  1. Collinsworth also had a lot of really kind things to say about Jimbo.
  2. Do you guys remember LSI Cadets / Oneonta Bills Fan?
  3. He definitely has a real case of the sucks. Neufeld seemed like he should have had the frame to be a quality TE in the league but his football competence was pretty damn low.
  4. I know a local frame shop.
  5. We do need a backup QB. If Jacksonville hadn't picked him way too early I would have been happy with him in the 4th.
  6. Championship caliber body language.
  7. And Pegula shouldn't go broke, but Bon Jovi, who is worth at least 14 times less, should?
  8. To tack on to Hplarrm's sentiment, I think fans are really having a problem with looking at successful outliers as the only models of success, where there are far more examples of players developing into above-average starters or better in this league, over a few seasons. That's all magnified at the QB position, of course.
  9. Cathal Kelly makes Sully look like a rank amateur in the art of trolling. I wish I had known it was him before I clicked. Pegula doesn't need to "go broke" buying the Bills because he's cemented his status already? I thought Buffalo was such an armpit that it needs all the help it can get, according to Catroll Kelly. What a f---ing loser, and an ignorant one at that. At least Jerry knows the issues that he tries to get people riled up about. Edit: also, nowhere has it said JBJ and Pegula were finalists. Pegula and Trump, yes, with no confirmation of the JBJ group.
  10. This is a thread-closer in the best sense of that phrase. You hit on all the right points.
  11. I don't know, I think he said to himself, "can I own the top 5 worst threads?" Because Mario-for-Skelton and CJ-for-Brock Osweiler are right up there.
  12. Please don't be sorry. If there's a higher ratio of perspective to out-and-out nonsense, you have done your part.
  13. Rue the day anyone gets their inspiration from Todd !@#$ing McShay for their analytical buzzwords. I'm reasonably certain if you drew a Venn diagram of the body language experts and the people who still think that bringing in Tebow would be a good option, there'd be a big overlap. So there's that...
  14. Regionalization of the brand, moving the camp to SJF, bringing in a fan base from Southern Ontario. These are all efforts that have made the Bills in WNY viable and profitable despite perceptions (and misconceptions) of the area as economically depressed.
  15. True. If I were him I would think long and hard about it, depending on the deal. Great paydays don't come all the time and any random health issue can mean you never see another one again. It's obviously a big difference between, say, $30M and $60M, but the way contracts are structured really only means a difference in signing bonus and maybe $1-2M more per year under the contract, if he gambles with time and health and wins. Then again, I'd be a horrible negotiator were I in this position; I think it'd be easy for most of us to be happy with a $10M signing bonus and what basically amounts to a year-to-year contract for millions more.
  16. That said, if this health thing is an aberration, I'd like to see them try to extend Cordy after this season. It will never be more reasonable to do so. Give him a good-faith raise that rewards him for the hard work, line up Seantrel on the other side, and maybe, if Henderson is really a better LT, you have Glenn at a salary that you're OK with for a RT or even a premium OG.
  17. You don't ever, ever cut cost-controlled players that you have under contract for two more years. The savings would be so negligible, and his replacement on the roster would be just as expensive in 2014-15 dollars. If his asking price is too high he'll be franchised. We're getting way too far down the line here but if this were the case he would be easier to move, as a LT, than was Byrd.
  18. Cut every one of those fourth-string defenders, I say!
  19. I actually have a soft-spot for the Ministry version of "Lay Lady Lay." Weird video though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npeYMJIbY8o And Pantera doing "Planet Caravan" is also pretty good, though it's the least metal that both bands ever seem to get.
  20. Notoriously slow starter needed more than a couple series to get going… not surprised. As noted by some others, on at least one of those Henderson disengaged from his man. Giants aren't the same team they were but they still have some experienced DLmen. I'm actually glad the batted passes happened in this game so that there is time to correct that and give him those looks in practice.
