  1. Picking him is looking like a luxury move at the moment. His best shot is unseating Jabari Greer, who has looked wholly uninspiring. The Beast has got a hold on the 3rd CB job right now. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the offseason. I think if we don't keep Nate, Milwaukee will move into the starting two at least temporarily while Youboty learns at nickel.
  2. He went into hiding as Buford T. Justice.
  3. If you're going to slam King, do it for this one: Sure, Pete. Thanks for the praise of JP, but Jesus, how accurate does he have to be to qualify? From Buffalobills.com:
  4. Damaged goods. She was married to Rod Stewart. Ugh.
  5. Obviously... obviously he's saying 'obviously' too much...
  6. He has time, ergo he can make his reads. It's that simple. Kudos to the line -- they are playing out of their heads. I was skeptical after the Houston game given the quality of opponent but if they can do that well against Jax I'm sold. Another big test next week.
  7. My buddies and I were trying to think of what the ridiculous Post headline was going to be today in-between periods of the Sabres game. They went with: "Big Blew" on the front page and "Tackling Dummy" on the back. We suggested "You Got Vinced," "Eli-minated," "Music City Meltdown."
  8. His post is from Nov. 6.
  9. Manhattan Murder Mystery is also a lot of fun. I'll second Mighty Aphrodite as well.
  10. Seriously... do they ever throw a flag for the Lambeau leap? What was up with that? All told I can't complain much about the refs yesterday but that one threw me for a loop.
  11. Even nicer to tune into the Bills game, grab dinner and head to the Garden for a win!
  12. A friend mentioned something yesterday -- Tripplett was facing two traditional Indy opponents in Houston and Jax these past couple weeks. I hope his inspired play can sustain itself over the rest of the season and is less due to the more familiar opponents.
  13. I just got back from the game. Small but vocal Buffalo contingent. Lots of jerseys spied on the way out. It was awesome. We started a few "Let's Go Buffalo" chants that got picked up by the bigger section of Sabres fans in the 300s behind the Buffalo net (any of you guys in there?). Yelled "MILLLLEERRRRRRRRRRRR" a lot. Cheered our asses off for three great goals. The Rangers played really well tonight, too. Killed off a 5-3 and then another 2 minutes of penalty when it seemed the momentum might totally swing our way. But DRUUUUURY saves the day. Some classy Rangers fans and then a few who were jerks of course. The best they could come up with: "Buffalo Homos," "Buffalo Sucks," and "Scott Norwood." Pretty lame. We answered back with the only thing that mattered: "first place!" Good times. I'll be in DC next weekend watching the Sabres take it to Ovechkin and the Caps! Go Sabres! Go Bills!
  14. Any other tidbits from the PC?
  15. I am definitely interested in seeing more of Brad "Moe" Cieslak.
  16. Go Bills, indeed. FINALLY, Roscoe into the gameplan. If he can emerge as a legit threat to complement Evans, we are going to have some fun watching the Bills in the future. I was, however, SCREAMING at the defense that somehow found a way to blow it just when it had Garrard in a corner in that last minute. Fewell needs to ream those guys out -- they almost cost the team the game.
  17. Our season is ruined.
  18. Did you read in any of my words that I said he's the next Aikman, numbnuts? Your reading comprehension is on par with that of a second-grader. You said nobody "mortgages the future" on a starting QB with that kind of record. I pointed out somebody with a worse record who was ultimately successful. That's it. The point was that Dallas was building a champion at that time and it TOOK TIME. If we hope to do the same it's going to take time. Have fun sitting around praying for a loss this afternoon.
  19. I thought Novotny and Kotalik looked rather unimpressive. Jiri is definitely pressing. I watched the game closely and saw a team that really hung with Montreal all night. It was one of those games. Miller would like to have those back, I'm sure, but all the same he made some spectacular saves. Also, you can only let so many 3 on 2's happen before they get you. Miller made the move on Kovalev, the more gifted scorer, only to have Souray keep it. The kids look good. I am not going to doubt Lindy but I'd sure like to see the 6th youngster, whoever it is on any given night, getting a little more time to take the pressure off of the older legs like Teppo. Paille made a Tallinder-like move last night in helping out his keeper. I like this kid. We didn't win but there were some really good signs in this game. And like any winning product it needs to be tested and ultimately needs to fail a few times to turn out better in the end. I'm glad we're seeing a few flaws that can be fixed now rather than later.
  20. You'd have to have a mental disorder to understand Deluca's rationale for just about anything football-related.
  21. Only argument I might make against you there is that Willis has not run behind the revamped line. Also, AT has not gotten it done in short yardage which is sort of surprising considering he's supposed to be the harder-running, tough back.
  22. Yeah, it was a good thing Dallas didn't mortgage their future on a 1-15 QB. My god, you continue to top yourself.
  23. This one wasn't posted here: Sound familiar? I am mentally replaying Tom Brady killing us over and over again.
  24. Sounds like too many cooks in the kitchen. Also sounds like they're getting the Gregg we knew we had by the end of his tenure.
