  1. I know some Michigan fans and they tell me that Woodley has the potential but at times really disappears. Sometimes they question his desire. I don't know anything about Moss.
  2. Doubt it. They have Tavares Jackson that they invested a 2nd rounder in. I see him either in Oakland or possibly even Cleveland if they don't have faith in Frye.
  3. Boy Crayonz according to himself would like to field a team of runningbacks. The guy kills me lol.
  4. Isn't he ALSO on the Willis bandwagon? You have to get Willis in there somehow!!!! Seriously how old is LSI. Because if he is a youngster I will feel really bad for ripping on him. edit: LSI is 17 years old according to his profile. Is he mentally challenged?
  5. Yeah but Modrak isn't even in Buffalo half the time anymore. Besides I don't see anything wrong with the Bills signings compared to market value. You can't compare a contract that was signed three years ago to the kind of money that is being thrown around now.
  6. Yes that number has been tossed around here for months now. I too believe that he can be a force on the Bills. Will he average that 6.3 through a full year. Heck no. But can he still average more than 4 yards a carry that we have been accustomed to seeing in our backs. I believe so. But right now the price seems a tad bit high. If we can get rid of a third this year and a conditional third next year I would be very happy. But a first is pretty hard to swallow. Unless like I said before he turns into a 1500+ rusher that is a scoring machine.
  7. Tom Donahoe came to my mind lol.
  8. Why would we give a pick to the titans? By the way there is no way Briggs comes here. For cap reasons and attitude reasons. No way in the world could we afford Briggs, Turner, and draft picks. It will be hard enough if Marv really likes Turner to fit him under with rookies. Releasing Spikes helped though.
  9. For anyone who wants to question whether this is JPs team or not......go watch his interviews on BB.com The kid just beams leadership and just the way he presents himself shows me that this is his team. This is not the same JP going into last season.
  10. Touchy? I don't care lol I was just putting that out there because I wasn't sure if anyone knew that yet. I wasn't trying to act like a know it all or touchy.
  11. Shelton is not even on the team. He is a UFA. I know they show him on the depth chart but he is not on team as of right now.
  12. I was just going to post the same thing. The guy carries the pile.
  13. Actually there are reports of attitude problems with other team mates. I have to hunt down the quotes though. Stay tuned...... Psst.....your a Bills fan with a ravens jersey in your avatar. Says it all to me.
  14. Well now he is Domanick Williams. Name change. He is just as injury prone as Brown is. Again I think Marv is done with the RB spot unless a trade for Turner happens before the draft. Which as a fan I'm still wrestling with as if I want him. I mean I want him. But for what price? I don't want to give up that #12 spot for him.
  15. I'm just thankful that we have Ko Simpson instead of Vincent. Troys tackling was horrid. It was almost like he didn't want to tackle them. Ko on the other hand was laying the wood. Ko was really hitting people last year. Plus he covers a huge amount of area because of his long legs and big stride. Its going to be exciting to watch these young players grow.
  16. He won't fit into any other defense. He is going to be a career backup now. Trust me he has been horrible since his injury and release from Baltimore.
  17. Agreed it drives me nuts. I know Packer fans that are climbing walls right now. Its stupid. Just because your team isn't making blockbuster moves or moves at all doesn't mean that there going to suck. The draft is the most important of them all as far as building a team.
  18. No way. He was horrible with the Falcons. Another reason why Ray Lewis makes everyone look better. He was overated coming into FA a couple years back and his production with Atlanta proved that. Another reason why I'm not scared of Adalius Thomas at all.
  19. Well looking at the other picks right now.....Whitner is one of the few that was slated to go around us that played very well his rookie year. Him and Simpson were rock solid back there for most of the year. They played that Cover 2 very well towards the end of the year. Just like Bob Sanders and Bethea.......they didn't give up the big plays and thats what this defense is all about. If teams want to grab four yards on the run here and there than we will let them. But big plays against us will be few and far between. Whitner proved to me that he was worth that pick. Ngata would not fit this scheme, bunkley is a loser so far, Leinhart wasn't even an option and neither was Cutler. Everyone keeps saying that they should have traded back but come on. There are no guarentees. Again the Bills got the player that they wanted. If we could have done something better as far as moving around I'm sure we would be employeed by the league now. Why people are still hung up with Whitner at #8 is mindboggling to me. Its the year 2007 people.
  20. Spikes may have a great year though. Who knows. He is going to a scheme where he was a pro-bowler in Buffalo. The Bills just are not a blitzing team anymore and thats what Spikes was good at. So even if Spikes has a pro-bowl year coming off that injury it doesn't mean that he would do the same here. Cover 2 demands discipline and adhering to your assignments. The zone blitzing scheme is more of a balls out type of defense where the LBers attack the line of scrimmage. Thats why I think Ellison could have a monster year. He is perfect for what we want our Backers to do. To answer the posters question, will we miss Spikes and Fletcher? Well this is a two way answer. Leadership on the field and locker room.....yes. On the field play.....no. Double edge sword I guess. But new leaders will arise this year, its just a matter of time. Personally I think Crowell is ready to take the bull by the horns. I love his energy.
  21. I don't think they will get ripped for it. Landry is a top 5 prospect by some. The guy is a monster. I love Whitner and I never hated taking him at #8 but Landry is a much better pro prospect.
  22. Lavar is also a HUGE me type player. Look at what he did in Washington by ignoring how his coaches wanted him to play. I would rather have Digorio (sp?) playing out there than Arrington.
  23. I really like Lynch but for some reason I don't get the Marv feel about him. Just look at our roster. Does a person like Lynch fit in with this blu-collared well spoken group? I have been fighting it for a while because I really like Lynch but I just don't think he will fit in so to speak. My gut is starting to tell me Michael Turner. With Marv keeping all his first day picks this year. He will find a way to get it done.
  24. In the end Marv will give up Baltimores 3rd rounder this year and a conditional pick next year. To me that is fair.
  25. I agree Coach. I don't mind the wise cracks and jokes every once in a while. But you can guarentee that everytime you open a thread that there will be at least two cracks. Its tiresome and frankly isn't funny. I'm as big of a smart butt as there is, but theres a point where your making yourself look like your 13 years old and not an adult. Its like the kid who tells a funny joke and everyone laughs...........so he keeps doing it over and over until its overkill. That kid is no longer funny. I have been to this board on and off for five years and its definately gotten worse. Anyway back to football talk.
