In a way yes....in a way no. Just have that feeling is all. Thankfully my feelings aren't always right 100% of the time. Getting a big time QB in this league is pretty tough. Not many around that can take a team from average to super bowl contender. But like Cincy said...guess we have to work with what we have. The chances of Trent becoming a Montana, Kelly, Brady, or even a Boomer are slim. Makes me mad when I see people posting that Trent reminds them up some HOF QBs or future HOFers. I used to be a fan that was optimistic every year going into the season but this playoff drought has take a toll on me. I'm now a wait and see type of guy.

I just don't see Trent as a QB that can put up 200+ yards a game and do the things you ask Eball. I see him along the lines of Boller, McCown, Carr, etc....that do nothing but put up those 125 yard days. I want what everyone else wants.....a QB that can make big plays and put more than just 17 points up on the board. Sick of waiting......

I wish I had some of you guys excitement about Trent. Have a feeling its going to be one of those 9-18, 110 yards, 1 TD years this year. Not a JP fan either. Just sick of this rotating QB crap since Kelly. I have no confidence at all in any of our QBs to get the job done on a CONSISTENT basis. Unless Marshawn and Freddy bring there A+ game on a weekly basis we are in some serious crap this year. Another 7-9 wins this year. Blah. Until Trent proves otherwise he is just another game manager to wear a Buffalo Bills uniform at the QB position.

Roscoe led the league last year in Punt return average and some of you think he may get cut? You all are crazy. Thats like saying Hester may get cut because he isn't a productive receiver for the Bears.

Bust lol? Yeah whatever. The guy had a pretty darn good season rotating in last year. Give the man more snaps and his numbers are right up there with the good starting DTs of this league. 29 tackles and 2.5 sacks coming off the bench as a DT are not bust numbers. The kid should be starting.

Still can't understand why McCargo isn't starting to begin with. He was the best D-lineman on the team last year.

Correct. I'm sick of being let down. I'm excited don't get me wrong. Just going on a "Wait and See" approach this year. If Trent does the same stuff as last year along with our run defense than we are in trouble once again. Actually really shocked at how many season tickets have been sold this year. Maybe others see a lot more in Trent than I do. But nothing about him excites me. Kind of like a mini-Holcombe to me. Hopefully that changes and he makes huge steps this year. But I'm not holding my breath.

Not a JP or a Trent fan. Just making that clear. Where is all the Trent love coming from? He played "okay" for a rookie. But if we really think that he is going to beat some of the powerhouse teams in the AFC to get us to the playoffs....than we are all drinking the cool aid. I just don't see it. For the first time ever I am not optimistic about this team. Maybe thats a good thing though since its been how many years since a playoff berth.

Our TEs are going to suck just like they have for the past 10 years. I'm through believing that we can use them correctly.

If memory serves me right he never made it out of training camp. I don't think he ever was on the roster to start the year. Who cares?

Some say he could be a top 10 pick after running a 4.38 with the injury still nagging him. I don't agree but some team like the Vikes could still nab him in the top 10.

I'm a Bills fan all the way and nothign more. I leave about 20 miles south of Buffalo. Everyone comes in talking about how great the sabres are and I have to tell them that I honestly really don't care. They look at me like I'm smoking crack or something. Just not into hockey and I don't have cable or the dish to watch the games anyway. I'm a misfit.

I want nothing to do with him. Way too big to be an effective runner. The Jerome Bettis's of this world are very few. Bush isn't even in the same league as far as college production goes and on top of that he has missed a lot of time because of injury. Waste a 4th rounder on him? Heck no.

The good Lord picked a bad day for it to snow here in the Western NY area lol. I don't know what its doing in OP or Buffalo but I live 30 miles south of the city and were really getting a good amount of snow. Coming from a nice day in Tennessee to this may not be the most appealing thing. Thankfully its the Chargers who have the keys to where Turner ends up and not Turner himself.

I agree. I could go for a McGahee for Turner trade. That would make me happy.

Even if a contract is worked out it will mean nothing unless SD pulls the trade. The Bills could offer a monster contract (just to prove my point) and he wouldn't be able to sign it unless SD was going to go through with a trade and agree to the Bills parameters.

I don't know who has suggested that. Most people on here do not think that. Most realize that the Chargers will not be taking that #12 pick in a trade for Turner. I still think we can pry him away for a #3
