  1. Noted that Sam Adams was not listed on the injury report in that article. Interesting... Also, Terrence probably back for the Miami game.
  2. Cleveland: where rock goes to become embalmed.
  3. I'd suggest banging your head against the wall till it hurts so this stuff starts to make sense.
  4. LOL. I was thinking the same thing. Try being the passer that gets sacked 50 times every time he drops back. Sucks to be that guy.
  5. touche' Now please, be serious.
  6. forgot to put the sarcasm on.
  7. How about Ditka and Martz fight for coveted GM duties in the steel cage? Winner gets to trade all our draft picks for a moustache trimmer, loser gets a box of crayons and a big coloring book to draw up "plays."
  8. Pretty much says it all, dunnit?
  9. If by "better," you mean, "beyond reason," you are correct.
  10. Don't get me wrong: 1) I want him to do it, and 2) I think he'd love to -- I'm not saying he's weak. On the contrary, I think he'd work himself too hard. I think doctors would advise against it, from what I've read. But I'm all for it. Hopefully Clements is booted and he's offered a shot.
  11. Using your logic, let's ask some questions, then. What difference has Takeo Spikes made? No playoffs. Cut him. Lee Evans? Gone. Terrence McGee? Should be winning games single-handedly for us. Gone. Cut 'em all. Martz should be in an armchair eating a half-gallon of ice cream, muttering to himself about his football genius.
  12. I'd imagine Wyche would want to be on field if he was OC. Plus he'd probably put in a lot more hours.
  13. What does it matter? Our horrid line was good enough to let McGahee make a difference. And it's on the GM to get better guys. He got 52 yards on effort, no help last Sunday. He's going to be good when he does get the help. What does this have to do with the phantom signing of a bad coach anyway?
  14. Apparently you've been asleep for over ten 100 yard games. If we do get the kid a good O-line, it would have everything to do with the GM and little to do with the offensive coordinator, who, last time I checked, doesn't sign personnel. And he'll look good. I don't need to see another pass-happy, out-thinking itself team in Buffalo. I got plenty with Gilbride. How many Super Bowls has Martz won exactly? What's been the progression of that team since Vermeil left? He made it back to the big game with Vermeil's team, and hasn't done jack since. Meanwhile, he lets a perfectly good back in Steven Jackson rot. I'm sorry, Martz sucks. Better coaches who preach sound fundamentals would get a lot more out of that roster than that master of the gimmick. BTW, Martz is such a genius he let Bobby April go. Thanks, Mike.
  15. Better value than the Sunday ticket, IMO. I should have gone for Center Ice instead, especially given this season's results for the Bills and Sabres. Ah well, I probably would have just gone to the bar and spent more to watch the Bills games.
  16. I hope you enjoy wasting a good run game. Boo to Martz. As for Wyche, he can't call plays in a loud stadium with his vocal-chord situation, and he probably shouldn't be working to death either with his heart condition. I'd love to see him take the reins, but not to the detriment of his health.
  17. Introducing Kevin Everett. Evans will get better. 10.8 mill is a lot of cap room. A lot. You expect production that warrants it. We'll see how Eric looks these last few games. It sounds as though he has finally at least bought into the fact that JP is the best quarterback for the team right now. That has to help.
  18. It was definitely cool to see him looking off guys in the KC game. I wish they'd use more play-action, also, I think the kid has a good fake. However, the best RB in the game has to be earning yards for that to work.
  19. I was wondering where Rich was. The other problem with getting rid of all the idiots is there would be no one to complain about the Gestapo tactics of the board.
  20. I've more confidence that can be coached out of him at this point (the locking on receivers, can't vouch for the Favre-love). Hell, Drew was perma-locked on Moulds. I think Wyche can be reasonably expected to help JP get better in that dept. At least he's in development, instead of still doing it 10-12 years into his career.
  21. I'm pretty sure he's 65. Ralph would have to make it pretty interesting for him; I believe he's turned down the Dolphins and a few others in the past few years. There would also be competition -- I read recently that the Vikes were making overtures towards him for next year, though I wonder if he could really do that to the Packers.
  22. Tom doesn't like his lousy footwork, and is intimidated by Losman's appreciation for burly QBs doing yardwork in little red shorts.
  23. But, but, but, he's no MANNING!
  24. What would you think of using the 3-4 in Buffalo, Darin (given the personnel)?
