Deion Sanders said last week that he wouldn't last the season and that he looked like someone who was pretty much done with the game. Granted, he didn't predict this injury, but he referenced how banged up of a player he was. I expect that his career is pretty much over.

Josh Allen himself had a partially torn MCL (the Tommy John ligament) last year (Houston game). Someone posted research on QBs with that injury that showed that it's not that serious of an injury given how they throw the ball.

I don't think that's it. Ty N is battling injuries right now and can't stay on the field for every snap.

Bridgewater is one of those guys who looks OK because he makes safe decisions and completes a lot of passes, but then you look up and the team has 9 points midway through the fourth quarter. I feel like I'm watching late-era Kelly Holcomb when I watch him ...

Wentz played very well in the first game. And Allen still hasn't hit on a deep pass yet. All have been overthrows.

It was 15-20 yards away. No excuses—you gotta catch that in the NFL.

It might not sound like it, but I sorta am focusing on the positive. I like this offense a lot.

Daboll seems to be taking criticism for third quarter playcalling. However, on top of the constant pre-snap penalties, the Bills couldn’t execute two easy and well designed passing plays that should have produced big yardage. An open Dawson Knox let a perfect throw go right through his hands, and that would have been a 15-20 yard play. Later, in a great play call, Josh Allen missed a wide open John Brown badly on a play that had big yardage written all over it — maybe even a TD given his speed. Gotta convert those. Poor execution changed the whole tenor of that quarter.

Agreed, mostly.

He is getting abused.

Boy, the Bills got a real gift there. Clearly a fumble.

Eli is 1-6 in games against McDermott defenses over the years. Granted, a bunch of those games were shootouts (38-35; 45-38). McDermott’s 2013 Panthers D did shut out Eli in 2013.

I think it's more that he feels the need to protect his shoulder. His legs aren't the issue now, and he's gotta be highly aware that shoulders take a beating in the NFL on running plays.

I think he's clearly hurt, but I also think that his shoulder may well heal in time. This looks like it's going to be a rough season for him, however. He was laboring to make throws last night, and it appeared to be affecting his accuracy. He's never been the most accurate QB, but he was way off last night - out of character, basically.

I think he's due for a down season because of the arm, but it's also the case that it simply hasn't healed yet. He may be fine next season.

You know what bugs the hell out of me about Williams? He clearly dyes his hair but is so freaking vain that he actually sculpts the dye job in such a way that a prominent white streak features in front. I'm sure he thinks it makes him look good, but he looks like a goddamn skunk to me. Which is fitting.

yeah, but that was more a heat-of-the-moment thing - he had been flattened and then fallen upon, and that's the sort of thing that would make a lot of people chippy. GW plans this stuff beforehand.
