  1. Umm, Larry Fitzgerald has played in a Super Bowl and more than one playoff game. I noticed AJ Green and Julio Jones aren't on your list, and several of these receivers have been in the postseason. Moulds was a jet engine installed in a Yugo.
  2. If they sell out for blitz and fail with this receiving crew + Spiller there is a good chance it's going to be six points.
  3. I also think people need to remember that first round picks are not quite the value they used to be, because they simply don't cost as much due to the rookie cap. Therefore, if you have rookie cap to spend on player X, you may as well make player X elite. Two very good players, vs one that is universally hailed as a sure thing that you can plug in for the next 5-6 years and never worry about the position? I'm for it. Too many people are bringing their EJ issues into this without realizing that the Bills will not be drafting his replacement this year, and without really looking at what he accomplished as a rookie. To say nothing of the fact that he had to take the field far earlier than the team had hoped. Beerball brought up the fear of giving this kid a "Ferrari" a few weeks ago, and thought it better to get the OL and TE positions more in order. That's a fair statement, but I look at it this way. If EJ TRULY can't handle the Ferrari, you can bring in a FA QB who would love to drive one next year. I for one think that OL issues could be minimized with better footwork from EJ setting up better passes, and by getting the ball out quickly to dangerous targets. If we have passing threats, they cannot send the house against EJ all day long.
  4. 1) they are all inherently risks. Every Damn pick. Let's get that out of the way first. 2) it would take a hell of a lot more than two extra picks to get an Andrew Luck. Houston was asking for a first this year plus two more, WITHOUT a talent like Luck available at QB. The price was high but fair if you think this kid can be a star receiver.
  5. Meh. If you think this guy will have a career similar to Megatron or Julio Jones, you act decisively. The gulf between that kind of player and a very solid starter is still pretty vast. He should be held to that standard and we should all be thrilled with the potential.
  6. That it's a good thing Staples is hiring?
  7. It's funny, where have I heard this before?
  8. Agreed. Plus, if this team is a winner, the job of retaining talent becomes easier. Byrd very well could have wanted to stay if he hadn't been endlessly frustrated by all the change here.
  9. Yup. They managed to Browns up a decent trade.
  10. Surprise, surprise, the natural born haters of this board remain consistent. Who was the pick, then?
  11. Really, because it sounds like you think they need a QB right now. Why will it suddenly set us back 5 years when this whole draft hasn't even finished, there will be 2015 free agency, and another draft to pull a QB from? And this is all insisting that they in fact need a QB next year. Loser mentality. Build a great team, and if the QB isn't the one, a new one comes in with tons of great weapons to work with.
  12. Not if you think Evans is more Wayne Chrebet than AJ Green.
  13. Cleveland has a rich history of showing that they know what they are doing with multiple high draft picks. Be very afraid.
  14. So let's patch it up with a guy who threatens women with rape.
  15. Well, if he likes the state of NY, he doesn't have any other options
  16. I hope they do not draft him. It is hard enough for me to get used to Spikes in a Bills uni though I am trying. When a guy is a bona fide a--hole towards women I think that's enough reason to pass. Making rape threats is inexcusable.
  17. In order, but not necessarily in order of probability: Watkins, Clowney, Ebron, Robinson. Round 2, Seferian-Jenkins if we don't go with Ebron in R1.
  18. Sugarin' the gas tank like a mofo.
  19. I will abstain from getting excited until such time as it is "on like Donkey Kong." Speaking of which, someone, and I really mean The Big Cat, should make a Bills excitement alert level chart.
  20. Polian wasn't a true football man until he became one. What is Whaley doing so wrong after 11 months on the job that he doesn't qualify to run the football side of the operations?
