  1. I think the bills made a mistake in picking byrd over everette brown who was still available. Imagine the pass rush, him lined up at de and maybin at outside linebacker. Plus, schoebel is not getting any younger. Just my two cents...
  2. Is alex smith from the bucs any good? SI is reporting that the bucs are looking to trade him? Is he worth looking at or another robert royal clone?
  3. Can someone tell me why the bears get 5 prime time games this upcoming season? They suck. They had good amount last season too. Whoever devised the schedule should be taken out back and clubbed over the head with a billy club.
  4. My picks: Brandon Pettigrew Everette Brown William Beatty
  5. I don't see any other option besides drafting Michael Oher at 11. I do like him, plus character wise fits the Bills well. Thoughts?
  6. DirecTV is garbage. I live in a tall house outside NYC with no obstructions. The satilite would always go out after a rain storm and HD channels never worked. I constantly had service guy on the roof repositioning the damn thing. Switched to Verizon Fios and trust me the best decision I made, esp now with the current promotion. Better picture, better service and being able to watch record shows on multiple tvs is great. Keeps my girlfriend away from the main tv and watch her shows on the secondary tv.
  7. Too short? Remember london fletcher? Raw lewis is only 6 ft, why don't you guys tell him he is too short and play strong safety. Freddy is a beast. He is young and has only scratched the surface. Great addition and would rather have him than cato june.
  8. Ownes to the bills, why not? He likes to be the center of attention and make a splash. What better way to make heads turn by signing with a small market team in the middle of nowhere ? Furthermore, he is at the end of his career and probably wants to exit on a good note. Why not prove to everyone that money is not the issue and that he loves the game and is a good teammate. Playing in buffalo would help build his case. His signing would be beneficial to both sides. The bills top management must know that their fan base is upset and season tickets are down. What better way to light a fire under the current mess then to bring in a high profile player like owens. I don't care what people say, the fans will be very excited which translates into ticket sales. Let's face it, he would be a beast on offense and help get points on the board.
  9. 2nd rounder? In that case, no.
  10. Good find. I agree.
  11. Reggie Williams has the most upside, still young and huge target. I think he needs change of scenery. He's my pick. Others to consider are koren robinson and ronald curry.
  12. Bills need a possession type receiver who knows how to get open and work the middle. I think coles fits the mold. At the right price he would be a great addition and provide trent with great weapon. He is 2 receiver who could adjust to being the 1 receiver if evans got hurt. Hopefully, hardy can get his act together down the road. Remember, it took moulds 3 seasons or so to develope into a player.
  13. To all season ticket holders, do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. Why waste your hard earned money on a crap product. Bills fans deserve more than this! Just disgusting...
  14. Totally agree. This is the worst decision ever, to keep such a bum as head coach after continuous failure. Like I said before, the Bills will never compete unless that old worthless piece of sh*t dies!
  15. The blind leading the blind. The whole organization is garbage. What do you expect from an old and pathetic fool? At this stage I prefer to have tom donahue than the crap that is making decisions. The bills will be at the bottom of the barrel until either wilson chocks on a chicken bone or the team gets sold. Let's face it, sub 500 performance for the next few years.
  16. Besides losing and having management make bonehead moves, the only thing consistent over the years is great special teams play. We can agree that bobby april is the reason behind that. He knows how to motivate his players and puts them in a position to succeed. If the bills roll the dice on a cheap alternative, I'd rather have him than a positional coach from another team. In regards to Tomlin, he seems like a badazz who unlike jauron will beat some heads. I can't comment on his actual coaching, don't know enough about him. I'm sure he is much better than the garbage on the bills sideline. I do think tomlin inherited a great team and the arguement can be made that its easier to hide mistakes with talent. If that is the case with tomlin, I don't know. Jauron, unfortunately, doesn't have that luxary and hence has been a total bust.
  17. Every time there is a post about brining in a new coach somebody mentions that raheem morris guy. Maybe its the same dude suggesting him? I don't know too much about the guy, he's probably a good position coach. But the guy hasn't even been a coordinator yet. Its like asking an analyst to take on a senior vice president role at a firm without being an associate. Maybe there have been some successes in the nfl in hiring positional coaches but I'm sure the failures outweigh them. My vote is either bobby april or bring in an offensive minded guy with head coaching experience. The offense is a damn disgrace and needs to be revamped!
  18. Great, another two years of garbage. Jauron and his coaches (besides April) are bums. Wilson is an old fool for letting this happen. The Bills will be the joke of the nfl for years to come.
  19. His knee injury looks pretty serious. Any thoughts on the injury? Sprain or worse ACL?
  20. I have been reading that players will react poorly if Jauron gets fired. First off, Jauron is a player's coach so off course the players will be upset. Let's face it, players for the most part enjoy less rules and easier practises. He holds practise sessions indoors for heaven's sake. He is turning the players soft and this is becoming a huge problem on the field. They need an ass kickin rather than an ass leakin' from gutless Jauron, Consistency is obviously a cocnern. What has worked for the Bills the past few years? Special teams. Why? Bobby April is the reason and he would make the most sense to replace Jauron. Levy had a special teams background as well. He will come cheap which would make pathetic wilson happy. April is a great motivator and pushes his players, hence the great results over the years. He reacts and yells but also gets excited rather than stand there and pick his nose like jauron. For the players sake, he will also provide the consistency rather than a total makeover which could set the Bills back (even though I don't agree with that arguement as well). Wilson will never pay for a hotshot coach. I would rather have April than some supposed up and coming coordinator or staffer who will stink the place up like gregg williams or mike mularky. The bills already have the guy in the organization.
  21. Weren't mularkey and williams hidden gems, endorsed by players, etc.? That has been the problem, the Bills (with the exeption of gutless jauron) target positional coaches who have no head coaching experience. Jauron may have been a head coach but he stunk and levy missed the ball in hiring such a bum. Maybe levy was part of that yale "thing", who knows? It takes more than being a great coach to manage a nfl team. Yes, maybe its a pipe dream that a proven winner will get hired, hence the only way the bills will probably be successful again if the team is sold or wilson has a sort of rebirth at his old age.
  22. No thanks. Tampa 2 style defense is crap. I want the bills to install a 3-4 base defense. Plus, I'm tired of the bills getting these guys with no head coaching experience. Wilson needs to suck it up and start paying for coaching talent!
  23. Nothing to be embarassed about? What are you smoking because it must be real good? You should be embarassed for posting such nonsense. On primetime at home the Bills lost to a team with a losing record. Trent threw three interceptions in the first quarter and then plays like a pu*sy the rest of the game. Evans had zero catches! A backup rb ran for a 75 yard tocuhdown against the Bills defense. Dick "gutless" Jauron once again managed a poor game and showed no emotion throughout. Then he makes the decision to settle for a 47 yard kick into the win. The only guys that showed any heart and desire to win were Lynch and McKelvin. Without those two guys they would have been blown out. Unfortunately, this franchise is an embarassment thanks to Ralph Wilson.
  24. Why would anybody feel sorry for that old man? He's a cheap son of a b*tch who has been the sole reason for the Bill's current demise. In order to run a successful business you have to put money into it. He failed by continuously hiring cheap coaches and ironically fired Wade Philips who was the last one to get the Bills into the playoffs. .
  25. Cleveland had no push rush so why do you think miami and kc are winnable games? Miami actually has a pass rush, remember porter who greeted edwards multiple times. KC is tough at home and playing very well. They actually have a coach who hasn't quit on the team. Gore in SF will torch the defense. There are no winnable games. Jauron has in fact quit and is the worst coach in the nfl. As long as he is implements his gutless coaching style, this team will be closer to 5-11.
