I hope that the Bills' get a Vince Young-type QB.

I'm amazed. How in the world did you draw that conclusion from what I posted?! Man, you got some talent! -
Martz reportedly wants to be Bills coach
Tipster19 replied to Reddy Freddy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, a Martz selection could make a lot of sense in so many areas, especially at the QB position. Although we are in dire need of a major offensive facelift, I think that a physical-type offense would be more befitting for our climate versus a precision-type offense like the one that Martz ran in St Louis. -
I'm all for taking an impact player. Too many years we are just on the outside of being able to take a blue chipper and we wouldn't trade up to take an impact player. I was all for us to trade up with Minnesota and take Adrian Peterson but that didn't happen and in hindsight just missing out on Patrick Willis really makes me miserable, the guy is a stud. We have too many "good" players and I do use that term loosely. I want to see the Bills take a high caliber, impact player. I don't care about the cost or if we even have to use other draft pick(s) to move up enough to secure such a player. How about getting just ONE GREAT PLAYER and build the team around him, whoever that may be. Having someone who not accept ineptness, plays lights out and raises the level of play from others around him. let's try something different!

The Eagles usually trade players before they completely expire and still hold value. McNabb falls into that category and is the veteran leadership that this organization has sorely been needing for quite some time. It's hard to say what the fair compensation would be but the Bills should step up for a player like McNabb because they sure don't have the future QB for this team on the roster as of now.

http://www.democratandchronicle.com/articl...ey-tweeting-mad It kind of reminds me of the Simon & Garfunkel song "Mrs. Robinson", only replace "Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio? A nation turns it's lonely eyes to you" with "Where have you gone Darryl Talley? A city turns it's lonely eyes to you". It's sad, just a sad state of affairs for these Buffalo Bills and their fans.
-
The only reason Vic thought that there was a volcanon brewing is because he smelled the lava pouring out of Ralph's pants. The sad part is Ralph didn't even realize it until he reached for his wallet and pulled up a handful of ****. What a sad state of affairs this franchise is in.

I wouldn't expect anything less from Talley. Man, I miss that guy!

I woke up about 45 minutes ago, just lying in bed, eyes wide open, burning with anger and bitterness still. I can't take this **** anymore. What did I ever do to deserve this, this lifelong curse? I seriously need an exorcist from this franchise. I am denouncing this franchise and I curse the day that I totally committed myself to them. This loss is much worse than any I can remember. I don't know exactly why but it is. I never felt so empty or angry with any of the Super Bowls, not even the first one. Sure, I had many emotions after that one, mostly devastation but I still loved them. They were great players playing with great effort so I could get over whatever disappointment I was dealing with. This is different, much different. As far as I'm concerned this game is the final collapse. It's been way too many years with bozo after bozo running this franchise and coaching this team. It's not just Jauron, it's all of them. It's painfully obvious that this is Ralph's toy and he can do whatever he wants with it. F^<k him, he can stick this team up his @$$, I'm out. I tried to always rationalize it, look the other way, even was willing to wait for the next year. I'm not going to wait until next year again. I'm going to start getting on with my life once I can finally get over the bitterness of this latest fiasco. This thread is going to be therapeutic for me. I hope it helps others to vent and release their frustrations as well. Once it runs it's course hopefully I'll be rid of this morbid fancination that I have been vexed with for most of my life. I would like to take this time to apologize to my wife and kids for cheating them out of so much. How ashamed I am for mistreating them on so many levels because of how the Bills were affecting me. I'm not blaming the Bills, this is 100% completely on me and I have no excuse. Why and how I let the Bills affect the way I was with my wife, kids, other family members and friends shows me what a monster I became being a Buffalo Bill fan. There is no excuse for the way that I have behaved all these years. They were innocent victims and deserved better, and more, than I ever gave to them on Sundays. I have always prided myself on being gutsy, tough and never willing to quit. Do you know what I think what disgusts me the most? It's watching our QB not willing to throw down the field. He, I can't even bring myself to type his name, looks and looks, even pulls it down a few times and then dumps it off to a RB. He's not even throwing it to the TEs anymore. He's not my QB. I hate these California prima donnas that we seem to be turning up. I think it all started when we got that goofball Rob Johnson. I wouldn't care if he threw it down the field and got intercepted, I really wouldn't. It would still serve some purpose. It would at least stretch the defense a bit but when he gets intercepted throwing just a little out pattern, it's comical. Isn't this supposed to be more of his kind of throw? I wish Jim Kelly would have ran down to the sidelines and b!tchslapped the **** out of that little weasel and knocked that stupid @$$ grin off his puss at the same time. I guarantee you one thing, if Darryl Talley were still playing that aloofness on the sidelines wouldn't have been happening. I could go on and on and I probably said too much already but I do feel better so now I can go to bed and finally get some sleep. This is an encouraging sign, maybe in a couple of days I can be completely detoxed of this franchise.

I'm not a sissy like our QB. I'll face the heat but I won't forget how the Bills didn't return the support that I have given them faithfully the last 30+ years.
-
I live in SW Florida. Do you have ANY idea what I'm about to go thru tomorrow. The worse part is that I don't have a leg to stand on. Thanks to the Bills I'm totally defenseless. There's not one thing good I can say. Oh, maybe congratulations.

I'm so disgusted and fed up with the ineptitude that we continually put on the field. I give up, I admit that it's embarrassing to be a Bills' fan. The shame that they bring year after year has finally reached a breaking point with me. They have succeeded in sapping ALL the trust and faith that I ever had with this whole organization. No, scratch that word "organization", it's not being used properly. I meant to say this whole franchise. Shame on Ralph, shame on Brandon, shame on Jauron, shame on all the players but mostly shame on us for supporting these morons.

I couldn't find the thread on DL Coach Bob Sanders
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just read the post on TO and the USA Today article AFTER I posted this thread and he said that the Bills' fans eat, breathe and sleep the Bills. Hey, that's me! LOL! -
One can see the difference in our line play so far. We sure have been waiting a long time for a change in our mentality and I think this guy is the difference. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/story/807784.html Btw, how many around here eat, drink and sleep about the Bills? I can't get enough about their past, present and future. They are constantly on my mind and I never tire talking about them. I'm pretty jacked about tomorrow's game. I sure hope that they do well, the defense is facing a pretty tall task against Drew Brees & Co. Go Bills!

I just watched Coach Jauron's PC from today.
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's hysterical! -
Unfortunately we have been having untimely fumbling going on way too much in the last two games and I'm expecting ole Greggo to be having his defense looking to strip the ball. Our turnovers have been holding us back and it just might cost us this game more than Drew Brees & Co.

Wow, what an astute summary! This response said everything I meant plus more. I'm VERY impressed with your whole breakdown of our situation during the whole Jauron Era. -
It's breath of fresh air to watch and listen to someone who exudes honesty, integrity and sincerity. No cat and mouse replies or deceptive verbage. I liked it and I find myself impressed and liking Coach Jauron..... a lot. I don't know just how good or lacking of a coach he is but one of my stronger points is reading people and this guy is a downright class act. I don't know what really goes on within an organization with their football operations. I like to think that I know something and to speculate with my opinion and intuition but the reality is I don't know squat about it and I strongly suspect that most of us don't either. I'll admit that going into the season I had very little hope of our success and was becoming more and more anti-Jauron but seeing what has happen so far this season, and yes I do realize that it has only been two games, I'm starting to think that I just might have erred in my conviction of him. It's not just the coach who is the end all with a team, he's just more of the face of a team, someone who is the public identity of a team and franchise. He isn't the one who is solely responsible for who's on the team. The GM is probably the one who carries the most clout in the final say in what becomes a team's personnel. Then the assistant coachs are accountable for holding up their end of responsibility also. Listen, I'm not foolish enough to think or believe that the coach holds most of the responsibility of what goes on with a team. I do still think that there isn't a ton of competency on the sidelines with the smaller aspects of a game with the nuances of clock management, play calling and decision making during a game but I think what a HC is most responsible for is the schemes and I think that Jauron is actually doing an admirable job so far this year. I think that with Brandon being more solidified in his position, he is changing the mentality of this team with players who are good young football players and getting rid of the overpaid primadonnas. hence Coach Jauron is getting the proper players that he can develope and to be willing to execute the game plans/schemes more efficently. This post is coming out kind of crappy and I'm not explaining it as well as when it was in my head initially but I hope that some of my thoughts transcended enough to explain my intention of this post. PS- I actually believe that we stand more than a good chance of beating the Saints come this Sunday. Here's where the compensation may come in for always drafting all those secondary players we did in the last few years. We need McCargo/Williams/Maybin to get into that backfield and keep an awful lot of pressure on Brees. The Saints suddenly have some concerns with their RBs and I don't think their defense is gelling as much as they would have liked them to be this early into the season. We need Trent to stay upright and get the ball to our playmakers. I also think that TE Shawn Nelson just might have a much bigger game than expected and if not him then one of our TEs in addition to the Owens and Evans combo. I also wouldn't be surprised that if Josh Reed doesn't suit up for this game then Roscoe could be a very dangerous slot receiver for us in Reed's place during this particular contest. We would also need our ST returners to have huge returns and Moorman needs to bury the ball on any of his punts.
-
I noticed that McGee and McKelvin were also listed the same way. Imagine if we didn't have either of them ready for Sunday's game, we'd be McScrewed. All kidding aside, those two were known to have some issues but I never heard nothing on Roscoe. It's like we're being very protective of our ST returners. I hope everyone and thing is ok because that's been our biggest strength. We could sure use a good healthy return game come Sunday.
-
Matter of fact I was wondering about the same thing. It's not only our returners but our coverage also. I would say average is a good description.

Can we trade all these "circling wagons" for some tanks?
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't really catch that but that's ok with me. There's nothing wrong with sending a message. I like it and if we have to take a penalty or two it will be worth it. It's kind like when a DB just lays the wood on a WR, they have to think twice before they go back over the middle. I like letting other teams take note that our OL is not going to take any of their crap. We haven't done that in forever and a day. I sense a new era. Hit them with some hard Wood and ring their Bell! Go Bills! -

I give Jauron credit. He handled the pregame and postgame results with class and dignity and had his team ready to play. The Buffalo Bills did us proud, especially in the face of diversity going into the game. Anyone who takes issue with Jauron accomplished in this one game is just being prejudiced and is not really being fair or unbiased, at least in my opinion.
