  1. Almost jumped the shark, huh? Consider it jumped! Where do you go from here when suddenly the President is involved in one of the worst days of terror in the nation's history? Patently ridiculous.
  2. He would work at Yahoo so he could get all the hot scoops.
  3. So ya think we could get Vince Young?
  4. Is this your homework, Larry? This is what happens, Larry.
  5. I'm not sure which one of these is Clayton
  6. True, I missed that. Maybe Clayton got a radio. In good news, this means Moulds will be staying with us this year
  7. This is from a guy who thought the Ravens should have given Chris Redman more time to see if he was their franchise QB. So take his evaluation with a grain of salt.
  8. Do you really need to use a plural when referring to the Houston fanbase?
  9. ESPN article confirming talks are heating up: From ESPN
  10. The question is, was he at the airport donning Blue and Gold?
  11. I see what you're doing and it's amazing.
  12. The way I see it there are four ways of looking at the Losman situation, as I've detailed in your choices here. Very few seem to fall into the top and bottom categories, but I sense some haters out there who think the kid's got no shot whatsoever. I've gone on the record on it and I disagree. I'd put myself in category #2 -- JP's given us plenty of cause to worry, but I am willing to attribute a large part of his failures last year to circumstance. A clean slate, level competition and a chance to really win the job this year should give him the chance to bear down and rise when faced with adversity. Just wanted to gauge opinions here. Edit: PS, sorry for starting another JP thread.
  13. ap·par·ent adj. 1. Readily seen; visible. 2. Readily understood; clear or obvious. 3. Appearing as such but not necessarily so; seeming: an apparent advantage. Maybe if you go by the third definition. But it's far from obvious that Losman is out or has had a falling out with a new staff that's been around for a short time and not had its own chance to evaluate.
  14. Because this new management has seen no practices and has been around for all of three months? You're kidding, right? Right?
  15. Dear God, no. Let's give James Patrick a call.
  16. Please post more often. It's nice to read a thoughtful post like yours among the work of so many kindergartners.
  17. He lives in a condo downtown, which is really investing in Buffalo a lot more than buying a $500 grand McMansion out in East Aurora.
  18. It's sort of like the guy who didn't go to Tulane so therefore he knows more about football than anybody else here. In response to AFCBeast, the original guy said this: No citation of anything. This is all one guy's thoughts, deductions arrived at because he feels a certain way about what he's read. It is meaningless. The only player who's gone on record is one who wants out of here anyway. The others know that there's a QB competition and you can't tell me for a minute that if Losman went out there and won it handily this summer that anybody in the Locker room would give a damn what number's on the jersey if the guy wearing it is performing. It's a new season with new circumstances, coaches, management, and opportunities for players to prove themselves. People like this Yahoo tool are like John Clayton without the ESPN credibility (remember how Eric Moulds was cut a month ago? Yeah, me too.) They're wrong a lot of the time and people in their thirst for more information that they can pick up and then forget will eat it up. He's as likely making his own deductions from some scout who didn't like him at the combine and heard something from someone who heard something as he is getting info from a true inside source. People making sh-- up and presenting it as fact does piss me off. I'm sorry more people are accepting of it around here.
  19. My head is going to explode. Who's your source? You got London Fletcher on speed-dial or something? Why don't you just make some more sh-- up and hope it sticks to the wall? I hear brown is 'in' this year.
  20. Don't even bother, man. This sh-- is like arguing with a brick wall. Except for the opposition has less going on upstairs. Make rational statements and you'll just get a lot of "but... but... he sucks!" and a few unfounded statements made after seeing half a season of stats under a moron for a coach and a sieve for a line, while the 'star' receiver pouts like a 4-year old. Apparently that's enough for some people. Let's just draft Cutler now so we can get over him and draft the Notre Dame QB the next year. Idiots.
  21. A !@#$ing broken leg doesn't show you're injury prone. It shows that the retard 'leader' of the players' union doesn't know what a goddamned red shirt means in training camp. If he was getting regular groin or knee injuries that's one thing. But I'm sick of the stupid "injury-prone" statements. It's clear you'll pull anything out of thin air to criticize Losman.
  22. Easier than doing actual work, isn't it?
  23. Do you feel the same way about the confederate flag being flown alongside the American flag? Serious question, not trying to instigate.
