I'd use a cross of these two suggestions. 1 Add another column to the right of your Y/N column (hide it late if you don't want it to be visible) 2 Add the following formula to the top cell in that column - - in my example A4 is the top of the Y/N column and B4 is whree I'm typing: =IF(A4="Y",1,0) 3 Add an average to the bottom of this new column: =AVERAGE(B4:B13)

why isn't mike williams playing?
Matt in KC replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is what I meant. I guess I've had the sense that a number of organizations play around with the injury report, most notably the Patriots, (listing a lot of people so it's hard to tell who is really hurt). The Bills, on the other hand seem to always report injuries very matter-of-factly with no obfuscation. This is the one case I remember where a player's health does not seem to jive with what is on the report. I do get your point though. Maybe he has a hang nail, so there is no chance he won't be able to play, yet we see him limping because damn it hurts! -

I comlpetely agree... But why do you think Mike has not been on the injury report? -

I've got to think that MW hasn't been honest with the team about his injury, maybe because he's worried he's as healed as he's going to get.... ? I cannot reconcile his looking hobbled with him not even being listed on the injury report. I thought MW's performance had been around average for a RT this year, though distinctly better early in the season, and worse lately. At this piont I'd take average talent, but between seasons we focus on salary/cap hit, and I can't imaging him coming back at his price. -
That just happened to me too, about 3-4 weeks ago. My sister named her baby Nicolas as well. Now, my wife and most of our close friends are pregnant (us with our first), and two of them are with a week the same amount pregnant! I'm veeery into the Bills right now, more than usual, because I'm so excited about being a father I'm trying not to think about it - - I want it to be closer. I have the feeling I may not watch the 2006 draft as closely as recent years....

Hmm, this sounds a lot like the Tampa Bay game, doesn't it? We'll have too see how hot it is when Chicago plays in TB next weekend, and how well they look.... Regardless of how Rusty's new team holds up, they Bills have consistently worn down. They are not in the condition they need to be.

I'll go out on a limb and predict the biggest upset of the week: Detroit (8 point underdog) beats Dallas. Dallas looked week versus Phili last week, but with the win I think they might not change course and come out flat versus Detrot. Oh yeah, I also need to make up some ground in the football pool (but which came first, the underdog picks, or the poor record...?)

Bills will open in 5 Wide, no huddle
Matt in KC replied to tjwbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I generally like to see a QB with any quickness run a bit, enough to keep the D uncomfortable, but no way would I call a run for Losman up the middle with Holcolm's ears still ringing. ("I think I can play, but I feel like I'm going to throw up.") In a surprise move, MW replaces Shelton at FB this week... -
How many yards will McGahee rush for...
Matt in KC replied to Outkast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
88 yards running, 20 of them "garbage yards". 24 yards receiving. LT: 128 yards, 22 receiving Bills win on a Lindell FG as time expires. -
A few things: Most episodes they start with the camera on a character, and proceed to show flashbacks to earlier in that person's life. This episode they started with the camera on the island, and showed flashbacks of earlier on the island. Anyone remember if they ever started an episode in a flashback? (I don't think so.) I thought the glass eye etc. were belongings that may have come from the "pirate" ship (with the dynamite). The tail section group seemed to run through an almost identical list of issues the main group had to face, but in almost every case the tail section has the weaker version of what the main group had: Crash / Bury people / Find food (fish) Have the doctor operate (or clinical psychologist) decide whether to leave the beach, burn a signal fire find a survivor still attached to part of the plane in a tree Hunt for food (chicken / boar) setting a trap to yank it into the air by its feet Need Antibiotics Have a survivor die (They didn't kill anyone who was suffering, did they?) Introduce the weapon(s) Imprison a survivor (hole/handcuffs) Have a survivor decide to stop talking (Jin / Eko) Torture a survivor for the good of the group Use the radio? Not get lured into percieved danger by the voice on the radio Ethan / Nathan ("other" invader) Children / baby kidnapped Enter a bunker and look through the stuff Get to other side of the island (where they find other survivors) Things I haven't seen from the tail group: Weird powers / patterns (ala Walt, Hurley etc.) They didn't build a raft, or plant a garden They haven't encountered or remembered the numbers They didn't find something they wanted on the island No Monster No golf course / backgammon or other games that I saw I bet next week (or maybe the week after) are flashbacks for Ana or Eko

Bills to wear their throwbacks agsin this week?
Matt in KC replied to mackey7789's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm almost positive I remember that they did petition the NFL to wear them a third time after the Bucs game because they wanted to wear them in SD. But, the NFL said no, that all exceptions needed to be requested at least a year ahead of time. I did not ever hear what a fine might be for showing up in the wrong uniforms.... Any chance the ref's would not let them play? -
Has ER offically jumped the shark?
Matt in KC replied to CoachChuckDickerson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Holy crap! I don't think I saw the movie, but I can picture him (did I see the movie? was I on a date? was I intoxicated? Tell me I didn't enjoy the movie!)... -
I'm not sure if you're kidding, so I'll give you a straight answer: Episode IV (Star Wars "A New Hope") is chronologically first in Earth-time (released in 1977). In far far away, long long ago land, they play out episodes one through six in order by number. The little kid in Episode I (The Phantom Menace) grows up to be Darth Vader by Episode IV. (Sorry if I spoiled anything...!)

So, does insurance cover her visit? I'd talk to theinsurance company and they can deal with the hospital about the financial issues. For you and your fiance, you need to decide if you're comfortable returning to the same doctor / hospital in the future. Also, you might consider posting somewhere to help other people get feedback about quality of care to aid their choices. (TBD?)

Has ER offically jumped the shark?
Matt in KC replied to CoachChuckDickerson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they definitely jumped the shark when the helicopter fell out of the sky onto Dr. Romano (the jerk dr whose arm was cut off by a helicopter on the hospital roof previously). So, when exactly do "sweeps" run from and to? I would guess that most shows that do jump the shark jump when they are in hotter water. -
My name is Matt and I'm a LOST-aholic (hi, Matt) Okay, I haven't posted in a LOST thread in awhile, but have been watching religiously, and really enjoy the hidden-clue aspect of the writing. Some thoughts and ramblings: 1. Shannon's "thing" seems to be that whenever something good happens to her, something bad comes quickly thereafter. 2. I think Ana Lucia is made more sympathetic in this next week's episode. I think they show why she snapped. 3. Prediction: we see some of the Others and they look like normal people. This will also help explain why Ana shot Shannon. This may fit in with Rouseau's "sickness" that overcame her research team (or did she just go crazy). 4. My "big" prediction: The Others are the people that have died on the island previously. Bonne, Ethan (and/or Shannon) may well be seen again.... 5. Another big guess: mostly the others are invisible because they are going backwards through time, but temporarily become visible when.... (the countdown is reset? bad thoughts come out?...) 6. Maybe people have manifested several others on the island (made real by thinking about them), at least temporarily: Jack's dad, the polar bear, Desmond, who knows: the tail section survivors? Claire's baby after kidnapped? Walt? Has anyone tried mapping out the character connections? Is Jack definitely the center of the connections?

NFL Midseason Report I thought several of you would appreciate the humor.

How hard would it be to move Big Mike to DT?
Matt in KC replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe MW can take the position Fletcher vacated: leading the wedge on kickoff returns.... -
Is Willis Mcgahee our RB of the future
Matt in KC replied to RVJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, I'm pretty sure he's our running back of the present. I hope he stays healthy/productive and we extend him at a fair price. Is there really more to talk about than "I wonder is Rosenhaus will push him into being an idiot?" Yes, he still has room or improvement, but he's doing great. -
All I can give you is a half hour or so.... Monday Night Football coming to ESPN

Can we play fast and loose (and win)?

I think there is at least a 2% advantage for a QB to hear who is starting from the coaches instead of the media.

Now EVERYBODY Should Be Happy
Matt in KC replied to Buffalo Baumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You know, MW did not look ready to start at RT after preseason; Gandy looked like twice the player on the opposite side. I was pleasantly surprised to see him perform much better in game 1 against Houston - - he was moving faster and looked like a different player. Unfortunately, I think that's how big Mike is. This gives me some reason to understand "throwing him in," though this time he looked significantly worse. -
I thought it was a bit underthrown as well. Not much, but in the slow-mo replay I thought it would have been a bit better 3-4 feet deeper.... So, does anyone know if that was actually just a random fan in the stands. If so, Baker definitely just got a bit cooler in my book. I'll have to watch the next couple weeks to see what he does with his next interception.

I watched on TV, so I don't know what got KC worked up (besides a loss). But after the run on first down, there was was a defender on top of McGahee at the end of the run repeatedly pushing his head into the ground after the whistle. Bennie Anderson saw this and lunged at the guy, and pushed him off. As a few Chiefs went to grab him, CV saw what was happening and stormed in to support his teammate. As a long-time hockey fan, I went from thinking Bennie was undisciplined as usual to appreciating his support (and CV's) of his teammate. Tell me you wouldn't want one of our linemen to go after a defender blatently pummmeling McGahee when the game outcome was (nearly) certain.
