  1. He has great play making abilities and having a creative OC like Daboll that could utilize his skills would be interesting to see. https://www.si.com/college/purdue/.amp/football/jim-mora-projects-purdue-boilermakers-wide-receiver-rondale-moore-third-round-nfl-draft-pick-2021
  2. We all know about him and the way he carries himself, always happy, nice to people and very proud and grateful to be a Bill. I am so happy to have a person/player like him on my favorite football team. It can get to the point where someone could take him for granted but his latest endeavor just really hit home to me. My father was a chef, I take food kind of personally. I once went on a Fuccillo cruise and and couldn’t believe how much people just threw away plates of food. It was disgusting and actually ruined the cruise for me to such a point I don’t care to ever go on one again. Now here we got Dawkins not only spearheading a food drive in his home town but actually handing it out personally. What a great guy! May God bless him for being the charitable person that he is, I’m quite sure that his parents are very proud of him and rightfully so. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/04/18/dion-dawkins-hosts-a-food-giveaway-in-his-hometown/ Oops, sorry CorkScrewHill, didn’t see that you already started a thread on Dawkins. Good for you, the guy deserves the recognition.
  3. I know you asked for a specific position but I could be satisfied if it were any 1 of these 3 positions. 2 of them I don’t believe or expect to come to fruition and that would be my 2nd and 3rd suggestion. 1. a monster pass rusher for obvious reasons. 2. not to beat an old drum but you did say what would a person want and that would be a huge upgrade at MLB. Edmunds is way too passive for my liking amongst a few other reasons for this desire. 3. a big time RB. While I like Singletary and Moss I just don’t think having 2 RBs like them will be that productive. If I were to choose between the 2 I think I would prefer Moss over Singletary. It’s really not a knock on Singletary, he’s an exciting RB but he’s not a big time RB, he’d be a great compliment to one.
  4. Staying at 30 and moving up in the 2nd rd makes a whole lotta sense! That’s a fresh take, I like it!
  5. That is exactly what I was thinking, moving up slightly to get a better player by using some of our later picks. By no means am I suggesting that they should gut this draft or any future ones, I believe that we could use 1 very good player while adding just a few compliment players out of this draft.
  6. How about Alabama’s DT Christian Barmore? I don’t think that Beane would have to trade up drastically to draft him and with the question marks with Harrison Phillips and Star Lotulelei he might be a good fit for this defense’s future.
  7. Instead of just staying where you’re slotted or even trading back to accumulate more pick(s), I would think that a team would be more afforded to take that shot to move up in a draft to be in better position to take a player that is projected to be a difference maker. The window for a team to sustain great success is usually opened for just a few years, especially due to the salary cap. Rosters are turned to some degree from year to year and then the contracts start to mount and catch up to a successful team, forcing them to make bigger changes.
  8. I would love to see the Bills acquire Njoku, he’d be a great addition. Imo he has nothing but upside all while being so young. I feel that he got himself into Cleveland’s dog house (no pun intended) and never got himself out of it. The Bills wouldn’t need him to block at all, he just needs to be the athletic pass catching TE that he is. Of course if the Bills did trade for Njoku then re-signing him to a salary cap friendly contract would be a must. That shouldn’t be an issue, Njoku has wanted to get out of Cleveland for quite some time now. Trade compensation could come in various forms, one being if the Bills were give up a 3rd rd pick (#93) and swap their 5th rd pick (#161) for Njoku and Cleveland’s 4th rd pick (#132). It equates basically to giving up a late 3rd rd pick for Njoku and a mid 6th rd pick.
  9. Seeing the picks the rest of the AFC East has compared to Buffalo it’s going to be interesting to see just what Beane has up his sleeve. The Jets and Dolphins each have two 1st rd picks and the Patriots pick at #15, the earliest that they have picked since 2008 when they drafted Mayo at #10. I like how Beane fortified the OL and how he also added to the LB position. I don’t expect either position to be addressed in the 1st rd. While some have hopes of the Bills to grab one of the top 2 RBs, Harris and Etienne, it would be a mild surprise to me if either name is called on Day 1 of the draft. The Bills didn’t lose to the Chiefs because of their RBs, they lost to them because they couldn’t get to MaHomes. Imo that really only leaves 4 positions to address in the 1st rd and that is WR, TE, CB and the DL. Although I, as in many, would love to see the Bills add Florida’s TE Kyle Pitts it just doesn’t seem reasonable nor feasible. As far as WR goes it’s obvious that we’re ok there for at least a year or 2. So I guess it should either be the secondary or the DL. Re-signing Wallace and the play of Dane Jackson last year may be enough to let the Bills just to focus solely on the DL. If that turns out to be the case what would you like to see happen? Do the Bills look towards the future without Star or does Horrible Harry fill that spot? Or is it a edge rusher of some sort, either DE or pass rushing OLB that will be addressed? It’s seems to me to be the latter but picking at #30 makes it pretty difficult to find a worthy player. I’m thinking that now that Beane has filled a lot of depth at certain positions and facing a cash strapped salary cap season that maybe, just maybe Beane goes for quality rather than quantity and uses a combination of player(s) and draft pick(s) to move up into the mid teens to low 20’s to be able to be in position to get such a player. No matter what I believe Beane is gonna have to make yet another bold move in this year’s draft to get the Bills back into some title games this season imo.
  10. I’m glad that you brought Dunlap up because if you didn’t I was gonna. Talking about continuity, if we were to sign both do you think that that would be an enticement to both those players, seeing that they played an awful lot of ball together and they be real in sync with each other, kind of like Hyde and Poyer in a mild comparison.
  11. Nice pick up but I’m thinking that there might be more to this signing. Looks like the Bills were a player for Ertz but the demand was too high, as much as a 3rd rd pick for a older veteran who is commanding a 8+M for the final year of his 5 year contract. I believe that Hollister was picked up not only because of Philly’s high demand for Ertz but also because Hollister fills a important capacity, replacing a combination of Kroft and Lee Smith, 2 aging veterans that were adequate at best in their roles. Enter Cleveland’s TE David Njoku. His 5th year option was guaranteed as of 4:00 pm Wednesday for just over 6M. He would be a great alternative to Ertz and he is much younger (24 yrs old) with a bigger upside. Cleveland is dishing out big money to UFA Austin Hooper, who they signed last March to a 4 year/42M contract and then drafted 4th rd pick Harrison Bryant a month later. The Browns have a awful lot of money tied up at this position. I can see the Bills trading Knox and a later rd pick, if not a 2021 pick then possibly a bit earlier of a pick in 2022 for Njoku.
  12. I don’t know so I’m asking. Will this give Edmunds greater value? I’m not impressed with his pass rush but if I’m thinking correctly his pass coverage is pretty decent, especially when he’s paired up with Milano. Not liking the idea of the Patriots employing 2 pass catching TEs again though.
  13. The guy is a playmaker and he would be a great addition, actually making a softer position for the Bills into a strength. This defense needs a player like Mosley, he could be the difference in making this defense formidable.
  14. I stand corrected. I always thought he was much smaller, my bad but it always seemed like the bigger WRs would chew him up.
  15. Obviously I don’t know what I’m talking about, looks like Ngakoue and the Raiders came to an 2 year agreement. Oh well, I’m gonna change it to a trade with the Jets for lB C J Mosley.
  16. I always wanted to go to at least 1 game at every stadium in league. Looks like Fitz is gonna beat me to the punch.
  17. Good, I’d like to see the Bills replace him with a taller CB.
  18. That’s why Feliciano and Ford are a good addition to the OL, to handle scumbags like him.
  19. Now that Feliciano is re-signed I fully expect Beane to go after a high end Guard in either free agency or by trade. Feliciano did not get starter money and I’m thinking there’s a reason for that. His versatility at C and G is invaluable but we did not have a ground game last year and it’s no secret that Beane is going to change that. Either Ford, who I believe will be, or Feliciano will be starting at G while the other backs up. Morse restructures, there’s our C, Dawkins and Williams are solidified at the T positions, so that leaves the G position the one that needs to be upgraded. Beane can’t count on Cody yet and I believe that Beane knows what Feliciano’s capabilities are. Drafting and expecting a rookie to be able to man that position as a starter doesn’t make sense either, especially drafting at the #30 spot. if this turns out to be accurate then that’s 1 less need to address in the draft right away. The other glaring need that needs to be addressed is a outside pass rusher. Once again I expect that to be fulfilled either by trade or signing a FA. if these scenarios play out then it allows Beane to really be able to draft BPA. In my opinion that would make one of these top RBs to be that. A #2 CB could be the call as well but I’m hoping that someone like Xavier Rhodes to that guy. Hopefully Poyer did a good job of promoting Buffalo this last off season.
  20. Btw, I noticed Cleveland’s TE David Njoku commented and that Diggs follows him on Twitter. Wouldn’t surprise if those 2 don’t try and recruit him, Lord knows we need help at that position and Njoku is young on top of it.
  21. Proud of Poyer, took a lot of courage to step forward, especially because he didn’t have to. This is kind of stuff that makes great leaders, taking accountability. Go Bills!
  22. Thanks for posting! Love it!
  23. Great kid and a great family but I’d like to see a MLB write history, not children’s books. I really think that we could do better at that position, maybe a position change for Edmunds and replace him with someone who can play that position with more intensity.
