  1. Quite the contrary. I started this thread for this very reason.
  2. Hardy was on Sirius radio again today and what a great kid he is. He's mature, spiritual and a great possession WR with tremendous size. I wouldn't want us to take him at the #11 spot but I sure would love to see us do one of those moves that Buffalo has been doing the last few years in moving back up in the first rd or earlier in the 2nd. The only problem in trying to move up in the 2nd rd is that I just don't think that Hardy makes it out of the 1st rd.
  3. Scroll down a few headlines. It's only a matter of time before JP dons different colors, it's just a matter of where. I tried to find the article at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution but couldn't, I'm home on lunch and out of time. http://www.ffmastermind.com/quickbits.php
  4. Would Rivers be a good value pick for us if we don't take a WR and Harvey is gone?
  5. I think that teams will be a little more concern about the attitude and the potential headaches that may occur with the WRs in this year's draft. Limas Sweed's stock must have soared bigtime now after the Brandon Marshall/Chad Johnson fiascos.
  6. I don't think that airing complaints does anyone any good but I didn't think that Johnson was saying or doing anything too weird until the end of that interview. That's when he started going off the deep end. What a mess that whole situation has become.
  7. Ok scratch Bowman off the wish list. That's just too bad. Why, why in the world would someone destroy themselves over something so insignificant?
  8. Mike Mayock has rated Branden Albert the 7th best player overall in this year's draft. No matter who drafts him, I'm going to be pulling for him.
  9. He's the strongest TE at the Combine and is a great blocker with decent hands. He reminds me of the kind of TE that the Tuna would like down in Miami. http://craig-stevens-news.newslib.com/story/1018-3016932/ http://www.49ers.com/pressbox/news_detail....ction=PR%20News http://california.scout.com/a.z?s=166&...amp;nid=3225897
  10. C'mon HIGH MOTOR, where's the love? I never said for us to trade for Marshall this time, I was just talking about him being in the doghouse.
  11. I see that this is your first post, welcome aboard but don't get too discouraged just yet. I do agree though that the Patriots are a big obstacle to overcome and that the Jets had a huge free agency but we should still be able to be competitive in our division. I don't like that the Dolphins landed up with Wilford though. That's a step back for us and a step forward for them. They also have a great staff assembled and picked up some key aquisitions in G Justin Smiley, STer Tab Perry, DT Jason Ferguson and the big one to me, DT Randy Starks. I feel that this division is going to be alot tougher than what people are realizing though.
  12. I believe that Fairchild scaled back the offense last year so Edwards wouldn't get ruined too early in his career. Now it's time for Edwards and this offense to go forward and become more aggressive. They can say whatever they want but I believe that Edwards is the clearcut starter and there will be no true open competition. To take it a step further, Losman's a goner if the compensation is anything close to being reasonable. If they are looking to quicken the pace then it's even more apparent that our #2 WR will be a big body and they will occassionly go deep to Evans. Reed should figure into the gameplan more than ever. I don't think that we need a pure pass catching TE but I expect to at least see us aquire a TE with better pass catching abilities than what we currently have. Someone like John Carlson or Jacob Tamme would fill the bill. Posted by ESPN.com's Mike Sando
  13. Look at their QB depth. Who in the world would risk going through a season with that line-up? Sh--, we even booted Nall. Their GM Ted Thompson even stated that there is an advantage to having some experience at this position. Igt might not be Losman but I believe that it will be somebody other than what they currently have.
  14. There seems that Jay Cutler has just about had his fill will Marshall and his antics. Denver has a history of turning on their WRs and Marshall might be the next one. Knowing how Shanahan doesn't flinch when it comes to making trades it wouldn't surprise me to see Marshall on the trade block. That little Irishman is one vindictive SOB and once you're in his doghouse it's just about impossible to get out of it.
  15. My question is will Buffalo's compensatory pick in this year's draft be a memorable one or one to be forgotten? I'd like to suggest three prospects that could be available at this time of the draft. I believe that TE Jacob Tamme, C John Sullivan and WR Adarius Bowman would be a satisfactory selection for us with our 4th rd compensatory pick. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
  16. I wouldn't have a problem with us taking Albert with our first pick, especially if Derrick Harvey is already gone. I posted about a week and a half ago on this guy. He's a local boy from Rochester and I bet he would play his heart out in front of the home crowd. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=63752&hl= Go Bills!
  17. I would think that the Packers would be more interested in Losman more than Feeley. If so, this is where the Bills might land up with that big WR that they were looking for in Ruvell Martin. I wouldn't do it straight up but if they threw in their 5th rder that might a fair trade for all parties concerned. If you look at the Packers depth/roster chart you'll see that they don't have much, if at all, experience at the back up QB position outside of Nall. I could see the Packers having interest in an experienced QB like Losman as a back up to Rodgers.
  18. GM Ted Thompson feels there is an advantage to having some experience in a back up QB. I think that we can start expecting the market to heat up for JP. http://www.packersnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a.../1989/frontpage
  19. They think that this will be happening in the next couple of days. I'm disappointed in hearing this simply because I viewed him as a potential safety net in the event that Losman were to get traded. http://ww3.startribune.com/vikingsblog/?p=1488
  20. No doubt that they have had more than their share of top notch receivers. Does Devin Thomas become the next great one? http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...es.332c95d.html
  21. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10751709
  22. St Pierre played under HC Ken Whisenhunt when he was a OC for the Steelers. I really could care less about the Cardinals, Whisenhunt, St Pierre or Warner whatsoever but it does peak my interest if Warner were to be on the trading block. Miami is in need of a QB and I can't envision them drafting another QB on the heels of them taking one last year. What would be a better move is for the Dolphins to aquire a veteran for his experience and leadership and have him mentor their young QB John Beck.
  23. I don't think not getting Johnson is the one that we are going to regret getting away but more so Ernest Wilford. I won't blame the FO for not getting it because I have a sneaky suspicion that it had more to do with staying and playing in Florida and for Parcells' boys.
