The Bills are moving up, they're moving down, they're moving all around, they're taking this guy, not taking that guy!!! Who knows what they are going to do because I sure the hell don't but who cares, I love it!!! I do know one thing and that is we are going to do great and I can't wait!!! I have been up since 6:00 AM, laying in bed wide awake imaging all the possibilities!!! I haven't felt like this since I was a little kid on Christmas morning! The difference is I can't jump out of bed and run to the tree but that will be happening tonight!!! Lol! Go Bills, you bad mother!@#$ers!!!

Touché guys, you both nailed it on what I was hopefully trying to project. This was EXACTLY the spirit I was looking for! Great job guys! -
My predraft portfolio reads like this. 5'10.", 183 lbs, and runs probably a 5.8 40. Alledged past pot using but never proven. High school drop out who's wonderlic score I'm sure sucks, if I had to guess it's probably around a 3 or 4. Don't put me in the secondary because I couldn't cover a saucepot but I'd probably make a good STer if they would just run on my side of the field and somehow get in arm's length because I'd be more than willing to stick them in the chest if I could. I could also possibly run a Wildcat package but don't expect me to throw the ball because I have an arm like a noodle and I'm too short to see over them massive bastards up on the OL. I just recently quit smoking so I should be able to snap off a 30 yder without taking a break as long as nobody touches me. The good news is that I'm salary cap friendly because as of now I work for peanuts and anything would be a pay hike so there would be no contract hold out. I'll go to all practices and would even be willing to be a tackling dummy. This is something that I know that I'd excel at. Oh, btw, if anyone thinks that this might be predraft rumors just to devalue me it's not. This is all true **** and I'm looking to hopefully go in the very late rds (6th or 7th??). I'm having a draft party on Saturday, anticipating a phone call from some stupid ass team (Miami?) to take a shot on me, thinking that they can "turn me around". Everyone is welcomed to join me for this big event and the first beerball is on me. I have everyone has a good time and I'll see yas at the draft!

You're right to a point but a deal was basicly made on the phone while Meachum was still in Buffalo. I haven't really ever heard of that happening before, have you? If so it's not a common practice. Look, AJ Smith is an intentional SOB in my book and if Buffalo could stick it in his ass by either taking a player that he covets or bleeding him for a so called such player then I would really enjoy it. Call me petty but anyone splews poison about anyone or anything about our franchise then I don't forget it and I consider them an enemy. AJ Smith can kiss my ass for all that I care but if he doesn't start getting that team deep into the play-offs soon then he may be looking for a job and THAT would suit me just fine.
-
It was actually just a few snide remarks towards Ralph several years back. Throw in the Meachum theft and he just kind of rubs me wrong. I glad that we got Buddy Nix, I hope that it burnt Smith's ass. He's a smug bastard and I guess that I just don't like him.
-
I would love to pay back AJ Smith for all the disdain he has displayed towards our franchise throughout the years. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/23/chargers-have-discussed-trading-up-for-mark-barron/

There's talk that Kalil could slide out of the top 10.
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's how I see it. The Vikings will take Kalil at the #3 spot BUT if they didn't for some strange reason then I could believe that Kalil makes it all the way to the Panthers at the #9 spot. If that happens then here is where the problem will be. Some other team (KC? Dallas? Whoever??) trades up and beats us to the punch. Here's my question, if that happens, Kalil at #9, should we make a trade with the Panthers? -
What a tragic story. I'm pulling for this guy not just in football but more importantly in life. One's faith is greatly tested in the face of such adversity but I also know that if he gets thru it he will be stronger because of it. I wish him well. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/football/nfl/03/28/chris.johnson/index.html

I have an idea. Why don't we tell the Eagles to beat it and we draft Fletcher Cox? I would love for us to fortify our DL, take a couple of CBs and a LB in the first 4 or 5 rounds and REALLY build this roster/team for the next few years. With the other couple of picks by the 5th rd we should take a developemental OT and a decent 2nd WR (Brian Quick?). Just an idea. Go Bills!

Make your pick now for the draft
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm officially withdrawing my prediction on the Bills taking CB Stephon Gilmore. After watching some of today's videos of Nix and Whaley I don't have a clue of what they are going to do! Lol! It doesn't matter though, I trust that they know what they're doing and whoever they pick is fine by me. Go Bills! -
Did anybody else notice during the presser that...
Tipster19 replied to FredEx Delivers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, I just noticed that myself and that's why I'm jumping back on the board and that is to ask the exact same question. Furthermore did you see how he passed the hot potato to Buddy and he didn't want anything to do with it??!!! I found that whole interview VERY interesting! -
He might be the next Tim Couch, brought along too soon and ruined any shot of developing him.

Sorry fellas but according to this article Buddy seems content to find a WR in the later rounds. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/article815845.ece -
Make your pick now for the draft
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, it's called education. -
He makes the most sense. Fortify this defense and take your offensive players in the next couple of rounds if need be. Make your pick now and state why. The draft is right around the corner and the excitement is really starting to mount! Go Bills!

Lol, I didn't even think about The 3 Stooges! Wow, I thought a Bills' fan suffered a lot, I couldn't imagine being a Jag's fan with our cast-offs! Ouch, that's brutal!

Defense, Defense, Defense and more Defense
Tipster19 replied to Jeffery Lester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
EXACTLY! Wilson is the heart and soul of this team. We need to draft another 3 or 4 of him. With that being said I agree with most of what the OP said, draft a lot but not all defense. It's real tempting to go after an appealing offensive player (WR, LT) but we need better defense before we need better offense. I have complete confidence in Buddy Nix & Co. He knows what we need and he knows what he is doing. 'Nuff said. Go Bills! -
Time to go for broke...trade up for Kalil
Tipster19 replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, great link, thanks for posting it. After reading it only makes me more convinced that if we stay put at the #10 spot than all the more we should expect the Bills to take a CB (Gilmore?). -
Fair enough, value is in the eye of the beholder. While I understand the points that you're trying to make I just don't think that some are fair and/or accurate. I'm not a big number or stat guy myself but rather do my evaluations by just watching a player play. I strongly disagree about the toughness of Wallace. I've watched him get crumpled a few times just to see him drag his ass back TJ o the huddle. I will say that I don't know about Evans' toughness but not about converting 3rd downs and being one dimensional would be very accurate, hence that's why he is no longer in Buffalo but as far as Wallace goes he usually takes his catches to the house or for huge gains because of his blazing speed. What I will say is that Evans was suppose to be everything that Wallace is and THAT is the only comparison that I would make between the two. No, let's not skew the picture with partial information. Look at the WHOLE body of work of each player since they have been in the NFL because that's where the difference of opinions come in at.

I just find this an interesting twist leading up to this year's draft. I would love for Buffalo to be in the mix for him but unfortunately I'm not expecting for that to be the case. One other thing, this is just pure speculation on my part, I think that we as a group are going to be in for a real big surprise in the way that the Bills use their first round pick. http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabid/61/EntryId/25529/Handful-of-teams-interested-in-a-trade-for-Mike-Wallace/Default.aspx

Demetrius Bell - Now an Eagle
Tipster19 replied to voodoo poonani's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know, you're right but I am so sick and tired of the Eagles. Ever since that whole Marshawn Lynch fiasco and then the Jason Peters thing I guess that I had enough of them always trying to rip us off with their low ball trade offers. I was ecstatic when they crashed and burned last year. Andy Reid is one of the biggest (and fattest!) liars in the league. One can't boil the truth out of that guy!
