  1. Remeber the Pro Bowl? It's great that while the Patriots have some records, stats and wins it doesn't sway the general consensus of the average football fan.
  2. How proud is everybody of our team and franchise? I'm extremely am, when we get this turned around we can all revel in knowing that we did it in a classy and above board way. This is the happiest I've been in a looonnnng time being a Bills' fan!
  3. I was at work all day and was very limited in what I could see but did the Patriots film anybody's draftboard today or anything of that nature?
  4. I second that motion! True dat, true dat.
  5. Enjoy the moment, you're a good fan lets_go_bills.
  6. I believe that they really wanted him all along. As far as the WRs go, I think Nelson and Devin Thomas were high on their list but weren't going to mortgage the farm for them, especially after how the first rd went.
  7. 3rd rd- C John Sullivan 4th rd- DT DeMario Pressley 4th rd- TE Jacob Tamme 5th rd- QB Kevin O'Connell
  8. I hope everybody is happy with what the Bills did today. I know alot of fans were looking for a WR or other fans like myself who were hoping for Derrick Harvey but I think it was a great, great day for the Bills and all there fans. As the time was getting nearer I found myself hoping the only player that we didn't take was Cromartie. I just think that McKelvin was a very solid pick and I hope that we can all be very happy together for at least one day. I think that nobody should feel disappointed at all about the WR thing seeing that none were even taken in the first rd. Imagine if we were the only ones taking one with the #11 pick and nobody else did. We would all feel pretty shi--y in hindsight and I believe that we would have all torn our front office a new one. When we took Hardy how joyous was that?! I do think that Green Bay caught some people off guard and it wouldn't surprise me if we were considering Jordy Nelson ourselves. I hope tomorrow is just as fruitful and everybody stays satisfied and optimistic. Cheers to the Bills and to each and everyone of you. Go Bills!
  9. We're still in good shape to get a decent WR! I'm worried about Philly, Tampa and Dallas though. If WRs can get by them then we could be rocking'! Go Bills!
  10. I'm stuck here at work and I'm not going to be able to watch all that is going to happen but I'm expecting BIG things to happen for us!! I don't know if we're trading up or trading down, trading for this player or trading for that one but TODAY IS THE DAY!!! This will be the draft that will put us over the top!!! Go you m#th@rf@$%ers!!!

Green Bay- TE Fred Davis 31. *Cheaters 32. NY Giants- CB Reggie Smith I thought that I'd update it one last time. Does this look reasonable?
  12. Miami has traded undisclosed draft picks for TE Anthony Fasano and LB Akin Ayodele.
  13. Man, does he sound alittle desperate or what? The time is ticking on Chad with the draft tomorrow and if a trade isn't completed by then then I think Mike Brown really will stick to his guns. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/04/25/...r-trading-chad/
  14. I do wonder why it's taking so long for this to happen. It might be because of the draft but if it's not done within a few weeks after then I'm not going to be as hopeful as I'd like. It seems like when the negotiations drag on with our players we end up losing them more than retaining them. I guess we'll have to wait and see on this one.
  15. Wow, that's impressive! Nice job George, I hope that you have a great party.
  16. If the reports are true that Philadelphia just traded Sheppard to the Bucs then that pick (#52) is three picks behind the Eagles' original pick at #49. I think that this trade doesn't hurt us but might even have helped. This trade leads me to believe that a) we weren't interested in Sheppard and b) that the Eagles might be willing to trade all the more now with us because if they trade us their original pick at #49 and they picked up the Bucs' pick at #52 they haven't lost much in value.
  17. I'm on board with you here Boone but I think that we just might be really trading down, like it or not. I'd rather see us take the best player available rather than draft for need.
  18. I looked up what KC could offer and their draft picks are very early in both rds (2nd/#35 and 3rd/#66). I don't see KC trading their 2nd rder due to overpaying in value and us just taking their 3rd rder because it's not enough. If the Eagles and Bucs work something out for Sheppard then I guess if they still wanted our pick then what would be fair is if they traded their 2nd rder (#49) only. The value would be their for both teams in that scenario.
  19. No one should be laughing at you friend but I do need to tell you that I did read something where they said that Arizona's front office won't even let Boldin's agent seek a trade. on another note. I would think that we'd end up with an additional 2nd rder in this trade down. If so, what I would expect it to do for us would be for us to take a prospect earlier then we would normally. If not a C in the 2nd or 3rd rd then like a QB in the 4th or 5th. I'm only using the positions as an example but the principle would apply.
  20. He mentioned the obvious teams, Eagles and Chiefs, but said that Buffalo is really giving it some serious thought and that it should be a trade down for us. As far as I know the guy has always been accurate so I'm expecting the trade down. If this happens I think that we'll get James Hardy. He's the biggest, most accomplished out of the bunch but more so, he's the safest for us.
  21. Tampa's DE Greg White might be asking for a trade and if so this could present a twofold problem for the Bills. I'm assuming that the Eagles were looking to trade up for a DE and if Sheppard is going to be traded to the Bucs then maybe White becomes a part of the compensation. If these two teams do trade these players then they both will have resolved a need and will both be still looking for a WR. That means that a WR could be selected with the #19 and #20 pick, two less WRs for the Bills to choose from.
  22. If Derrick Harvey is still available then this could be tempting for Arizona. They need a DE and having the #16 pick keeps them away from a player like Harvey and at #11 it could make sense for them to trade Boldin. A player like Boldin would be a great marketing tool for the Toronto market also. I am curious that we haven't been more aggressive in our search for a WR so far but if Buffalo was holding back for a player like Boldin then the wait would have certainly been worth it. *Edit- I just read where the Cardinals are very much interested in a CB like McKelvin or Cromartie. One of them should be there at the 11 spot, maybe that would be of interest to them and they can still keep the #16 for a RB, which is supposed to be another position of interest for them.
  23. Oops! I don't know what the the hell I was thinking!
  24. Apparently there were a few unnamed teams that did and Allen Wilson of The Buffalo News is insinuating that Buffalo could be one of them. Does anyone have any other information on this? If there is any truth to this then this would be one fantastic trade. Other than offering our 1st rder I don't know what else we could do to make this happen. I do like this part of the article the most- Coach Dick Jauron would prefer a veteran over a rookie, and Boldin is a proven commodity and is better than any wideout in the draft. It’s also worth noting that Bills receivers coach Tyke Tolbert held the same job in Arizona during Boldin’s Pro Bowl rookie season. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/330658.html
  25. Using the draft value chart makes Sheppard's value worth somewheres around the 52nd-53rd pick (2nd rd). Philadelphia has the #115 (4th rd). The value for that is only 64 points, which would keep Sheppard's value very close to the 59th pick (2nd rd).
