    Last time NE faced a Schwartz D in a game that mattered: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201410120buf.htm The talent levels on the 2017 Eagles D and the 2014 Bills D are basically the same. Worth noting: the Bills held the Pats to 50 rushing yards on 27 carries.

    I don't watch college systematically enough for my opinions to matter. That said, I liked the idea of getting Wentz until it became implausible (given how high he went), and the hill I will die on is Darnold, who I think is going to be a great NFL qb.

    I realize the Pats hatted runs strong here, as it should, but it is actually possible to play excellent D and still commit a dumb (and obvious) penalty. He doesn’t get a mulligan for playing great D.
