  1. I thought yesterday's Pats loss couldn't get sweeter, but seeing BB whining about the kind of play that he perfected, executed by one of his former players, is just too much to bear. Tears of joy.
  2. You won't find any argument from me. If he's on our team and performing, he's "our dbag." I'd still reserve the right - as many do here with Stevie - to call him out on BS.
  3. Surely they are essential to victory. Sincerely, The NY Giants The New Orleans Saints The Indianapolis Colts
  4. There are people bringing in that they think he said "M.O.B." - something to do with Bloods... and saying he's from Compton. It's ridiculous. He was just being a douche. Don't bring race into it. When Brady's a douche, he's a douche, too. All dbags are created equal.
  5. They weren't all playoff finishers... besides, one might have said the same of GB when they drafted Rodgers. If any of those teams had first round value on EJ (which, I guess, is the debate), it's possible they could have pulled the trigger. Anyway, moot points and hypotheticals.
  6. Vikings, Texans, Rams? Broncos?? Peyton won't play forever. I just said what I thought, not that I guaranteed it. I do agree he'd have been gone by Jets in the second, possibly the Jags before them.
  7. That's how I was seeing it. I was definitely just thinking, "dude, you're going to the Super Bowl." He can do whatever he wants, and I suppose if he is fueled by this "chip on his shoulder" mentality that's fine. It smacks a little of Ray Lewis, with a dude whose game everybody respects acting like he is being disrespected all the time. Phony.
  8. So, because the Jets drafted bad players two decades ago, we shouldn't draft a tight end? That's a pretty strong case you make based on a legitimate data set.
  9. I don't mind the emotion. Going and patting the guy's ass after you just made the play... bush league. Go celebrate with your teammates. That's the best way to rub it in their faces. He put the Douche Bag in DB for tonight.
  10. I think he'd have been gone by the end of the first.
  11. A prince among men. I hope they do the right thing and hire him.
  12. Exactly. Have we seen how Pettine delegates offensive decisions, or what his philosophy for an offense is? What do we know about his in-game management and clock management? I can't say he wouldn't be good at these things, or even better than Marrone, but we have no evidence to support that he would be.
  13. Gooooooo Seattle! I'm going to trust that this assessment comes from the countless hours you've spent in the locker room and on the practice field with these guys, and is not a baseless assertion or a hunch based on stats and what you see on TV. The best coach on staff could be the DBs coach. It could be the RBs coach. We don't have enough information here. Regardless, the point stands that keeping Pettine is important. But if you think keeping Pettine and essentially scrapping everyone loyal to Marrone would work -- and this is essentially what you'd have to do in this scenario -- that's bonkers. Also, Pettine's results were the most impressive, but they have plenty of room for improvement including the abysmal and inconsistent run defense.
  14. There is not an idea that I hate more than this one about the team going into 2014. They need some level of continuity, and if they have to go get a ton of new players to fit another DC's scheme, this team will again be sitting home watching the playoffs.
  15. So here's a good question - would a better RT improve our screen game more than a skill player? I'm curious. It'd be hard to quantify. I think I'd be happy with Watkins but no question would I love to see improvement on our O-line. Guard is a must in there somewhere.
  16. Robinson, but I'd really hope to end up with Seferian-Jenkins or another big-time receiving target in R2.
  17. This. And don't forget Shakiraquan T.G.I.F. Carter, or Donkey Teeth.
  18. That's a real stretch, dude. The Detroit River clearly flows between Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair. No need for deception.
  19. I posted that exact same scenario here: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/164748-mike-pettine-speculation-interviewing-with-cleveland/page__st__260#entry3037964
  20. X-rated? Citing The NY Post? C'mon man, you're better than that. Half of this is embellished.
  21. I'll bet this was Rob Chudzinski's position, too. Just sayin'.
  22. Even then, my long-yardage-situation friend.
