"Granted the jury is still out on Matt Schaub but thus far he has been a bit of a disappointment in Houston and let’s just say that the odds aren’t in his favor."
Really? He led the league in passing yards this season, was 5th in TDs and 7th in rating. I wish that disappointment was on our team.
As for his numbers, 2 of the 14 QBs drafted since 2001 made the Pro Bowl this season. Not that bad.
And the reason he started counting from 1992? Brett Favre was a second-rounder in 1991.

Bills were picked to go 2-14 this season by Bill Simmons and 3-13 by Gregg Easterbrook.
-
Saying how difficult it is to plan against is a lot different then saying he can't figure it out.
Really? Why?

I'm not a Chicken Little type, but the fact that Gailey's most consistent rationale for the 3-4 switch is that he has been unable to figure out the defense himself is not very reassuring.

For when the mods delete the originial post for copyright violations, it's just a restatement of what Bob Matthews wrote this morning in the D&C.

The person who wrote this mentioned the free agency period, and really might not know that Whitner is under contract. This leads me to question the specific scenario, but Lil Donte will probably be gone imo.
I think all that means is that trades can happen at the start of the new NFL year, which is March 5th, also when free agency begins.

Cleveland and Tampa Bay, two teams drafting third and seventh, were ahead.
Indy and New Orleans were 28th and 29th. So, take it for what it's worth.

You know, if you care about such things.

Do you honestly think the players of the 60s and 70s were saints?
Do what your father did: leave that stuff out.

unless it comes from him or his agent, anything else is just speculation
I'd bet you it is from his agent.
Unfortunatly for Mcnabb its not his choice, the Eagles own his ass and a free to trade him wherever, Maybe we can obtain the rights to him and trade him for something better alla Darwin Walker.Unless he has a no-trade clause, of course.
-
Jason Campbell is a restricted free agent, and his rights can be traded.

Thank you, Steely. I owe you a cookie.

According to PFT, Mayock's top five by position is scrolling across the bottom of NFL Network. Can someone who has the channel post some positions, like OT and QB?
-
speaking of short. after this game played by short brees, any1 still thinks colt mccoy is too short?
I never did before, seeing as he's listed at 6'3. Now you make me wonder...

In 217 days.
Go Bills!

You guys let the OP off too easily. In times past we could have made Debbie Driscoll out to be some as yet to be discovered offensive playcalling genius and driven the OP insane. I miss the old TSW characters sometimes. Better to be kind I guess.
GO BILLS!!!
Welcome to the kinder, gentler TBD.

Whaley first worked for the Steelers while Gailey was still there.
His media guide bio:
Simon, you've got more of an "in" with the Stillers than I do. What else can you tell us about him?
Doesn't your info suggest that they didn't overlap?
Gailey left in 1998 to be come Cowboys head coach.
Whaley only started ten years ago, so 1999-2000.
Edit: unless that media guide is a few years old.

Can we all calm down about Cowher dissing the Bills? I wanted him as much as anyone on the board, but he has turned down other teams, too, including the Jets last year coming off a 9-7 season.
-
Really, he's everyone's No. 1.
Does Mayock say if the Bills should pick Clausen at 9?

amen. nothing pisses me off more than overhyped viewer numbers. In fact i think the miss universe pageant says that a billion people watch or something ridiculous. The World Cup probably gets some pretty impressive numbers, but even that is probably not what they say.
Nothing?
According to Wikipedia, 600 million watched it.

Nawrocki's mock had Pierre-Paul going third overall. You think he'll be available in the second round? That's a move you'd have to make, then.

Ralph's daughter who lived in Englewood died last year. So either this is an old story or completely made-up.
