  1. Write-In vote for Kiko Alonso and His Time Machine.
  2. Look on the bright side; we also gave them a draft pick for a QB that we never used.
  3. I am pretty psyched to take the G train door to door to a Sabres game, I cannot lie. I do think it's sad that LI won't have a team though.
  4. Yet it's fair for EJ to lose the job to injury. Or are you really suggesting Manuel has "lost it on his own" after five games as a starter, in a year that the team may well not have planned on having him start? This is nuts.
  5. By the same token, Thad could have been benefiting from playing against a team that had precious little film on him. I'd say the jury is still very much out on a guy with one game with this club as a starter. A lot of guys have come in and had early success. Sustaining it when defenses are game-planning for you is a lot harder.
  6. ATL is a good team poorly coached and very injury-hobbled. The Colts and Atlanta were playoff teams last year. Cleveland - might actually be decent, and it was the week 1 Browns that seem to be a different team than the one out on the field these days. I think the Dolphins should be thought of as better than the Bills at this point. They are in year 2 of a rebuild with a first-round QB prospect and new-ish coach. We are in the first, and our QB is injured.
  7. Yeah. And though no doubt the guy does work, and is a professional, "journalist" is definitely a stretch. I can't really see how anyone in the employ of the team, who covers said team, can rightly be called a journalist. He's a fairly effective insider / PR guy.
  8. Agreed, it's not about drop-off. It's about upside. If EJ develops with size, strength and some of the intangibles on his side, he is clearly the guy. Now, is that to say that he is destined to be a great QB, or even a better one than Lewis? Not in the least. But the Bills have invested much in him and it'd be foolish to not seek the greatest return on that investment.
  9. Just heard back from Scott - Molly came home today and is back with the family. They obviously have some things to work out but it sounds like the worst is over. I don't know all the particulars, but I do know that they were able to get in touch with her because so many people spread the word. So with that, thanks everyone. Mods: you may un-pin.
  10. Aside from the whole murder thing, NE has done pretty well at this also.
  11. I have been beating the drum for this guy all fall. He's a beast.
  12. Nope. That's why I could see him gone. You shouldn't part with assets, but I don't believe anyone is thinking Tuel is a diamond in the rough right now. The assets are guys who have actually played a few decent downs in the NFL. Tuel looked like a man totally unprepared for the possibility that he would play in a game.
  13. Could be. Everyone's on an audition. I could see Tuel being gone. Honestly, if you had told me that we were going to have Flynn, Dixon and Lewis in camp this past summer with EJ, I would have thought it was a great situation. I fail to see why that's much different than now. That Dixon can stay on the PS so we can keep all 4 is just gravy, because as it turns out QB injuries are frequent enough that we need that many, and that means 4 QBs with some halfway-decently successful NFL games under their belt.
  14. Sort of? I mean, the team is competitive with a guy who was on the practice squad ten days ago starting. A guy who Detroit was going to cut. The team has most of the players it needs to win, but not enough of the health it needs to win. Hopefully EJ will do his part and take care of himself on the field.
  15. Problem is that Russell has a spare.
  16. I think a year of experience from our QB and a top-10 TE, and this team is well on its way. The other upgrades, I think you can take your pick. LG, one of the OLB spots, DL depth, another CB, any of these could be useful additions. I might say offensive coordinator, then duck. The guy clearly has some good ideas, but then he doesn't use them as much as he needs to.
  17. Brings a tear to my eye.
  18. Herpes test = Mrags date night
  19. Are you f***ing this up, dude?
  20. /dev/null is a poster consistent with the brand of excellence exhibited by this website's namesake, our Buffalo Bills.
  21. I believe we could get a sixth or a seventh, contingent on the Bills signing a rider that restricts them to using said pick on a (Florida State) kicker.
  22. Mrags has Thad Lewis underpants and a Todd Collins lunchbox.
  23. Yeah, I believe that it's the local cops who said they wouldn't.
  24. Just got a note from Scott, I'm friends with him but not super-close. Molly texted them today saying that she is OK, but would not tell them where she is. That's... decent news, but not 100% reliable and they still cannot track her phone, as I understand it, as long as they don't have proof that she is in imminent danger. @NoSaint: Yes, she had run away from home.
