  1. Relax everyone, this is the Bills. They will likely find a way to blow this.
  2. Two words: Calvin Johnson. And the way our schedule looks and the amount of games will end up winning, he may be available in the draft. Well, maybe not. He is top 3 in almost every draft board.
  3. He's awful. I've watched a lot of Packer games over the past 2 years and he is always getting burned or involved in a pass interference penalty. I was surprised he was starting last night after watching him get toasted the past 2 seasons.
  4. Miami, going to 2, calls a half-back, fake-reverse option. Classic Malarkey.
  5. Who cares? Any public figures at the games make the Bills more relevant, and this is only a positive thing.
  6. The So Cal Inland Empire is a wonderful place. Very hot, dirty and filled with meth labs.
  7. Is it to win or to cover? Either way, I think Philly is a good bet.
  8. All this means is that Chris Motensen was wrong - what else is new? - and made up a source to counter his earlier source which stated that Leinart would start for the Cards. Mort, Pencil-Neck and the rest at ESPN are just terrible reporters. Go Bills.
  9. There were a lot of positions from yesterday's game. Here are some points we need to remember: 1) JP is going to fail before he succeeds. Just like every good QB, JP needs to learn how to play in the NFL. He wasn't able to last year due to the coaching regime, and now he is getting the experience to be a better QB. I think we will see better things each week. He arm strength and accuracy was very good yesterday. Now he needs to learn to read defenses better. This will come with time. 2) Our Defense is young and will make mistakes. But, overall, they will be solid. They are also young and learning on the job. 3) Rebuilding. Rebuilding is a nasty word in this NFL, but we are. If you think because we won 1 game we are going to the playoffs, you are mistaken. But, we will be competitive and will work to being a very serious playoff contender next year. We have the pieces to be a good team. We are just letting them develop and learn to be good NFL players. 4) We have been competitive in every game and yesterday, down big, the team continued to play hard and have an eagerness to succeed. Last year, in games like the NE home game and some others, the team quit. This team won't. 5) People criticizing the coaching, a week after praising them, are too emotional. Let these coaches do their jobs. They are pointing the team in the right direction and will be an asset all year.
  10. ....we could very well be tied for first..with the rest of the division. NE @ Cincy NJJ v. Indy Miami @ Hou
  11. Anyone have a subscription?
  12. Actually there isn't any real difference between then and now. Bears are still one-and-done each year with or without DJ.
  13. I heard that too and had the same reaction. Way to go out on a limb there Joe. My prediction for the game: Pittsburgh either will or won't win the game. And you can take that to the bank!!
  14. Any early word on his playing status? How much better will this defense be with Takeo back and healthy?
  15. Yeah right. The Bills knew who they wanted and didn't want to risk a trade down and lose him. He will be a stud player for years to come. He showed great instinct in breaking up that 2-point conversion and seemed like he was in the right place all day. I really enjoy watching him play. By the way, Ko Simpson played well too. I love this Rookie class, and the National media (at least the CBS broadcasts each week) is starting to take note.
  16. Cincy at home v. Clevland...take the -10 and hit it hard.
  17. ... Wow, how bad do the Raiders look tonight? Art Shell still can't coach. And Aaron Brooks looked like Mel Brooks. One more note: Merriman is a beast.
  18. You can't. Impossible. I don't care who says they can do it--its just not real. Real Buffalo wings always come from a deep fryer. I used to have a Fry Daddy deep fryer, those work well and you can easily cook them outside (deck) or a garage. Lat year, in preparation for some of us to tailgate at a Bills game, I bought a Turkey Fryer. It was the greatest 40 bucks I ever spent. Go to target and look for it. It is the one with a propane hook up. This way you can use it outside and notsmell up your house - justuse your grill's propane tank. It comes with a basket and stand. I can also put it on my range (I have a big range with hood in my kitchen - but outside is best). Once hot, a couple pounds of wings take around 30 mins. This option is so much better than those plastic, kitchen-ready little fryers. If you are making wings, you MUST do it right. Hope this helps.
  19. and the lack of respect they give the Bills. Just remember, they know less about the NFL than most of us. Case in point: last night's game, or picking the Cardinals the past 3 years to be contenders, always saying the Pats aren't going to be good (and I hate disagreeing with this one..), etc... Just ignore it. Every other post, every day, is either: "Should we pick up [insert waived/cut player] and "look what [insert idiot ESPN/FOX, etc commentator] said about us.....Its just plain annoying. Let's talk about the game, what we expect from the boys, and let's get pumped because NFL Season in BACK, BITCHES!!!
  20. Thanks to the media, especially ESPN and all theit talking heads, the line in the PITT-MIAMI plummeted this week - down to a pick. And anyone that can look through the BS could realize that Pitt was at least a TD favorite. They have a great D, a very good O-line and Dante just isn't a great QB without Moss (look at his stats last year before his injury). The game shouldn't have been as close as it was (damn, that Welker can play - he single-handedly kept Miami in it). Much obliged. And, I love to see Miami lose!!! Go Bills!!!!!
  21. It may be worth it if he's giving you the points.
  22. He made such an impression on you that you forgot his name! Nice.
  23. Hey, fat girls need lovin' too!!
  24. Does Holcomb have the ability to throw farther than 3 yards on 3rd and long? What happened to this guy? He was a gunslinger in Cle.
  25. I hope it is Shelton, because we really need him to continue with his 2-yard swing pass plays inside the redzone....very effective last year.
