I'm interested in what the team's chemistry is like after the purging of what was thought of as the team leaders. -

Can we put aside the wise remarks? If you don't want to ask anything valid, then why even post? -
Rumor: Looks like Washington is at it again, this time

I can hear it now, if the Patriots did trade up and drafted Landry then this would be the greatest draft move of all time. The national media will be tripping over each other stating that the Patriots know exactly what makes their defense work and in an unprecedented move they take a S early to once again be the innovators of the NFL. Ingenious! -

I actually meant New England but you know what, we're both right. Neither team will go away, one is a pain in the ass during the draft and the other one is a pain in the ass during the season. -

Welcome and nice insight. No doubt Buffalo could stand to use someone like Turner but unfortunately we have too many other needs that have to be addressed. Buffalo can't pay a king's ransom and won't but if it gets alittle pricey then maybe using something out of next year's draft can make a difference in addition to a first day pick this year. Good luck to your team and it's season, you guys right now have it going on. -
There is speculation that the Redskins are looking to trade that infamous #6 pick for New England's Asante Samuel and swapping of one of the Patriots's 1st rders. It's believe that New England would then select S LaRon Landry. Landry can play either S position or even CB if need be. IF there is any truth to this, I wouldn't expect New England to swap a 1st to do this trade. A trade for Samuel should only involve the draft pick only. To get the deal done a late rd pick (5th rder or later) on New England's part should be the maximum for compensation. Samuel is franchised and that means two 1st rd picks, so just one 1st rder and Washington should feel like they got a deal. Some of this speculation I read and some of it I heard on Sirius radio. They also said if it wasn't Landry that was the target then there was thought that it would be LB Patrick Willis . Their opinion was that Willis would be the ideal replacement for Tedy Bruschi. If this deal were to go down with Landry, then New England would not only be getting an awesome S but they would be in a very strong position to still draft a blue chip CB. Harrison is long in tooth and coming off that serious injury, so this trade does make an awful lot of sense. Belicheck is as good as it gets as far as coaches go but his true strength is the secondary. Imagine Landry and another 1st rd CB on this team in addition to the big FA signings they did on offense. This team just doesn't go away.

Nice take Kelly, I agree totally. If a 2nd rder or a combination of 3rd rd picks between this year's and next doesn't get it done then we should move on and take a RB with either our 2nd rder or one of our 3rd. No need for us to sweat this Turner. -

Who in the world would want to read a 219 page thread? I much prefer the shorter versions. -

If anyone is interested, I googled NFL teams' message boards and I found a pretty cool link. What is interesting is that both AFC Florida teams are the only teams with just one message board. What's up with that??!!! http://www.saintsreport.com/forums/showthread.php?t=175 -
Well, you did say that if Marv & Co. were satified with his committment then he would be a HUGE asset. It finally sunk into my rockhead. How does that saying go? Oh yeah, in Marv we trust!

I just would like to add that I'd like to see us use just one first day pick on a RB, whether if it's for Peterson, Lynch or even Turner and the rest of the first day picks on nothing but defense. I, like you, have a good feeling on our upcoming season. I think based on how we add another RB, either by the draft, by trading or even by free agency, it will clearly dictate how the rest of the draft will go for us on the first day.

Interesting concept for a post, looking at other teams' message boards and getting their fans' take on what's happening in the division. I think that alot can be learned and find it informative. I have to disagree though, I think what most of what those fans stated was pretty accurate. We should do something similiar with other message boards and get their takes and insights. While we hear their perceptions I think that we can learn more about their team. Matter of fact, I think I'm going to troll alittle bit and see if I can add to this post with what others are saying and thinking from around the league. -

Hey, it's nice to see that your face cleared up in time for Easter. I get a kick rapping with ya dude, have a Happy Easter. -
C'mon guys, no need to be like this, we're all Bills' fans. One person offered an opinion with their perception and another one rebuked it. It doesn't make either one of you right or wrong. The Dean, you have to admit that there is more than enough reason to cause concern with Ricky's desire and eligibility. He's risky just to be and to stay on the field. I wholeheartedly agree with your take on his ability but I think it goes way beyond just that factor. I actually think that he's probably a really nice guy and that there would be no need for concern about him fitting in as a teammate. He's definitely more than just a compliment to our backfield, he could be the man. It's just that we could get someone that is much younger and with no baggage for not much more than it would cost for Ricky. The question then would be why do it. If I were to guess what kind of compensation the Dolphins would be looking for then I would guess at no more than a 4th rder and no less than a 5th rder. Of course this guess is based on just a single draft pick. If the Fins were willing to part with a 6th or 7th rder this year and the same for next year then I would venture to say that this would be very tempting and it would have to come under serious consideration.

Although I don't frown upon Ricky, I just don't think that this would be the attention that our young team needs to prosper. We would be better off finding our own young prospect that we can groom for the future. I wish Ricky well and by no means view him in any kind of character or social issue, I just think that he's odd and wonder if he's truly committed to football and a team concept.

It's kind of pathetic when NFL Access opens their top story the other night with the Pacman interview and then speaks of the legacy of Grambling's coach Eddie Robinson as the secondary story. People gravitate towards negativity and that's what sells but to hear about athletes who care about making a difference in someone's life not as an athlete but as a person really restores a person's faith in this world. The Chicago bears' DT Tommie Harris did just that by being the person that he is. I'd rather hear about him, and people like him, then all this publicity of the poor character of someone like Pacman Jones. Here's a link to a story that's befitting to read on the week-end of the Easter Holiday. I hope you all enjoy it and a Happy Easter to each and everyone of you. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...bears-headlines

If you like tell me where you'll be after 1:00-1:30 and we can meet up, I got the church thing to do and that'll probably be around the time I can get there. It would be nice to meet up with somebody from around the area. -
Alot of the Dolphins have been released or traded. Cam Cameron has been pretty bold in purging this team and not really replacing the players as of yet. I'm more wondering that predicting but it wouldn't surprise me if Miami made a move up in the draft and selected Brady Quinn. Dante Culpepper isn't really entrenched by no stretch of the imagination as the starter let alone still being on the roster come opening day. Aquiring Trent Green and then grooming a young QB could make sense for the Fins. There hasn't been any significant talks or directions on what they are looking to do at the QB position. Matter of fact, they have been pretty quiet about the whole situation. Miami may have Ricky reinstated but between his head and age trading him could serve to be beneficial. They do have Ronnie Bown and drafting a RB in the 2nd, 3rd or even the 4th rd would be sufficent. Trading DL Jason Taylor off would create a twofold benefit, big savings in dollars and retaining a good value for him while they can. Their offensive line is in better shape than what meets the eye. They have Rex Hadnot at C, T Vernon Carey at RT, LJ Shelton for LT and I would expect Joe Toledo manning one of the G positions. They have a few other O-Linemen but none that really stands out. It looks like they could be a G short and this could lead the Dolphins to be looking along the lines of someone like Auburn's OG Ben Grubbs to man the other G position. Keep in mind that they have OL Coach Hudson Houck that came over from San Diego last year. He's their version of our very own Jim McNally. Detroit would make an ideal trade partner simply for the fact that they are supposed to be looking to trade down not just once but twice. They could get compensated with a top ten pick, veteran player(s) and what ever other draft pick(s) that it would take to comsumate this trade. Miami has in addition to their 1st rd pick is two in the 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th, no 5th, two 6th and two 7th rd picks. They could also borrow from next year's draft if need be. Trading with Detroit also would leapfrog Miami past Cleveland who is a definite threat to be highly interested in Quinn also. Cam Cameron being a QB coach and forming this team in his imagine makes a trade for a potential franchise type QB believable. I think that if this were to happen then this would shove Adian Peterson right in Cleveland's lap.

Matter of fact, I saw it on the scroll tonight on NFL Access along with the Michael Turner visit to Buffalo. -
Oh, I was without internet and now that I'm back this is what I see? I got news for you, your statements about me couldn't be further from the truth. ALL I do for a living is negotiate and I make six figures doing it. The irony of your statements got me laughing my ass off. Tell me more of what you know. I just went back and reread what I originally posted to see if it warranted such a rant from you. All I said was that AJ was picking up steam with Tennessee and us showing so much interest at the same time. I said it would be in our best interest to back off and see where the chips fall. Don't act like I'm insinuating that I think that I know all. Quit beating your chest and get off your pedestal. The kicker here is you're accusing me of thinking that I know what's going on but you think that you know something about me. You're a hypocrite pal, now shove that up your gnat's ass.
-
Good post but be careful, you might be accused of being a gutless sucker. What you stated is what I meant. If more than one team becomes involved too much then it drives Turner's stock up. At the risk of losing out it would be in Buffalo's best interest to just see where the chips fall with these FA RBs that Tennessee and ourselves have been talking to.

Thanks for the info, I live right here. Are you from this area? -
http://www.ffmastermind.com/quickbits.php Scroll down and read it. Ralph sent his private jet to pick him up and the Bills HAVE talked to AJ about the compensation. That's not what I'm perceiving, that's reality. There's alot of smartmouths on the internet but that's because it's on the internet. If you don't like or agree with what I say, fine, but the personal attacks are uncalled for.
