  1. You shouldn't talk so mean to me, you're hurting my feelings. I'm glad that you got the point, you're very clever. BTW, if this a worthless thread then why are you responding to it along with the other 50+ people? Hmm, maybe you're not so clever.
  2. I was hoping that we would trade up in that draft and take Peterson. Oh well.
  3. Not a bad concept for a high profile athlete to pay a "nobody" to take the rap for him. We might start seeing more and more of this type denial of responsibility from these "star" athletes.
  4. You can say that again!
  5. You never know, an Anthony Thomas jersey might come back in style. This might not be a bad investment at this point in time.
  6. I think that that will be based on how successful both teams are early in the season. The more wins, the higher the value.
  7. True but the guy is fast and we all know how Al Davis loves speed.
  8. No doubt, the guy can play and now that our standards aren't so rigid, why not take a shot on the guy? Give him a one year contract loaded with conduct clauses to protect ourselves so we can put a winning team on the field this year.
  9. I think that if the Bills, or any other team for that matter, want to lower their standards on a player's character for the sake of their ability than they should load their contracts with conduct provisions. This is too big of a business and these players get paid quite handsomely to not have guidelines on assuring their organization of being available to play.
  10. Whew! I'm glad that we're not banking our season on Lynch. I'm comfortable relying on Edwards as long as he can stay healthy.
  11. This is a serious offense! I could see a half season suspension for this infraction.
  12. It might serve him best to change it again, this way he might be harder to identify in a line-up.
  13. If he were to buckle down and get himself in shape he could have a monster year.
  14. I don't agree with your actual breakdown of how we would miss out of the play-offs but I wouldn't be shocked with your end results though neither.
  15. Are you insinuating that we the Buffalo fans have double standards? That concept would be shocking!
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong but other than having disgruntled players with their contracts I haven't heard or seen too much about their players having legality issues. They have a young team also and were heavy hitters this year in free agency/trades. It wouldn't be too surprising if they threaten for some kind of post season play this year. Another thing that I noticed is that like alot of control freaks their FO likes to censor more then they have a right to. That could cause unneeded dissension for them and become a problem but other than that they could be a big nemisis for the Bills this year. Their QBs are not the greatest but their RBs and WRs are pretty lethal and they could wind up being a very dangerous team for the Bills this year.
  17. The answer to that is simple. If he was not at the scene of the CRIME then he is accountable civilly. If he was the diver or was in the vehicle at the time of the CRIME then he is accountable criminally and civilly.
  18. I mean the current situation that involves Lynch's vehicle that hit a woman and took off and left her without checking on her welfare. That situation. Bottom line is even IF Lynch wasn't the driver or in the vehicle, he owns the vehicle and that makes him accountable to SOME degree.
  19. You are absolutely right, people do deserve a second chance but that doesn't lessen the current situation.
  20. Another prime example of double standards.
  21. Why in the world didn't we trade for PacMan Jones??!!! I see that our standards either never existed or have been lowered considerably. In light of this, why didn't we try and get some of the best players available? If the Bills are willing to overlook moral standards, why go halfway? Let's get the best players available and field a winning team, then everyone can be excited about what we can do on the field. Throw out how they fit in society, winning is everything and we have fared poorly in this area for the last several years. This is the age of technology, plastic and winning. There is no need for virtues and values in this day and age and I'm ready to adjust to it. I think what Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are doing is fantastic and I want a piece of that pie. I'm glad that this Marshawn incident happened because it is the best thing to happen for us. It has begun a new era for us and allows us just to sell out and do anything that's needed for us to win. I'm just pissed that we missed out on PacMan Jones. Did you see that in his first practice with Cowboys he ran back a TD? Now THAT'S the sh-- I'm talking about! Let's get our priorities straight, that's the kind of player that we need, a big time playmaker. I don't care what he does off the field. Does it really matter how these players like him represent their team, organization and community? Hell no! Winning at all cost is what really matters the most. I made a mistake in how I tried to raise my kids and now it's too late, I see now that I made a mess out of their lives. Three of them are in their early to mid 20's, the oldest being married, the other two have dedicated their lives serving GOD and my 17 yr old is wasting his time in trying to be morally correct by sustaining from having sex. Education is BS, they should have focused more on athletics, that's where it's at in this day and age. There is still some hope left for my 17 yr old because he has a chance to go to law school to become a lawyer. Right now he's delusional because he wants to do this for "moral" reasons. I still have a year to try and reprogram his priorities. He's needs to understand that it doesn't matter if his client is right or wrong but more importantly be able to give the proper advice to his client so he doesn't foolishly incriminate himself. I can't believe how stupid I have been and can only hope that my kids can forgive me.
  22. I don't believe that you can claim that. As for me, I haven't seen or heard Lynch go public, the police are claiming that they are getting frustrated with his silence about the situation and this is how many days after the incident? I do agree that Lynch has much at stake and needs to be careful but let's not lose sight of what's really important here and that is a woman was struck by a vehicle and was left without knowing the extent of her injuries. That's not "Stand up and be a man" BS. That's how I was raised and that's how I roll.
  23. I didn't say everyone, that's your perception. My issue is with the driver that hit that woman and just left her. I don't need a judge or a jury to draw my conclusion on that. Whoever did that is a scumbag.
