  1. Fantasy Football sucks. Boston football analysts suck. And Losman doesn't suck, but could suck, but might not, but it would suck if we don't give him enough time to know for sure.
  2. Not a precipitous drop-off at all, considering. Addai will do just fine behind that line as the season wears on.
  3. RE-SIGNED. AAARGH. And no. Just-not-speedy Jonathan did not get re-signed by the Bills or the Patriots. He will be in somebody's camp giving it his last shot next summer.
  4. Rashad Baker is interfering with fair catches for the Vikings and Lionel Gates is the best running back the world will never see in Tampa Bay.
  5. Indy finally makes the Super Bowl this year by virtue of the fact that they are not just killing everybody as usual. I think Dungy will learn from his mistake of resting everybody before the playoffs this year and have them hungry. Indy is #2. The Eagles are #3 and they're doing it with a WR corps suspiciously like those of New England's in the past -- no bona fide A1 guy but a bunch of dudes who can step up any week. Oh, they miss T.O. allright.
  6. You didn't think the copy machine sh-- was LOL funny? That was hysterical. It's probably one of the more visually creative films done in a long time. Gondry is a genius and a throwback in that regard, esp. in terms of his methods.
  7. Challenge accepted.
  8. We'll take it. It's time Tim Anderson looked all-world against a sub-par opponent again.
  9. I think Aaron Gibson is the guy who wouldn't let me in the club last night.
  10. Also hence the reason Paille is going to start the season in Rochester. Boy, weren't there a few moments you wished we had Timmy Connolly down in their zone last night? I, too, noticed the, ahem, sluggish, power play. I hope the loss of Scott Arniel isn't going to hurt us that much as the season progresses.
  11. First two games with a new system on the road is reason to be triply conservative. I don't think you'll see the same mindset in Chicago. It'll be there, but it won't be as close to the vest. Make no mistake, Jauron wants this one, bad.
  12. I don't hate the jerseys. They look better than the goat-head whites. The logo? ehhh. I think the tide can be turned and this one can become our third once the alts start selling.
  13. This definitely has the look of being written in homeroom for first period.
  14. Hopefully Mularkey will show Chambers who's boss and deactivate him for the season.
  15. Just when you think it couldn't get dumber, people are railing on TKO, who only got hurt again because of the maximum effort he was expending. Whenever he's healthy, he's healthy. If he's not, I'd rather not see his Bills career end because of some misguided notion that he needs to be ready for even one game sooner than he really is ready. I'd like to see you pussies try and play Bocce at an all-Pro level after tearing your achilles, much less professional football. We saw on play one that the guy can wreak havoc. I'm staying on his bandwagon.
  16. I think the mistake was that they forgot the stink lines.
  17. Yes, Merz. And don't prod the bear!
  18. How 'bout that Miller?
  19. I try to listen most of the time, and speak if I really have something to say. I don't always succeed, but it's a pretty good rule. And if the board is just looking blind dumb, I avoid it. I think the idea that the Bills could be trying to oust a respected, still productive player like Takeo is rather unfounded. The kind of thing that happened with Vincent is so off-the-charts rare that it was a perfect storm that it happened. Make no mistake that Jauron wants TKO back the moment he is ready. You couldn't say the same for Vincent, especially with the safety depth we had. As to whether they'll have to revisit his situation in the offseason and draft his replacement, or decide that Ellison's the man, and eventually cut Spikes, it's an unfortunate possibility -- not yet a probability -- yet all that is FAR more likely than the team trying to "oust" him.
  20. I'm a fan of fun. I'm not a fan of equating someone who obviously can't read with someone who has proven deserving of plenty of respect around here, even by those who sincerely disagree with him.
  21. No one's playing god, but someone's gotta stick up for common sense.
