  1. Bills fans cheered when rob Johnson got hurt and Flutie was put in the game. I'll never forget that.
  2. Man, we've got journalists, insiders, and now Torry Holt's agent hanging out on this board.
  3. Sam Bradford is not Payton Manning and he might not be Drew Brees, who incidentally didn't take the team that drafted him to the Super Bowl.
  4. Dallas also had a king's ransom of picks via the Herschel Walker trade. Explain to me how we are going to find another team stupid enough to give us that many draft picks for anyone on our roster. Dallas' path was not simply 1. Draft Aikman 2. Draft everybody else 3. Win It had a lot to do with Dallas' extra picks and the fact that they went 1-15 the next season to set up top-of-the-round position in the next draft. Is anyone going to give this team a chance if they go 1-15 next year?
  5. You're being very generous to refer to Trent's performance at any time in his career as having "mojo." For some reason I'd think of "mojo" as resulting in more than 11 passing TDs in one's very best season. What's happened since means that a very cautious caretaker QB, one who might win you games with a great defense, is now toast. Let it go. By the way, Losman sucks, and yet he produced our last 300 yard game and our last 3,000 yard passing season. He also had a season where he had 19 passing TDs. I can't imagine Trent staying out of the infirmary long enough or mustering the courage onfield to get 15.
  6. It doesn't matter a damn if dude plays big. Name another receiver who's played opposite Steve Smith. I'll spot you Muhsin Muhammad, who is still a journeyman.
  7. I'm definitely on record as supporting a pickup of Tate. If he can be had in the second round, the Bills should go after him. He is exactly like S. Smith - underrated, not prototypical WR, just gets open. The many Golden jokes would be an added bonus.
  8. If you saw Ted Washington or Pat Williams with their shirts off, do you think you'd be gazing at 7-minute abs? Big fat dudes who stop the run have a place in the NFL. Wake up.
  9. Signing bonus = many, many more guaranteed cheeseburgers.
  10. I think in the 2110 draft they'll probably be selecting one of the priests of the temples of syrinx. He should be ready by 2112.
  11. Aaron Rodgers was the next Kyle Boller.
  12. Travis Henry was fine on the football field. The team should have just given him a vasectomy bonus and told him not to spend it all on coke.
  13. MILLERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
  14. This lahjik brought to you by the makers of "Orakpo went to Texas. Texas bad!"™
  15. A situation with much sliding definitely suggests a different result to me: that some team would trade up and grab Suh and / or McCoy at the "reduced price" of draft picks and slot. The temptation would be too big. If you know you don't have to give up as much or spend as much on the #2, 3, 4 etc pick vs trading for #1 overall, the deal can look more attractive.
  16. I would not be worried about much else besides whether the guy can play football. This is a media guy complaining that he didn't get what he wanted out of Davis on the public relations level. I'm not sold on Davis at #9, but if Chan is, it'll be because he thinks he can play in the NFL.
  17. There is more of a book on McCargo, but from what i could tell Ellis did well in the preseason and then was given few opportunities by the coaches. Hardy was rehabbing from injury after a first year spent learning the playbook, and then was given few opportunities by the coaches. Does Stevie Johnson suck because he was given few opportunities by the coaches this past season? Or do we just not know? See what Chan thinks and give the ridiculous intangibles arguments a breather.
  18. I'm with you, KD. I hope he comes back and rushes for 1600 yards and leaves at the first opportunity to spite the haters. The dude is HARD to take down if he's put in a good situation. He can get three yards when it should be a loss (which has happened often with the Bills' run-blocking). He needs to hit the hole more quickly, but I think with some good coaching and blocking Lynch-Jackson could become the formidable tandem we imagined it could be.
  19. Guys who haven't been on the field much obviously don't love football because a staff that went 20-28 over three years didn't play them (Ellis, Hardy, etc). Also, Aaron Schobel loves football so much that he can't decide if he'll play it next season.
  20. Would YOU love the game if you played for Dick Jauron?
  21. +100000000000000001UPWIN
  22. Would you argue the Bills made the Super Bowl based on Walt Corey's awesome 3-4 defense?
