I guess not. I googled as many entries as I could think of and didn't see that link. Where was it?

Oof. Why not just stitch "Ronnie Jones" on in that case, and replace the numbers with a photographic screen of a smiling 'thumbs-up' Wade Phillips?

I was given a McGahee jersey for Christmas and I've found that it's just stupid to try and sell it. The new ones are priced so low that trying to sell even a lightly used one is a worthless proposition. So, I'm wondering if there are any Bills of old who wore Willis' #21 and might be worth stitching on the backplate instead. But I can't find an all-time Bills roster on BB.com or anywhere else, for that matter. Any promising leads? I am holding out hope that I can go with Peterson #21, but that requires first that we draft him and second that he uses this number.

Talks between Bills and Chris Brown heating up.
RuntheDamnBall replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you look at how long it's taking Brown to catch on anywhere, I feel he could very well be a bargain pickup that may or may not pan out a la Reyes last year. His injury troubles worry me. As regards the draft, I know that the battles are won in the trenches but if Adrian Peterson is there I would have to pick him, and would rather have him than Brown. -
Are the Democrates Proud of This?
RuntheDamnBall replied to VRWC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
WTF does this rally have to do with the Democratic party, or "Democrates"? Sure, this out-of-context photo is bad. These idiots have the freedom to do this, just as the idiots in the KKK can have a rally. Note that they also won't show their faces, which says to me that it's just as possible that these guys are plants by the opposition to make a peaceful rally look bad -- and I have seen this happen before. But does the rest of what's going on there strike you as un-American? American flags waving -- not burning, people gathering peacefully, speaking their minds, sharing ideas? They may not be the ideas you agree with, and they may not even be that well thought-out. I don't know. I wasn't there. But if you look at all those photos, that's America in practice, in its ugliness and at its best all at once. -
I always like the grit of something used. I have a late 70s/early 80s Fender London Reverb. Sweet spring reverb in it, it doesn't master distortion all that well and I find I need to use a pedal to really get it to scream, but the clean tone is superb, and a little overdriven it sounds really nice. I play a Tele so no way am I getting full-on heavy metal tone out of it anyway. Don't know Line6's amps but their DL-4 delay modeler with 14-second sampling and overdub mode is awesome.

Saudi Woman gang raped by 7 men...

I think all the options suck. I just think we shouldn't be kidding ourselves about who we're dealing with either. And as JSP says, who really wields the power? I also think that the years of exercising our power to command $3-and-rising gas won't help us much in the long run. -

I don't think this story was posted to be taken at face value, i.e. "wow, this happened, it was horrible." Horrible things happen every day. And they become politicized by each side. Some on the right will use it as justification for a policy that views Islam in general as a barbaric religion. Others on the left will use it to point out that we're pretty much going to remain silent on this one because SA is a partner for us, and question what the implications of this are. So if you want it in the correct order: 1) Yes, this is terrible. Beyond terrible. 2) Men who would do such a thing are warped beyond belief. 3) People who are compelled to do horrible things will use whatever means to justify it, sanctify it, rationalize it: religious, legal or otherwise. Any history book can tell us that. 4) Why we'd want to support such people is beyond me. -

Perhaps he's saying it would have been better if the 95 reasons drummed up to make invading Iraq seem OK didn't include human rights abuses and terrorism, given that a nation 'friendly' to our interests houses some of the worst. -
Our Sabres seem to have hit a major roadblock
RuntheDamnBall replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hey, even if NJ does take #1 from us, I'm not worried. It could very well be the kick in the pants the team could use. Besides, NJ would finally sell out a few playoff games thanks to Sabres fans should we meet them. -

In 4 road games, no less. These guys suck. -
I Hope Clapton Comes to either

you might say that. I have little issue with the Cream records. I take a lot of issue with this idea that he's some sort of statesman of the blues and that he is some sort of descendent of Robert Johnson. And the fact that his lionizing of RJ has basically suppressed the contributions of other great bluesmen to canonize just one. He's a wussy-ass cash cow and any play for blues authenticity on his part is a monumental joke. -
Riiiight. See: Ronald Reagan.

Steve Gadd is an awesome dude. We worked with him a bit on the last P. Simon record. Eric Clapton on the other hand, I hope he comes to either my house or my favorite hangout so I can punch him in the face. He can take his slick white "blues" and shove it. -
I signed Moulds on Madden and we went 16-0 and Moulds beat Losman in the steel cage match. Bring 'em back, Marv!

Did you see those new San Diego jerseys? Our jerseys suck.

I'd take my chances with Scarlett.

24 Season Six Discussion Thread
RuntheDamnBall replied to billsfanmiami(oh)'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
I again thought this episode was pretty middling. The VP is totally irrational. They are wasting Karen Hayes' character. It sucked that Jack's dad disappeared from the storyline. What about the President's sister? Booring, let's move on. They are dropping storylines left and right and making up new ones like crazy. Why exactly will the Russian President want to listen to the deposed President's wife and on a dime allow the invasion of the Consulate and killing of 20 staffers? Not enough Jack in this one either. I am going to take a shot in the dark and say they are going to look at replacing Jack w/ ol' Silver Spoons. My favorite though: "I don't know what I'd do without that man's produce!" The soap-opera acting has now steered this show clearly into soap opera territory. "24" needs to step up its bad-ass quotient fast. Hopefully Ricky Schroeder is actually capable of that. Sure seems like they're trying to make his character an ****. JSP, I didn't mind RS one bit in NYPD Blue. Him or Gosselaar, even, thought they fit right in. In the right context I think some of these guys can do alright. -
The point is that during the show they have set foot in a recording studio, so, before they are stars that anyone will remember, the preliminary steps have been taken, that's all.

All right, so you got all 50 U.S.A States in Ten Minutes

I got 23, 25 if you count the fact that I typed in 'Republic of Congo' and 'Democratic Republic of Congo' but didn't count either because I didn't type in 'the' Congo. Boo. Tough, though. Of the ones I missed, I was really mad I missed Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Senegal. -

I recall watching the conference finals around my birthday (game 6 was on May 24). So you're likely looking at Memorial Day weekend for the earliest start, if I have it right.
