  1. THAT will never happen! It's just not the way I'm built. Hopefully I inspired some others to unload their bs and frustrations. Consider this the "BS thread".
  2. Listen, this was a weak stab at humor. I WANT to hear smart ass sarcasm, it will help to keep my sanity. This **** really can't be real but unfortunately it is. One thing that's for sure, I like many from our region have the same mentality and that is what Tim Russert was proud of when he referred to how we as Bills' fans keep getting knocked down but we also keep getting back up.
  3. This is just one of many questions that I been finding myself asking lately. The frustration in my life has been building like a pressure cooker and here's some crap that's been happening that I can't understand. I was going thru the grocery store line and handed the cashier a gift card and she promptly hits the wrong button. She turns and asks what key to use, food or cash, I ask if there's a key for a career change. My daughter and her husband came back home from Rochester to SW Florida a week ago Sunday at 5:30 AM, both unemployed. The next night, Monday, my wife's father passed away unexpectedly. The house turns into emotional shambles. The following night, Tuesday, I fall asleep on the couch at about 10:45 PM. My daughter has horrific stomach pain. My son-in-law takes her to emergency at about 11:15 PM. On the way there they get pulled over and guess who gets arrested for having a suspended license for an unpaid traffic ticket? That's right, my dearly beloved (sarcasm) son-in-law. I go the scene of the incident and see him in the back of a squad car and a EMT taking my daughter to emergency because of her "chest pains". I'm just getting warmed up, this **** gets better. Here I'm stuck moving their car as they both get whisked off to different destinations. Oh, it's going to be a looonng night and sure as **** it was. Now I have to stay up all night for dual reasons, (a) make sure that my daughter is alright, turned out to be gallstones, and (b) to bail out my son-in-law. Well, now that it's 6:30 AM and I have to be to work at 9:00 AM to a job that I can't stand (car sales), btw, I never grew up wanting to be a car salesman, I don't know how this **** happened, I always wanted to be a cowboy, astronaut or a fireman! Ok, back to this nightmare. I get the call from the bondsman and he tells me that it will ONLY cost me a $100.00. Well that's just !@#$ing great because I only have $80.00. How tempting was it for me to tell them to keep that little prick??! VERY! Listen, if any of you don't want to hear anymore whining then get out now but I'm finding this bizarre bs that is my life very therapeutic. Alright, back to my misery. I get all this bs straighten out and go back to work on Thursday (my normal day off) and try to get my momentum rolling again. It wasn't a bad day but nothing spectacular neither. I go to work Friday and I'm starting to feel my mojo, because let me tell you something, this career or job or what ever in the hell that you want to call it, is ALL about a positive mental attitude but this isn't going to be allowed. Around 12:00 PM (lunch time) my wife calls to let me know that the proscessor from the courthouse is serving us papers to respond in 20 days or get the !@#$ out of our house that we have been in for the last 14 years. Of course my wife hasn't been thru enough already, let's add more. The worse part is that it's my fault, not hers, for me being a punk ass wise guy and not doing the responsible thing like getting a proper education and taking on a more stable job. Why she married me is beyond me, that's the only thing that she's guilty or accountable for is making that decision. Well, today I had enough. After working HOURS UPON HOURS with a couple of customers this week-end, whose perception is that you are nothing but a lying scumbag and then because they wanted to wait a few hours to "think about it", I'm so sick of hearing that bs!, and then have some boss' pet sell the vehicle out from under you was just too much for me today. I've had it! I had a major meltdown and just said "!@#$ this ****!" and just walked out. Needless to say that I don't have anything else lined up and I'm TOTALLY screwed. Now that I'm calming down, and drunk, I ask myself, "Why is this **** happening to me?", and then it occurred to me. Do you want to know why this is happening to me? It's because I'm a !@#$ing lifelong Buffalo Bill fan that's why and **** NEVER goes our way!!! Btw, my wife is still slow as a snail and I can't blame that on the Bills.
  4. Check it out, I suggested trading for McNabb back in November and got ripped for it. He would give the Bills instant credibility. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...=101123&hl=
  5. I agree also but I don't think that Josh Reed is going to be around much longer himself. Either way it would be nice to have some better options than what we currently have, especially if TO goes elsewheres which I believe he will.
  6. I never said to get rid of Hardy, I just don't think that he's the answer at this point. Two injury plagued seasons, pedestrian speed, I just don't see him contributing anything at this time, if at all. I'd like to see the Bills get a big WR with speed and I think that Barden can provide that. Um, I'm looking over this thread and I don't see where I or anyone else called or thinks that Whitner is a "bust garbage player". The assumptions and interpretations around here are simply amazing!
  7. The shake up for this roster is imminent and if a big body WR with some speed is needed then I don't think Hardy is that guy. Looking at the Giants' needs they suffer in the secondary the most and their S Kenny Phillips had microfracture surgery on his left knee and may not be the same player that they drafted. I think that it would be interesting to see if their 2009 3rd rd pick WR Ramses Barden would be available in a trade for some secondary/S help. Whitner for Barden could serve a dual purpose in establishing a new direction for the Bills.
  8. I would also like to add that the Bills turn things around next year and land up with a winning season and in the play-offs.
  9. Leslie Frazier becomes the Bills' next HC. Jim Bates is hired as the next DC and in turn DL Bob Sanders is brought back to man the same position under Bates. Jim Fassel will be hired as the next OC for the Bills. He will also be heavily responsible for the developing our young QBs. The Steelers name Bobby April their ST coach. The Bills' make a couple of trades this year. Their acquire Aaron Kampman from the Packers and also trade for Cleveland's Joshua Cribbs. The latter enables us to offset the pressure on our QB situation. The Bills incorporate their own version of the Wildcat offense with Cribbs. There will also be no need to draft a QB of Tim Tebow's talents due to Cribbs' abilities. Another aquisition is aquiring DE Jevon Kearse as a situational pass rusher and mentor to a young Aaron Maybin. The first day of draft will be used to fortify both sides of our lines on offense and defense. One pick in the middle rds will be spent on a developemental QB for the future. Terrell Owens won't be back and it will be Stevie Johnson, not James Hardy, who will be playing opposite of Lee Evans as our #2 WR for next season. It's fun speculating and I'm sure that I'll be more wrong than right but I think that I tried to make some logical solutions so we'll see how it all pans out. I'm inviting all advice, opinions, input and corrections.
  10. Lord knows that it's been a lean year and due to economics I got two presents this year but I got one that is a real treasure! I got a dress shirt/tie and a big, beautiful framed picture of Ralph Wilson Stadium! I live in SW Florida for the last 16 years and when I opened the gift I was flooded with so many memories of going to a bunch of games during the 80's and 90's. I was at the 1990 AFC Conference title game and saw my all time favorite player ( Darryl Talley) make a pick 6 in the endzone that I was sitting in. I was at all the home play-off games in the early-mid 90's except for the Greatest Come Back game ( stupid me! I'm still kicking myself over that one! Ha! I just misspelt stupid! Good thing for spellcheck) and many regular season games. I, as many have been, has been greatly disappointed with the results of the last several seasons but I'd like to share a surprising revelation that caught me off guard as I opened this gift. I realized I lost a part of the Bills once I moved. I still follow them feverishly and the I love that I got for them in my heart is the same as when you're separated from family members once you move but there is no replacing the social aspect of going to the game and tailgating or sitting around the coffeetable and visiting your family. I miss it, I miss it alot! So I guess my message that I would to share is take time to hug the ones you love because you never know when they'll be taken from you and that includes the Bills. Merry Christmas to one and all of you and I hope that you all have a great day! Btw, the shirt was the wrong size and I won't have my house much longer but there is a wall out there somewhere that I'll be able to hang my picture on and that will be my home, especially when I look at my picture! Merry Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho!
  11. Seems that Seattle Seahawks' coach Jim Mora is all about wanting OL with nasty demeanors and wants them to play with attitude. I wonder if the Seahawks were interested in acquiring Incognito when he was waived. http://blog.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/20...-within-reason/
  12. I asking sincerely, I really don't know who is on this team and I believe that there should be at least 3 or 4 on a team for them to be successful. I think that this quality should weigh in heavily on any new additions, whether it be thru the draft, trades or FA acquisitions.
  13. With or without Fewell our problems would not be resolved. I don't care who we have as a coach right now, under our current situation and personnel they would net similiar results.
  14. I'm not impressed at all. This team needs a realignment, not just the front office, coaching but also of the players. Either get rid of them or find new positions for them and that starts with Poz because he stinks as a MLB.
  15. The Bills looked terrible last night. They didn't play inspired ball and our secondary seemed to be yards off the on too many big plays. In addition the LB corp was embarrassing. Poz should change his name to Pus, that guy stood and watched way too much and never tried to a hat on a player. The score didn't indicate the play on the field, they were lucky that they didn't get smoked. This franchise problems in all areas, not just coaching. Please, no more bargain draft players. If we were to trade up and use all of our draft picks on just 2 or 3 blue chip players it would be fine with me. I'm so over these "value" players. No more please.
  16. I'd be pissed if I was Boss Hog. What was the use in bringing in Girardi if Sanchez was going to keep on going head first?
  17. I'm glad you mentioned this because when I first made this post I forgot to bring up that since Fewell took over we picked up two DTs that didn't seem to be Cover 2 Ts. I thought and still believe that Fewell has ideas on personnel and what kind of changes that he would like to make.
  18. This team needs help and lots of it. Well this game was humbling I don't think anyone would have made too much of a difference coaching this one. I have to say that Poz REALLY disgusted me on several plays, especially when both Jets' QB ran and he didn't even try to put a hat on them. On the other hand I was impressed with George Wilson's play and enthusiasm. I'll eat crow for this post but coaching isn't our only problem. I know that's obvious but it's also pretty disheartening. I was totally disgusted after the first Miami game and didn't dare have any kind of optimism until Jauron was fired and we actually looked to play some inspired ball under Fewell but now it's back to the doldrums. Aaaah!
  19. Listen, it's just my opinion but I like what I see and I'm so over this rebuilding crap. If we make another choice and it's better than I'm all for it. Bottom line is I'm a Bills' fan and I just want them back to respectability, that's all.
  20. It's getting close to game time and I gotta tell ya, I'm getting butterflies! Go Bills!
  21. I'm on board with this guy. We have to beg these "A" candidates and throw blocks millions to come here?! I say let's pay someone who WANTS to be here. Fewell seems like a no nonsense guy to me and sure has gotten these players to play in the last two games. He hasn't backed off from showing that he's willing to make the gutsy calls either. Bringing in an outsider also just about guarantees that this team will most certainly be gutted again. Let's just get rid of a few of the deadwood and add some important pieces to build around. Fewell knows what we got for personnel better than ANYONE, let him direct this ship, I don't think that there is anyone more qualified for our goals and ambitions than him at this time. If any high profiled additions are to be made then let it be someone like Mike Martz or Jim Fassel as an OC because that's really what we need more than anything else.
  22. I don't think that it's all that farfetched. Think about it, Roethlisberger is signed thru 2015 and during that time he will be paid 66.55 million dollars. That's an awful big investment for someone who has suffered 3 concussions since 2002. There also has been rumors that there may be some dissension in the lockerroom on how Big Ben announced on short notice that he may not play in Sunday night's game. Granted that this may be due to Tomlin withholding this information but I personally don't think that Roethlisberger is a untouchable when you weigh in all the factors. Tomlin in the beginning of the year was alluding to changing the offensive identity of the Steelers. Where they have traditionally known for smashmouth football Tomlin wasn't overly concerned with going with a more aggressive passing offense. Tomlin referenced the Patriots as a team who weren't intimidated with going with a wide open aerial attack in a several game stretch. If you look back over the first 6 games of this year it will support this type of mentality. Big Ben threw for TDs and 1887 yards and his year to date is 17 TDs/2867 yards. That's pretty impressive for someone who has had his share of concussions but is also owed a huge contract. If they have a good sense of confidence in Dixon then from a business standpoint Roethlisberger, his future and his contract could be under review. A former co-worker from Pittsburgh stopped into work the other day and said that the buzz up there in Pittsburgh is that Big Ben wasn't going to play in Sunday night's game and this was long before I read it anywheres on the internet. He further stated that they (Steelers) are considering shutting him down for the season because of their investment and concerns with him and his potential concussion issues. I'd keep an eye on this speculation if he is indeed shut down for the season, this to me would be a very strong indicator on his current and future situation with the Steelers. I'm just passing along what was said and what I heard but I do find it very interesting to say the least.
