LOL! That's great and not too off the mark except that there wasn't enough blue language in it. Do you want to hear something funny? I actually ended my rant with a hallelujah but decided against it and erased it just before I hit the "add reply" button.

Trust me, I didn't use symbols, they were automated.

It sure as hell looks like that. I guess I had that sick feeling deep in the pit of my stomach but I didn't want to admit it too. I don't know too much about the brains and balls thing but I do know that he has a backbone. !@#$ing A-right, you can say that again. Now, I was at work and just got a chance to look over this board. I haven't read anything from anywhere else. I'm just reading this thread mostly and some titles on the front page but I want to say something now that this mess is over with. !@#$ JASON PETERS! He doesn't want to play in Buffalo??!! Good, get the !@#$ out of here. Go play for that fat piece of sh-- Andy Reid, you both deserve each other. When no one wanted Peters, we signed him. We put him at RT and paid him good and paid him fast. This piece of sh-- is a !@#$ing weirdo who is all about himself and didn't give two sh!ts about !@#$ing up our season last year. He can go !@#$ himself for all I care. What happen to signing a contract and honoring it??? Oh, I know, he deserves more for the position switch. Fine, I don't have a problem with that. The problem I have is the way that he went about it. He doesn't want to play in Buffalo. Why, we're not good enough for him? Screw you, get the !@#$ out of here. And all you whiny bitches, what, are you stupid??? You want to cry because we traded him? You should be celebrating and pissed off at the same time! Be joyous that this selfish piece of sh-- is gone and be pissed that for over a year he could give a sh-- about you, his teammates and this organization. He did nothing but sabotaged this team and our season. Beat it! I like this Brandon more and more as time goes on! He's more like Polian than what he gets credit for. The guy rolled up his sleeves and went toe to toe with this malcontent piece of sh-- and it looks like not only did he send a message loud and clear but he also is not going to put up with all these either overpaid players or the underachievers. He is ALL about Buffalo and ALL about us! Don't badmouth this guy, embrace him! I could go on and on right now because I got this cold anger but I won't. The fans of this organization need to get their heads out of their @$$e$ and get in line. Quit second guessing every freaking thing that Brandon is doing. He's taking charge and not backing up an inch. Before anyone starts with that "oh we haven't been to the play-offs and we keep on replacing our guys" sh--, let me just state the obvious. This is Brandon's first season and opportunity to take charge and be accountable and THAT'S exactly what he is doing. I don't loathe him, I applaud him. Now go ahead and blast me and say all the nasty sh-- to me and about me but enough is enough. This guy and team is finally taking shape and setting down the law and I love it!

The Bills did what was best for the organization. This will send a clear message to the rest of the players that we will not be blackmailed when it comes to contracts. I don't like the that we lost Peters but I also don't like when players sign a valid contract and then become disruptive until they get a new one. Here's a question I'd be curious about. When Peters was signed to his current contract, if he underperformed, do you think that he would have still sat out? Look on the bright side. We got a 1st rder, 4th rder, and a future late rder all for an UDFA. That's a heck of a lot more appreciation than this rotten economy has been. Sold! TO gets badmouthed but at least the guy is wanting to be productive. Peters on the otherhand is all about himself. Good riddance.

The draft is a crapshoot and to be able to take the best player at their position will most definitely increase the odds of being successful. The Bills are in the right slots in the first two rds to be able to take not one but two players who are projected to be the best at their position in TE Brandon Pettigrew and OG Duke Robinson. These two positions are also positions of need for the Bills. As far as a pass rusher goes, I'm all for trading one of our picks (3 rd rder?) for someone like DL Aaron Kampman. This would leave LB as the most pressing need at this time.

Maybe the Bills are seriously considering Pettigrew...

I have to agree with this thinking. I'm ready to do a 180 on my thinking with what the Bills should do with their 1st pick. I've been of the mindset that it should be a DE, most likely Maybin, but getting the best player at their position is starting to be more sensible and attractive, especially that we could stand to bolster the TE position and Pettigrew's skill sets seem to favor our type of offense. This is interesting. Believe it or not I haven't heard anything about this whole scenario. Could you shed more light on that situation? Thank. -
Here's a little something for you JuanGuzman on Runyan. it's quick and towards the bottom of the article but Philly is definitely keeping an eye on Runyan's progress. Hmm, that's interesting. There is also some other Eagles' blurps from today's article. GM Tom Heckert came right out and said that he thinks that the Eagles can move into the top 10 without giving up both first-round picks. I wonder why he thinks that.

If the Bills were to trade Jason Peters and drafted a OT
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got to hand it to you, that's a very interesting take on the Peters saga. If that were to really happen, and not that it would, then he would be one of the higher paid TEs in the league. The irony would be that he'd still not be the highest paid TE. LOL! On another note, Peters is scheduled to be a FA in 2011, the uncapped year. -
If reports are somewhat accurate and Peters wants 11+ million dollars per year then for a 5 year contract it should be 56 million dollars over the course of the whole contract. Looking back at the last 2 drafts here's what the #11 pick were paid. 2008-Leodis McKelvin-5 year-19.4 million 2007-Patrick Willis-5 year-16.655 million Taking the inflation in consideration for 2009 then a 5 year contract should be in the neighborhood of 22+ million dollars. Although I'm not sure if the position dictates the dollars in a contract but it still doesn't alter the fact that there is a HUGE difference in what Peters wants and what a OT taken with the 11th pick would be. As much as I don't want the Bills to trade Peters keep in mind that first and foremost that the NFL is a business.

Rotoworld reports that JP Losman has received no known

Garcia, Leftwich, Rosenthal and even Boller signed with other teams BEFORE the draft but you want to call me out? Beat it, the proof is in the pudding. -

Stop, sob, sob, I can't take it! Alright, let me throw more salt on the wound. How about the purging Donahoe did when he took over?! How many of our good players did he waive or just let walk during his tenure? I blame the Pittsburgh Steelers for this! They let him come up here to destroy us. -
I shouldn't have said anything because I'm no expert. It's your thread and I shouldn't have undermined it. I do applaud the suggestion but I also think that Runyan might be done or at least should be. If I'm not mistaken his medical clearance is still pending and that I think is why the Eagles and Runyan haven't decided his future. Even if he is cleared to play I wouldn't expect him to be the Runyan of old, not even close. We can and will do better IMO.

yeah, if he had knees. If I recall correctly a couple of years back there was some interest but he wanted no part of it. He's fiercely loyal to Philly. Something to do with the wife and kids, he didn't want to uproot them.

I'll say this just to debate a point. I'm saying that what I'm about to discuss is necessarily accurate but it doesn't mean that it isn't. While Lynch is a Pro Bowl RB he still isn't an Adrian Peterson either. In hindsight of him getting into trouble and being just a strike away from a serious suspension, it's reason for concern. What if during this season this guy gets himself in trouble again? There's no wiggleroom, he'll be done and so will the Bills' chances of fielding a successful backfield. Here's a hypothetical scenario to drive a point home. Say we trade Peters, who at this point appears to not to want to play for us, and got a 1st rd pick in the 20's and drafted Brown. Now we got to address the hole at OT so we take OT Michael Oher to fill it. Lynch is ONE strike away from being useless for us and now we got Fred Jackson squawking about a better contract. Brown provides us insurance and although it's too late for us to receive compensation for Lynch in this year's draft we instead trade Lynch for a veteran to fulfill another area of need. What just was created was an OT and RB for less money, shedding of a disgruntled player and eliminated a 2 strike player who will net us another proven veteran for another area of need. What if that player was someone like DL Aaron Kampman or DT Corey Williams and some other minor compensation in the 2010 draft? I'm just saying. I don't want to trade Peters but I also don't want to repeat what happened with him last year neither. Lynch, I could really give two hoots about this guy. He had his chance(s) and he hasn't really shown that he's someone that can be counted on. Needless to say that if the replacements don't pan out then we took a step back but the current players that I'm talking about haven't really provided the most stability for us either. I'm not a GM, just an intense blogger, but I don't think that anybody else on this board is neither unless Russ Brandon is using an alias. One other thing, all I said was that I'd be alright with us taking Brown in the mid-late 1st rd. I'm not saying that I believe it or that it will happen, just that I wouldn't be against it. If the 2 RBs that you are referring to are MaGahee and Lynch then you're absolutely right but keep in mind that neither of them were selected by the current GM. Although Brandon was around and had some influence with Lynch, I think that he has more power now and can't be too thrilled with what he has seen out of him off the field so far. -

Well I'm not and neither are you. How am I trying to "punish" Peters? Get real. Btw, how do you know that Brown wouldn't be an upgrade over Lynch, on and off the field? -

Obviously if this were to happen "Beast Mode" would be shipped out of here and that really wouldn't upset me. I was receptive to him when we drafted Lynch but the baggage with him has turned me off. I'm not trying to run him out of town but it wouldn't bother me if he were. -
