ha ha ha ha Did someone see Mike Williams playing LT for KC last night.

Its not an excuse....its fact. Funny that you noticed that about the game last night but couldn't get the two teams right in your other post.

Again all run blocking is going to look horrible when the other team is run blitzing all game long. There are only so many people you can block. Hopefully this line will continue to gel and we can address other needs in the first couple rounds of the draft. Pennington played very well. He was in position all day. Still not sure about Preston though. Gandy actually came through and was a beast on short yardage downs. Peters is Peters. Another great game for him.

Amen. I think that and getting a bigger WR opposite of Lee Evans is the most important need on this offense right now.

You do know that the A-train was averaging over 100 yards the past two games and Willis was also leading the AFC in rushing when he was playing. Again they were run blitzing a lot today. When you have guys just rushing and blitzing the gaps than your not going to go far. I think A-train played solid and picked up some good tough yards. The running game is the least of our worries. The only thing that I would have concerns is the running game in the redzone this season but besides that I just don't see your point.

NFL.com has nothing about Evans on the front page of there website. But Chad Johnson is up there. I'm not one for getting mad at the national media for not getting respect but this is the last draw after seeing no highlights or mention of Evans during halftime of last nights game. The man put up the 11th best yardage game in the history of the NFL and no mention of it. Crazy.

Swearing and vulger language is classeless. Smokin let me guess you work at a smoke shop. Sure I drop an f-bomb every once in a while when something falls on my foot or what not. But vulgar language is very much frowned upon at my work place. Of coarse we serve the public so thats a plus.

Oakland is a totally different team this year than last. Lots of players left last year along with a worse coaching staff coming in. They are a mess. At least we have some pieces in place. I love our rookies and second year players. Its just going to take some time here.

I will agree though that Travis had a bigger set of nads to stay on the field when he did. Guy does leave it all out on the field. I wouldn't play with a rib injury or a fracture in my leg so I can't blame Willis for not doing it either. Travis was just either too dumb or too stubborn to come out. Either way the guy played his balls off. I will agree with you there.

I agree. I like Willis but now is the time where we see if he is everything that he thinks he is. If Anthony Thomas starts ripping off some solid games than its time to see what the trade market has to offer Willis next year and draft another back in the 3rd round or so.

This topic has been beaten to death. I too was a huge Henry fan and loved what he brought to this team as far as toughness went. But its time to move on. Our gameplan didn't change. Thomas still got his 20 carries. Probably Willis may have received a couple more if he was playing. Does it matter? Nope. Henry is not a Bill and Willis is. Time to move on.

Hey Kelly was a jackass too but looks all nice on TV and such. I remember going to a taping of his show back in the day. Our little league football team was in the crowd. Some of us got up to go to use the restroom and Kelly went nuts on us. Screaming to sit our butts down and that we can wait.........Then the cameras started to roll and he was all smiles. I remember thinking that he had split personalities. Point is that most pros are not the people that we think they are. I believe this Bledsoe story. Fits into what I have experienced.

Hey I never said that I like being what we are. Some people always go with the scenarios to try and make us sound better. But we can also do the same thing to make us sound worse.

Funny how some people complain about the lines and this and that. Do you not think that some big name FA lineman just do not want to come to our city? Its not the most exciting NFL city out there. We have brought people in here during the past couple offseasons. Its just that they don't want to sign here. You guys act like they sit around on there arses and don't even talk to lineman. Look at this years draft. Half are lineman. What lineman was available to take at Whitners spot this year that you would have liked to seen on your team? NONE.

Actually if you want to look at it the other way, we should be 1-6 as well if Marcus Robinson would have come down with that wide open bomb in the Vikings game. We are what we are.............2-5. My pick for the year was 6-10 at the beginning of the year and there right on schedule.

Yeah those three TD passes to Evans in Miami was nothing to talk about huh. Guess thats not potential.
