  1. Hey LABillzFan,you know what, you got a smart mouth. All that comes out of your mouth is poison. Did it ever occur to you that the reason why Willis does so good is because the Jets switched to a 3-4 defense and Vilma is having a hard time adjusting to it? When they played a 4-3 the guy was an animal. Of course not, you rather just bash people. If you don't like what I post then why do you bother? We are all Bills' fans and while my ideas might not be the best they are ideas. I'm getting sick of you jumping on my posts and trying to make me look like an idiot. Why don't you beat it?
  2. This could be an interesting trade that helps both teams. I don't know what would make it fair for both teams but maybe another pick from the Jets could even this up. They have two 2nd rders (#59,#63) and a 3rd rder (#89). I'll leave the compensation up to others but would this be a good idea to trade with a division rival for a MLB of this caliber? http://www.ffmastermind.com/quickbits.php http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=20741 Check out the second page of this thread. There's a guy beating a dead horse that's just too funny.
  3. Could it be that the cover 2 defense minimizes offenses and relies on having a stronger offense themselves? The Colts have dumped a ton of money on their offense and really address their defense as an after thought. I also didn't understand why Buffalo never seemed to be interested in RFA CB Jason David. I'm sure we can stand to use more help there and the Bills will do something but I don't think Buffalo is all that worried about their secondary. I'm really looking forward to the draft. I think that we're all in for another surprise this year.
  4. I didn't say wind sprints, I said shin splints!
  5. Geez, I hope he's not on Buffalo's radar. Between him being reported to be sliding in the draft and now this! In fantasy football if I even have an inkling that a player is injured I trade him. I don't want no DL with two broken legs, even if it is for cheap! http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm
  6. Rumor has it that it was their ex-dealer.
  7. Like I said it's really no big deal and I don't care but if they shave their heads and start doing yoga then I would get nervous.
  8. Two of these three teams are completely new staffs. I know if I were in the position to make decisions then I would accumale whatever players I felt would make a difference in my strategy. This way if I got the boot I know that I did it "My Way".
  9. Nice job Deano in noticing that tidbit. That's the one blurp that really meant something to me. My recital of the interview was pretty poor but the interview ended on that note and Ryan/Kirwan were pretty impressed with the impact of what Novacek just said. Hopefully this is a quiet dimension that Price can do for this team, being prepared and helping his younger peers. I'm really banking on us having a very surprising offense this year. *Here's a late add on from Adam Shefter, he's got some interesting tidbits as well. http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/10138086
  10. It's cool. That was real classy of you and no offense taken. As far as Marv taking so many DBs last year I THINK there could be a two fold reason and they are linked together. First, the players that were purged were of another regime, they weren't players picked by the current staff. I'm as sick and tired of this administration merry-go-round as the next Bills' fan but hopefully that's something Marv & Co. will provide, stability. The second factor is Marv could see what it would take to keep Clements and he also realized the future needs of the team and had to make a decision. There was an opportunity to take quality young talent at these positions and he seized the moment. At this point Marv did the honorable thing and promised Clements that he wouldn't tag him again, so Levy basically prepared for the future sans Clements. The DTs that were taken early, Ngata and Bunkley, didn't appeal enough to Marv for whatever reason. I believe Whitner has shown that we didn't make a mistake in taking him. Levy did make an honest effort to address this need still by taking McCargo and Williams. It's unfortunate that McCargo was injured and it was never proven last year how much he can bring to our team. I do feel that Williams was a good value pick for a 5th rder and he did bring something to the table for us. It's still too early to tell but in comparison Williams looks like a much better pick for a 5th rder than Anderson does for a 3rd rder. I feel that Donahoe should of had Clements resolved and why he didn't I guess we'll never know. Donahoe either made fantastic picks or he laid eggs. What disturbed me with Donahoe was when he did have solid players, he would allow them to leave via free agency. It didn't seem that we could keep continuity. This is, again, what I believe Marv provides for us. It's early, he has only been at the helm for a year and what he had purged and still is purging, has been in a very classy way as possible. All of this of course is only my opinion and perception, none of it being factual. Oh, by the way Bill from NYC, I enjoy rapping with you too.
  11. Good read. Brandt's usually right on the money with his evaluations. http://nfl.com/draft/analysis/expert/brandt/lb
  12. The Raiders have been flooded with phone calls about trading the first pick. They have now gone into negotiating contracts with Calvin Johnson and JaMarcus Russell. IMO Johnson is the pick here. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm Former Seahawks' WR Alex Bannister and RB Josh Scobey have made FA visits to the Buffalo Bills this week. Has ANYBODY heard anything about this??!!! It's not a big deal but it would be nice to have better local coverage. http://blogs.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/?...p;tb=1&pb=1 Old helmet head (Kiper) feels that the talent is only in the top 25 players. The Eagles pick #26 and sure would like CB Darrelle Revis but with his stock on the rise there's talk of him being the #1 CB this year. I wonder how the #12 slot looks to Philadelphia. http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=...18170&rfi=6 I was listening Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan on Sirius radio and they were interviewing former Dallas TE Jay Novachek. They asked him what his most memorable memory was. He proceeded to say that when he would go out for a pass and turn around, all he could see was huge O-linemen and D-linemen and no Aikman. When he would go back to the huddle, he'd ask Aikman if Aikman could see him. Aikman would answer no but he knew that Novachek would be there. Says something about chemistry, huh? *Sorry, no link.
  13. Who's to say that we will draft a MLB? If Crowell mans the middle then I think that we just need LB(s).
  14. Hey Deano, I like the Abe Lincoln look. Very creative.
  15. It was reported that it was a phony rumor to drop his stock. Life sure ain't fair, is it?
  16. I dunno. I noticed that I was about the only one using caps so I thought I'd make it optic friendly. I didn't know any better when I first joined the 'wall, I was new to the internet and blogging. I think that I kind of like the caps though. Should I keep it this way or go back to old TIPSTER19?
  17. It's interesting that the information of Lynch's visit comes on the heels of Marv's interview stating that he'd be surprised if we landed up with Turner.
  18. I'm 100% on board with that thought. Reading what Marv said I think that we're going with what we currently have at DT, regardless if you and I like it or not. Don't confuse what I understand and what I want. Some of what I post is my interpetation of what I think the the direction of what our administration is considering and some of what I post is what I want our administration to do. Either way I have no control over it but neither do you. As far as my understanding goes, whose to say my comprehension isn't as deep as yours? You?
  19. Yeah, I like that Revis pick. If we go CB in the 1st rd that's who I want Buffalo to snag. I'm not too sure if we're going for a FB though.
  20. Whoa buddy, why the attack? If you don't like how Marv deals, that's cool. I like what Marv has done and the way he handles himself. I don't think that every GM has to be sneaky and underhanded. We, unfortunately, have been in the top portion of the draft for quite some time and we'll be able to draft a quality prospect. That's no secret.
  21. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm If there is any truth to these rumors, then I find it very interesting that Arizona is in the mix. What this indicates to me is that the Cardinals want T Joe Thomas or they want to get in front of Cleveland for Adrian Peterson. Which one do you think it is? The other team that was surprising is the Redskins. How in the world could they move up??!!! The only way possible to me is involving next year's 1st rder and/or player(s) being thrown in for the trade. I guess the real question is who could they possibly want? That Snyder is a maniac! Atlanta being mentioned is making me wonder if they are indeed interested if they are looking to move out or eventually replace Vick. Trading for the second overall sure would seem that it's a QB that they want. There is one common denominator in all three scenarios that could be the reason. I'm afraid to say but is Adrian Peterson going to turn the top of the pecking order inside out? If so, what would the ripple effect mean to us?
  22. No, my favorite part was "I was innocent..."
  23. How does this fit under the character umbrella? To me it's not a big deal. It's amazing how these slurs pop up last minute, now Marshawn Lynch is getting positive press. Somewheres in between lies the truth, doesn't it? http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFLDr...extra041807.htm
  24. I posted this link just alittle while ago in an earlier post of mine but it actually belongs in this thread. I think that we stand a good shot of seeing Lynch on our roster come draft day. If so, that means that he passed the few question marks that are surrounding him right now and that would be good enough for me. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/dr...awn-lynch_N.htm
  25. I saw this article earlier and thought it was a great read. Gil Brandt is the man when it comes to football. He always is on the money.
