  1. No but we do need to work SOMETHING out. I would love to have a healthy Walker on our team.
  2. Moulds needs to go. If Walker is healthy or even if he will be, then we should work out a deal IMMEDIATELY! Before he was hurt the guy was the BOMB! I wonder how much Nall could influence this situation. He would know more about the inside situation about Walker and Green Bay than most I would think.
  3. Here's a trade that I would do. Trade Moulds and our later 3rd rd. pick (#73) or our 4th rder, if we can get away with it, to San Fran for their RG Justin Smiley. With the signing of Larry Allen they are shifting Smiley over to the right side to compete with OGs David Baas and Eric Heitman. They can stand to use a veteran WR and we can sure use a good OG, especially one who has some game experience. The cap savings would be nice too. Check out the link. http://www.49ers.com/team/playerinfo.asp?TeamRosterID=308
  4. It all depends, does Javon need a walker? If he is going to make a full recovery and this report is accurate, than I would try to work SOMETHING out. I wouldn't do the deal stated above though. From Green Bay supposedly saying that they are not interested and then making a trade proposal is encouraging.
  5. No doubt, he does need to go. I don't hold it against him for wanting his last payday and I don't like the way that he and his "advisors" are handling it but until recently we did have a good history with him. Unfortunately, it's time to move on AND get compensated for it. Bye.
  6. You know, when dog14787 posted about Moulds being a class act, the way that I percieved it was about his football abilities and his team loyalty. Even if I'm wrong it's disappointing how the way we turn on each other for having an opinion. No matter how he meant it, he was trying to say something positive and nice about somebody who has been on our team and who always gave great effort. At one time or another we were ALL proud and grateful that he was on our team. With all this backbiting and hatred, why in the world would ANYBODY want to play for such "fans". The behavior and comments on this board are just downright disgusting sometimes. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves, and if you can't be that then maybe you should find another team and messageboard to be a part of.
  7. You guys make me laugh. It's funny how you never hear all the badmouthing of one of our players until the player wants to leave. When the guy was helping out the young recievers and having monster games against Miami I NEVER heard the masses sling such mud against the guy. Now the guy wants to leave and we're hearing about his past child support payments ALL the way back to his college days?! Give me a break! This board has to be the biggest collection of the most miserable, vindictive, judgemental group of people that I have EVER heard. Does this make you better than thou attitude make you feel good about yourselves? Too bad it wasn't a few hundred years ago, we could burn him on a stake for his evil witchcraft. The guy is a football player. Nothing more, nothing less.
  8. That's just it. We don't want to get rid of EM. He's not happy, not us. EM will find his value, he just might not like it.
  9. I agree with 1959BillsFan. I don't think ANYBODY expects a good team THIS year. I believe that there has been some positive moves so far this year. It is going to take time to turn this organization around. Is there anything wrong to having some hope? Maybe it's better just whining and wringing our hands and crying "We stink, what are we going to do?!" It's sickening. There is NO quick cure to our situation, but I like what's going on so far and there's a light at the end of the tunnel and this time I don't believe that it's a train. So for all the "fans" who always want to complain and have a doom and gloom mentality let me offer you some advice. Let it go, it's not worth the stress. What's the sense of beating this whole thing into the ground before we even had a chance to draft, pick-up more players in free agency and the June 1st cuts and had an opportunity to play our very first game?
  10. I agree with the original poster. It is sad to know that Eric will be leaving us. I do wish him the best but this is a business and we do have to do what's best for the future of this team. If he can't stand playing with Losman or for whatever reason then it's time to part ways. It's too bad that Eric and the Bills never reached the levels of success that we all hoped for. Make no mistake about it, Moulds will ALWAYS be a Buffalo Bill. I bet he feels the same way, it's just that right now he's mad. When some time goes by I'm sure that Moulds will have some fond memories of playing in front of the 12th man.
  11. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay is making a push to sign WR Marc Boerigter, the towering Kansas City free agent. With wide receivers in demand because the draft class is so poor and more than 20 already off the board, Boerigter's market value has been pushed up. The Packers appear to be competing with Tampa Bay and New England for his services. We own the rights to Moulds and have the cap room. He's 32 soon to be 33. He can throw all the temper tantrums that he wants to but if he doesn't find a trade partner or threatens to hold out, then who really loses? Him, that's who. He won't be on the roster come opening day but Buffalo WILL be compensated and rather nicely I might add. Here's my prediction on where Moulds will go. 1. Philly- This makes the most sense for both teams. They need Moulds, he's a poor man's TO. The WRs that they have there now couldn't catch a bus. 2. Seattle/Minnesota- The loser of the Burleson sweepstakes. 3. Green Bay- They can say all that they want that they are not interested but don't believe it. Driver is up there in age, Walker may not be right physically and he feels like Moulds about his team, if not more. Oh, I almost forgot Ferguson. Can you say injury prone? 4. KC- Not too many coaches have seen more of Moulds than Herm and they NEED WRs. 5. San Diego- They need another WR. They tried the Boston experiment, now it's time to go with a solid, proven player. 6. Denver- Shanahan is capable of anything when it comes to trading. 7. Houston- They need to compliment Andre Johnson. They signed an awful lot of O-Linemen, now it's time to make this Carr go. It would serve us best to trade him to the NFC but if that can't happen then I do believe that most of the AFC West teams could stand to use a WR of Moulds' caliber.
  12. If Moulds has the leverage than why is his "personal advisors" trying to find a trade partner? I guess that they are just being nice guys. If I remember correctly Travis Henry stated that he would sit out. Well, we got a decent 1st day pick for his crying ways. I hope the tears pour out of Moulds face, maybe we can get a 2nd rder.
  13. Look for the Bills to monitor cuts after June 1, where there has been a growing trend of available quality veterans cut just before the season. I believe Marv is and does need to be careful with the salary cap and the infusion of additional personnel. A big difference maker here will be how on top of the situation of other teams' structures he is aware of. Have you noticed how quickly he moved on a few chosen FAs? Some even appear that we paid too much for. I think that he has a very deliberate plan intact and that players like Royal and Tripplett are key components. We stand in a very good position in the early rounds of this year's draft. Here we will obtain some major building blocks. Once we conclude our selections in the draft, then it wouldn't be surprising to see Marv move rapidly after the June 1st cuts are made on aquiring a few more targeted ingredients that will round out our remaining needs. I see Marv being cost effective, patient, and strategic. So if the people who are worried right now can just back away from the edge of the cliff for about 70 days then maybe, just maybe, your stress level can be reduced.
  14. It seems strange that all of a sudden teams are re-signing alot of their UFAs. Some of these players I can understand but there are some that you would think that other teams could use or want. Matter of fact some of them have been contacted by other teams, and in some cases even visited, and nothing came of it. I would love to know or understand the strategies that go on behind closed doors of the NFL organizations. Buffalo- DE Ryan Denney Steelers- RB Verron Haynes KC- DT Lional Dalton NE- OL Stephen Neal, WR Troy Brown, and FB Heath Evans Seahawks- FB Mack Strong Giants- WR Tim Carter Jets- TE Chris Baker Eagles- OL Jon Runyan Bucs- ORT Kenyatta Walker
  15. Well, then let me ask you some questions. How did you feel when McGee got banged up last year? Were you a little nervous? Do people really feel secure with our secondary and it's depth? Did you happen to notice that Roscoe was taking over more of these responsibilities towards the end of the season? I wouldn't want to see another Seahorn saga happen. The guy was NEVER right after he blew out his knee.
  16. Let's face it, these two didn't inherit the best situation. They walk into a scenario where the owner is becoming more indifferent to the direction of his team, a team that is severly divided and the payroll was out of whack for senior players. They made some cuts without looking back and that were sensible. I don't see where Milloy is that big of a loss. What did he ever really do? As far as the lockerroom, I guess I really can't comment on his effect. I do remember that he made no bones about him and other players from around the league need to get paid. I won't hold that against him, but it doesn't seem like he was a rah-rah type of guy. Old, fat Sam Adams not only didn't fill their scheme, he's old and he was ready for the big part of his contract. Bye. Teague is no loss and he didn't appear too happy with decisions that were being made last year. Time to go. I like the image that Marv & Co. have been projecting to the FAs that have been visiting. For the most part, the majority had positive comments about them, the team and the organization. As far as the malcontents that are still on the team, well they still have value. Here's where I think that Marv is still maintaining the nice guy image and letting them find their own level of contentment by seeking their own trade. I don't think that Clement is still a guarantee to be on the roster come the beginning of the season. If he is, then I think that he will be locked up on a long term contract. Otherwise he could be traded come draft day for a big compensation. Hello Denver! When you look at what Marv has done so far it has been pretty subtle. He got rid of the old and replaced it with youth and good, solid role players. Keep in mind that he also has dealt with the salary cap pretty efficiently so far. He has advocated character and chemistry and there hasn't been anything so far that's been to the contrary. I think that he has accomplished an awful lot of good in a short period of time. Needless to say that we are not where we need to be yet but there is still plenty of time and opportunity left for him to fulfill his and our goals.
  17. I don't know if the replacements are great, except for Tripplett is a big improvement, but I don't think that the losses were any big deal. I also agree that all our needs will not be filled thru the draft but I also feel that we will make a couple more key aquisitions in either in free agency or with a trade(s). I do believe that Marv & Co. do have a deliberate plan and they are executing it.
  18. The Texans just agreed to a 3 year contract with C Mike Flanagan. We'll be helping ourselves with the O-Line.
  19. Like it or not I believe that Reed will be the #2 reciever this year for us. We won't be replacing Moulds with another reciever. The compensation for him will come thru the draft and maybe a player. Davis will stretch the field and hopefully Reed won't have hands of stone. Evans could be a smaller version of Moulds. Last year we used a nice valuable 2nd rd pick for our kick-off/punt returner. That's all I see Roscoe doing. I don't think that you will see Marv jeoporizing McGee on STs anymore. Can Everett be a playmaker? With no NFL experience, and who knows how nasty of an injury, he's a longshot to say the least. It's nice to hear that MaGahee is in Buffalo working out. We do need to have some insurance there. Has anybody heard anything else about A-Train? I don't know if he would be the answer anyways. Any suggestions here? Of course all this means nothing if we don't have a competent QB. This is the position that I pray to GOD about. The more that I think about our situation the more I believe that if we don't trade down, we'll be looking to select either Ferguson or Davis to help out our dire O-Line. Does this analogy look somewhat accurate?
  20. Who really knows for sure who we will pick with our first pick but you can bet that it will be a bluechipper that we will be able to use, and probably immediately! Either that or we trade down and accumalate a bunch of draft picks and/or veteran player(s). It's only going to get better for us from here on out. Go Bills!
  21. I read earlier in the week that Nate Burleson was visiting other team(s). They might make for a good trade partner for Moulds. They usually like the Buffalo cast-offs.
  22. Per KFFL. I just edited the title to make it more accurate.
  23. Whew! It's good to hear from another Bills fan on this post.
  24. It gets better. The Packers are talking to C Mike Flanagan on re-signing. Fowler looks to be our guy at this point. That's ok. Expect Marv to upgrade our O-Line by going after more RFAs and thru the draft. Can you say RFA Jordan Black, Jordan Black. C'mon, it has a ring to it.
