  1. We obviously can't know but it all looks like a dick move. That said I think he might not have known Orton was going to retire. KO definitely seems to have that lone wolf streak.
  2. maybe he had just been waiting all this time for Geno Smith to recover from that Pinstripe Bowl. Now that he got the film on one good win, the time is right.
  3. think 49ers pre-Harbaugh. This could yet work out in our favor.
  4. He is definitely one of the six QBs that I'd pick.
  5. Well, does he have a pulse and control of all four limbs?
  6. He looked pretty bad in 2013 too. I think he took some time to get back to himself after that injury. It could have been bad with him here last year. I still wish we'd had him for the sake of continuity and a clearer path to developing EJ. I refuse to believe like many here that Manuel never could have succeeded. But I do believe that this trajectory could be leading to the result that he is damaged goods. Good coaching early on is critical, as is a resilient personality. Fitz does have the latter and I would argue that Orton does, too, even though I believe he was protecting his health at the cost of better plays at the end of this season.
  7. Antoine Winfield, Pat Williams, London Fletcher. But if It pleases your contrarian streak, I'll stop.
  8. I wonder if LaCanfora knows when that CJ Spiller trade is finally gonna go down.
  9. Not gonna happen. He's just another in a proud tradition of Bills who went on to cement great reputations elsewhere. He's probably an idiot, but great football player.
  10. All's I've got is a bucketful of sighs in reply to that one, KTD.
  11. My daughter kicked me in the junk once on accident. I had the Manhertz all afternoon.
  12. This season, yes. You don't think that was a response coached into him after last season?
  13. Yup. Also, Nix was still in the room at that time. I think EJ was a consensus pick. It may not turn out to be the right one, and Marrone may be giving up on him sooner than others in the org are, but I can't believe the idea that he was "saddled" with the guy.
  14. too many people get their kicks from calling our QB garbage. The one thing I'll say for EJ, and this is despite his many struggles, is that you do not see him give up on a play and turtle up. You will not see him slide short of a makeable first down. The kid may not have it - or whatever he had may have been coached out of him. But he does want it.
  15. I don't know that we want a second round QB - we may, but it depends on who's there. But everything else you posted is spot-on.
  16. gave it a whole four games this season plus an injury-riddled rookie year. I am going to wager that a good number of people here paid little attention to Drew Brees' early career.
