  1. I nominate Dallas' Jerry Jones. He's going to show everybody that he's Mr. Football. Ask Jimmy Johnson and Parcells how big of a pain in the a$$ he is. I hope he falls flat on that raisin puss of his.
  2. Why in the world is he put at risk???!!! He's one of our best weapons. I can't stand that criminal Taylor, him and all those other parolees from the U. I would love to see someone kick his a$$.
  3. Well, it's not looking too good for Graham. I forgot how the Patriots don't like to pony up the cash. Good bye Asante! Here's a link that breaks it down pretty good. http://www.projo.com/patriots/content/sp_f...96.17ac39c.html
  4. You're right, his name is Plummer. That's just a fringe benefit from a former employer.
  5. No way Peterson gets past them. It's Miami and San Fran that bothers me. They both have similiar needs to ours. Nothing would be worse than to have the fish grab a player that we wanted.
  6. I talked about this concept before Dennis, and you even had some input on it then. Thanks! Here's the past link and everything on it isn't such a good idea but I don't a little creativity would hurt. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=21667&hl=
  7. If the Patriots are going to use their franchise tag on anyone, speculation has them tagging either Asante Samuel or Graham. If they don't use it on Graham, I think he would make a great addition to our current roster. Any input on what our administration's opinion is on Everett?
  8. Here's a scenario that wouldn't upset me. Resign Anthony Thomas, pick Tennessee's Chris Brown for cheap and trade off Willis MaGoofey for a first day pick. If Brown can stay healthy, he'd be a steal. Add the fact that Thomas is more than adequate in a shared backfield. As far as MaGahee goes, I just don't see him as this current administration's type of guy, especially after his contract expires. Get value for him and move on. In the last 3 years I think the RB position has become alot more expendable than in years past.
  9. With the recent induction of Thurman into the HOF and Marv starting to get into the full swing of molding this team, it wouldn't really surprise me if Levy is trying to build the same type of offense that he use to employ. MaGahee was Donahoe's choice, not Marv's. Two different RBs, two different offenses. Chicago's Thomas Jones might be a better fit for the kind of offense Levy used to run back in the '90s. I'm just using Jones as an example for the kind of RB that Marv might would like to see in the backfield. I don't know how his blocking is but converting WR Josh Reed to a versatile RB would be an interesting thought. Before you discount such a theory keep in mind that they just got done doing the same type of scenario with Coy Wire. Wire used to play LB and Reed at one time was a RB.
  10. I can understand and agree with standing pat but I do wonder on the status of McCargo and, like you said, Okoye is a beast. Thanks for your perspective, it's probably the right thing to do.
  11. If there is too much of a risk of losing out to Miami, San Franciso and whoever else, then trading with Houston could make sense for both parties. We get a great young prospect at DT and if Houston is needing a RB then maybe Adrian Peterson could fall to them. If Peterson is gone, then more realistically, Marshawn Lynch would be a decent value still for them at the #12 pick. The points on the value chart do match up but should we attempt another McCargo type move here for a potential bluechip player?
  12. I have to agree with Simon. I lost alot of, if not all, respect for him when he went to Miami. He could of went anywheres else and I would be thrilled to see him in the Hall. When he tried to stick it to Ralph he overlooked that he was also sticking it to us the fans. My enthusiasm today has been toned way down for such a big honor.
  13. I think that if yo0u past the surface, there might more to Lelie than what meets the eye. I see him as a viable WR that is a huge upgrade over our current 3rd, 4th and 5th WR. The issues in Denver might be overblown. Shanahan is a hardass and once that you are on the wrong side of him you stay there. I will say that Lelie was very influential in pulling the WRs together in Atlanta and had a great attitude while he was there. Face it, Atlanta has their own share of problems and it wouldn't be accurate to blame it on Lelie or put him under that umbrella of responsibility. I see him as a great 2nd WR and Price in the slot. Lelie could and would stretch the defense and allow Evans to strut his stuff. Evans is the kind of WR who can take a short pass and turn it into a long gain. I don't think that we'll have anything to debate anyways. It looks like Lelie is somehow connected to a San Fran coach. He played in Hawaii in his college days and that might be the connection. The 49'ers are really in need of a big play WR, especially after the off field problem they had with Bryant this past season. Lelie would be a great fit.
  14. He's now a UFA. He does have blazing speed with big play ability. Playing opposite Evans and/or in the mix with Price might be a interesting idea. This thought does make me wonder about the status of our O-Line. Will we improve this unit more? More importantly, how good is our O-Line? Just asking.
  15. The meltdown that Denny Green had earlier in the year makes him a pretty good favorite but I think the comments that were the icing on the cake for costing Jim Mora his job is the winner. Why in the world would he be even be suggesting that he would love to coach somewheres else as he is already a head coach of another team during a season? What a mook!
  16. The Redskins once again have overpaid some players and still have gaping holes to fill. Their WR corp is an expensive mess and their defense doesn't really scare anyone. Financially MaGahee could be attractive for them while they platoon him with Ladell Betts and we would still secure our backfield as we get rid of this idiot. We are well under the cap and could afford such a move, especially if Portis were to be restructured. This is only a basic idea but one that might be worth expanding on. I'm just not sure if the "high character" criteria comes into play here, seeing that we're still dealing with a player from The U.
  17. Watching the Colts showed that this type of defense can be successful against the Patriots. I know that we got a ways to go before a true comparison can be drawn but I do believe that we have a great core so far and happier days should be ahead. One more game to go and then it's the off season hibernation. I can't wait until next season!
  18. In all honesty, he could have been misquoted. I would like to think that he said that it was the most exciting AFC title game. If he got caught up in the moment and had a slip of the tongue, I could understand that and forgive him. Although, after the thrill subsides, he should regain his composure and remember his ties to Buffalo's organization because we all know what the greatest and most exciting comeback is of ALL time.
  19. I noticed that you didn't mention what these four former did provide and that is some Super Bowl appearances. It's much easier to accept the bad with the good, I'm just wondering where the good is with MaGahee.
  20. For me it's Miami. I never liked them, never will. It started when they rolled us for a decade and there has never been a good reason to stop.
  21. Yeah, they look terrible as they prepare to play for another AFC title game. Brady stunk it up as he threw for all those come behind points. Say what you want but this team/organization is the kind that I would love the Bills to become.
  22. They get the 24th overall pick from the Seahawks for Deion Branch and then they have their own pick which is anywheres from 28-31. Hate to say it but theytruly are one solid organization. The kicker is they will probably trade one of them for multiple picks and really make me want to throw up. Well not all is lost, the Fish should be flopping all over the place next year.
  23. If we were to trade MaGahee for a second or third round pick and then parlay that for another RB. I just don't think that WM is irreplaceable. It's not just because the guy opened his big mouth again, he's just not the greatest RB in the league. Between him looking for a big payday on his next contract and his idiotic mouth, I wonder just how great his value really is. Although it wouldn't be fair to put all the blame on him but the guy doesn't exactly dominate the league. For all the fans who think that he's our answer for now, I have some questions. How much value does he really have for us? Is he a huge improvement over Travis Henry? If we got a first day pick for him and were able to replace him with someone like Michael Turner, could this be an improvement? Or is it better to keep him and try to resign him after his current contract runs out? Just asking.
  24. The reason why your glass is half full is because you drank the other half and got drunk. You are one miserable dude. Go to bed and sleep it off.
  25. We can't possibly trade WM! He's the ONLY RB in the world. If we don't have him then Buffalo will never be competitive again. We MUST keep him. No if, ands or buts! Get real. Nobody is suggesting to let him go for no compensation, just get him replaced.
