  1. Didn't Rush get the chance first?
  2. An article from the Pittsburgh paper saying the Steelers won't get Poz, means the Steelers want to get Poz. These spin articles are getting more and more obvious.
  3. Ill take that bet. 100.
  4. Id love to have him in a Bills uniform next year. Also, I tend to think certain teams (and I hope the Bills are one of them so they fall to him or in trade range for him) may be hyping up the "damaged goods" angle. An ankle and collar bone injury aren't that bad. Remember Thurman Thomas when he was coming out? He had a serious knee injury and look how he turned out. I think AP can be a special back, and Id love him as a Bill.
  5. Damn!!! Too bad im out of town. That sounds like a hoot. Frank Reich, Chad Pennington, Tony Dungy. Does the fun ever..start???
  6. It looks like pick 50 is worth 400 - maybe both our thirds would do it.
  7. Thanks, but it wasn't specifically addressed. You said it would take a trade of firsts and another pick. What other pick is worth 400 points??
  8. Trade first round picks with Redskins? I would love the Bills to draft Peterson. I think he's the second or third best player in the draft and could be the top RB in the past couple years. I think he may be available at 6, and here's why: Raiders will trade for a QB, either with Det for McCown, GB for Rodgers or maybe take a second round qb - their pick is #1 player in draft: Calvin Johnson. Detriot will take JaMarcus Russel, and Cleveland will take Ohio-boy Brady Quinn. Now, it gets interesting. Tampa needs defense and will likely go after G. Adams. Arizona, where a possible destination for AP, will have to take Joe Thomas, since OT is a pressing need for them. Therefore, I think AP could be available at 6. And since the Skins only have 1 pick the first day (and only 1 til the 5th round), we'll need to stock pile picks and wont want AP.
  9. I forogt about that....lol.
  10. ..their site has been really good this off-season on reporting news, notes and signings. Plus, they've had some really funny postings. They hate Pastabelly as much as we do (not only becuase he's a hack, but because he's a plagerist, too...and constantly reference this interview he had: http://www.profootballtalk.com/LenCut.mp3 ) Not to mention, they really stuck up for the Bills after the ESPN "on-the-clock" segment last sunday. And for that, I commend them. And, finally, they have some great nicknames. Favorite: "eyeball" for Stuart Scott.
  11. Just seeing if we had scouts there. I have a funny feeling Fairchild likes Ginn.
  12. Yeah, but 2 of the games are NFLN games that nobody watches and whose coverage is absolutely terrible.
  13. I don't think it was "prime time" I think it was National Games. Which would include the national sunday afternoon games.
  14. Hey Andy, how ya been?
  15. Wow, I stand corrected. And happy i was wrong. But we still could get more games.
  16. I know, but I am assuming as much.
  17. ...if we play well, we would have a good chance of getting on Sunday Night Football (NBC) during the flex scchedule part of the season.
  18. If we got Turner - let's say for the 2nd round pick - I would be happy with that draft.
  19. Am I so biased, as a Bills fan, that I take such issue with these guys? I just saw the piece on ESPN too. Do these guys even watch Bills games? Or do they just look at highlights? Because if they did watch the games last year, they would see that the only serious loss we had was Nate. And there is no way in hell we were going to resign him due to his free agent value. London was too small and not a difference maker at the LOS. Spikes was nowhere near his play 3-4 years earlier (and never will be due both to his injury and his age), and Willis was a constant underachecive that failed to properly pick up the blitz or even learn the playbook. If we trade and sign for Turner (which I think we will) and then draft a MLB (Willis/Poz), we address and UPGRADE two out of three of the positions we are being killed for losing in FA. And this will likely be after the FIRST ROUND ONLY. Think of what we can do with our other draft pick. Also, with AY, we have a sericebale replacement for Nate. I know everyone wants to talk NFL all year long (ESPN, etc..), but how can you properly assess a team at this point in the year, prior to the end of FA, before the draft and even before June 1 cuts??? ESPN really does a terrible job assessing teams in the NFL. If you look over the past couple years as to their "expert picks" most are dead wrong. And I hope they are again with the Bills - cuz remember, last year at this time weren't we scheduled to be picking Brady Quinn with our first pick???
  20. Here's a fact you may not know about Ralph and planes. He was the third, lesser known Wright brother.
  21. Yes. I personally guarantee it.
  22. Very good point. Our first game against them was great. He made Denney look like Bruce Smith.
  23. When did Michael Smith become an NFL expert? Wasn't he a local sports guy in Boston til he started going on "Around the Horn"? All he does is regurgitate rumors from online sites (like PFT, KFFL, etc) and give his crappy opinions.
  24. Prior to the injury (Iowa State game), Patrick only had 18 carries in 6 games -13 of which were in one game (in a 59-0 blowout), zero carries in 2 games, 1 carrier in 1 game, and 2 carries in 2 games. And in the bowl game AP had 2/3rds of the carriers after his injury. So, your point dosen't hold much water.
