  1. The guy has great hands and shouldn't be drafted too early (no pun intended). Tim Hasselbeck raved about the guy and now I see what he's talking about. Check him out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idNQS6k8SqQ&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBkslmBHx-s...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cytO2dxH_yw...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjWfFLWXKlQ...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9k_Ece2Bd8...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=batfN8W95uI...feature=related
  2. Calm down, we're only breaking some balls. If you check out any of ExpertOpinion's posts you'll realize that he chronicly changes quotes on his replies. It's all in good fun. Oops, did I misspell that? I have to agree. I remember when I went to a home game against the Bengals the year after they eliminated us in the AFC Conference title game and just before kick-off their two returners were trying to incite the crowd. The whole section just about converged on them and you could actually see them get unnerved. Needless to say that we promptly went on to thump them. Ah, the good old days!
  3. Do you think that it has anything to do with the jersey number? Flutie and Losman both have worn #7 and all hell broke loose. I think that if I were a QB I would take a number that's unusual, like #6 or #19.
  4. Every year it seems that the trolls come out from under the bridge right around draft time. They might even hang around as long as the season begins but once their teams start doing poorly they disappear. I actually kind of like when they come over here and start some of their sh-- and then watch them get blasted by the board members. that's when you read some of the funnier stuff on this board. Here's an invite to any and all trolls who wear armor, come on down!
  5. Um, Expert, I believe that was P.T. Barnum that you're trying to paraphrase.
  6. Isn't it strange that Tuna (Miami) is interviewing everyone BUT Matt Ryan? I think that it's a great ploy to get a team to worry that Ryan will slip to Atlanta and if they want him they better deal with Miami or St. Louis. The only thing with the Rams though, is everyone knows that they could use help on both sides of the trenches and they can just about have their choice at these positions. I see this as a move to get either the Falcons to trade up with them or a team like the Chiefs, Jets or Ravens to make a move for him.
  7. What the hell are you talking about??!
  8. Sorry Grandpa, your daughter hasn't filled me in yet. Thanks again for your knowledge.
  9. Well, there's 7 picks before them, so how should we know who is still available? If UConn's Donald Thomas is still there then I'd take him.
  10. For who's pick, San Fran's at #107 or Buffalo's at #114?
  11. The Giants just cut DT Manny Wright. He went home crying with his Super Bowl ring.
  12. Hi John, how ya doing? I'm curious about this aspect right here, you bring up an interesting thought. Is anyone familiar with what kind of WRs, and more importantly, and TEs Trent used in college? Did he utilize his TE much? If so then I think that you might be on to something here Johnny Boy.
  13. That's it?? That's all you got? C'mon, if you can't come up with something better than that, or funnier, then your posting privileges are under serious review for a possible suspension.
  14. Some here like to criticise and ridicule on our ineptness so I figured that if they were given the opportunity then they'll be able to provide us the solutions. Now the hot potato is in their lap, let's see what they can do with it.
  15. What would be the formula on how the Bills can get back to their glory days or to be the king of the division again?
  16. BS, that's ExpertOpinion to a tee! That's his alter ego in that video. Hey ExpertOpinion, who's the black guy bouncing off the fence?
  17. What kind of post are you looking for or expecting? Now how else are we going to parrott this sh-- that one reads, sees or believes? Keep in mind where you are at, a football forum. Don't get boring, get funny.
  18. C'mon, surely you can come up with something wittier than that. I hope that when Losman is done in this league that he gets hired at your office and becomes your boss. That would be poetic justice. I knew when I threw this post out there you'd be coming around. You're a pretty funny guy Expert, I like your sarcasm (even your name is sarcastic) and the way you bait some of the posters on this board.
  19. Don't be too surprised if Miami takes Kelly with one of their 2nd rd picks. This is the type of player and situation (bad Pro Day) that the Tuna likes to capitalize on.
  20. TE Jeremy Shockey may still be on the trading block. Last month the Giants wanted a 2nd rd pick and S Roman Harper but the Saints nixed the proposal. talks may be heating back up and it could happen by draft day. http://blog.nj.com/ledgergiants/2008/03/mo..._rumblings.html Who really believes that fat @$$ Tuna keeping the #1 pick overall? I'll give him credit though, he's trying his best to market that pick the best he can. Hearing him trying to negoiate with the top few picks so early only tells me that he's trying to get someone to bite on a trade. The only problem is, who in the world wants to pay $40-$50 million to a player for the right. Baltimore, that's who. I wouldn't be shocked to see a 3 team trade here involving Baltimore, Dallas and Miami. Ravens' owner Steve Bisciotti wants offense and this would be a great opportunity to grab their franchise QB. Steve McNair is ancient and Kyle Boller couldn't beat out JP Losman in college, so why wouldn't they go after Matt Ryan? The posturing that goes on is amazing. The Patriots are interviewing with DT Glenn Dorsey. Even if he did slide to them, what would they do with him? They already have Vince Woolfork, Ty Warren and Mike Wright. They are in some desperate need of LBs. Look for them to try and trade back to pick up some extra picks. The Eagles have now turned their attention to WRs Devin Thomas and James Hardy. They really do have an interest and need at this position after failing to make a trade for Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald. I think that they would still much rather move up in the draft but if they can't they'll most likely go WR because of the value at the #19 pick. Speaking of WRs, I don't expect the Bucs to go WR at the #20 slot but rather a LB or CB. They already have Joey Galloway, Ike Hilliard, Antonio Bryant, Maurice Stovall and Michael Clayton. It's not that any of them scare me but Derrick Brook's or Ronde Barber's replacements make more sense at this slot. Here's a Branden Albert interview. Warning! The following content contains some vulgarity (his favorite team growing up was the Dallas Cowboys). http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/interview...ndenalbert.html Here's some video highlights of Sedrick Ellis' Pro Day work out. Man, this guy looks like an a beast! http://yardbarker.com/college_football/art...ghlights/233470 Tom Rock from newsday.com reports that the Broncos and Jets' DT DeWayne Robertson already have a contract worked out and a trade should happen by draft weekend. The Jets may only be getting a second day pick for him. http://blogs.trb.com/sports/football/jets/...es_ripples.html Former Bucs, Dolphins, and Jets quarterback Jay Fiedler has taken up pro beach volleyball. I hope he keeps that beak of his out of the net. Deion Sanders appeared as a guest on "Best Damn Sports Show Period" and predicted that Bengals' WR Chad Johnson will not be on their roster for the upcoming season. Hmm, where do you think he'll land up? Well, that's it for now, enjoy.
  21. I'm expecting the Bills to look to convert a G to C somewheres in the 4th rd in this year's draft. It would fill dual roles and it is most definitely a position that needs addressing. UConn's G would be a good choice for us. A Center needs to have a strong punch, quick feet and good athleticism, which Thomas has.
  22. Based on success, I'm taking Edwards. I'm doing this for two reasons. First, I'm an obvious homer and two Edwards has already had a much better start in his rookie year which should propel him throughout his career.
  23. I'm sure that you didn't look that up. Nice guess.
  24. Here's a little trivia. Without looking it up, guess who our first draft pick was in 1983.
