I feel that way too. I think's its the "smart guy" vibe I get from Russ Brandon. He seems to be part of the new generation of young, intelligent, business-savy GMs in all sports, not just football.

I wouldn't mind Thomas later, but the value isn't there at 11 - especially with the continued inflation of draft pick salaries each year.

Starting at noon (im on the west coast) I will be sitting in front of my new 50" HDTV with some wings (im deep frying out back baby!), chips and dip, and my laptop (to talk with all of you degenerates). I will continue my guarantee that our Bills WILL NOT pick a WR, let alone Devin Thomas, at #11. If we stay at 11, look for CB or D-Line. I love how all the Mock Drafts and ESPN talking heads influence who we like. Two months ago nobody here wanted Thomas nor thought he was even close to a top 15 pick. Now he's the apple of many on this board's eye. I think Buffalo will try and trade down or take the best defensive player available.

NO WAY. Gholston is not a value. He is overrated due to his "Mamula" combine numbers. A lot of NFL personnel have him rated as a second round talent.
