  1. It doesn't bode well for him, but I'd certainly bring him to town and work him out. The Bills are not really in the business of being choosy when it comes to QBs right now.
  2. Little person is the preferred nomenclature, dude, please. And if that little person makes the playoffs? I'm all for it.
  3. I tried to see if I could locate a picture of the Patriots taking a nap in the locker room to represent a week of preparation for Jeff Tuel as the starter. No dice.
  4. Personally, I wonder if this injury was not something the Bills have known about for awhile, and something that would make them hesitant to up the ante in negotiations. That's just speculation, but if this kind of injury can be serious and last through a season, I can't imagine it would sit well with the organization about to guarantee him 20 million bucks.
  5. Kinda surprised to see Mark Asper back in the fold.
  6. The only thing Byrd would be guaranteeing by faking an injury is a big dent in future salary. Hell, any kind of foot injury like this is probably going to put a dent in his future salary. There is very little logic supporting this hypothesis, and just a whole lot of this continued character assassination act that seems to be popular among some Bills fans. Anyone who thinks otherwise is being highly speculative, and is frankly, nuts. I understand where people are coming from, to an extent. He makes a lot of money, more than most of us combined, and it's easy to call him a baby and say he should just take what is offered and play for that amount. That is a very limited view of this situation, though.
  7. Yeah, he was comparing it with cancer.
  8. Oh, stop thinking through this so clearly. It throws a total wrench into the complaint cycle.
  9. It'd be terrific to pick up Kluwe
  10. I wouldn't mind Dixon. Have never been impressed with Leftwich.
  11. I remember it well. Aught thirteen. The New York Times cost a nickel.
  12. How do those numbers compare around the league? They strike me as pretty team-friendly.
  13. I think Grossman sucks, but having a guy who has appeared in the Super Bowl, even as your #3, is pretty far off from this (I think). And Rex had also started for this same team, so he had experience with the team and staff. Whomever the Bills pick up will be fresh to this team.
  14. And if he isn't, or gets hurt, this looks like Tank Nation. I'd take a look at McElroy.
  15. My mockup of the first Tebow press conference.
  16. Sad for the guy, but pretty bad job by the scouts and Nix on that one. He looked like a reach from the word "go," and his health was a constant issue. I hope he can catch on somewhere. Is Justin Bannan still available?
  17. Especially since one of them is an UDFA. I know players come from everywhere, but in your ideal situation Tuel is fighting for a roster spot, not your probable week 1 starter and second most experienced QB.
  18. Next year's top draft pick? I keed.

  20. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Thadness.
  21. I'd be lying if I didn't say I find this disconcerting. I vote Batch for #3, clipboard, extra coach on the field and a good presence on the team. I don't care if he never sees a down - in fact, I prefer it. But this is pretty awful looking right now - even moreso than if they had held onto Leinart.
  22. CJ Spiller is a star. Mario Williams, if not worth his contract, is a star. Gilmore might become one if he stays healthy.
  23. Because Hogan is not one of our stars, it's OK to be irrationally excited about him.
