  1. They should have lost to the Bears and barely beat the Ravens, Seattle, and TN. Regarding the Vikings, I think they're a slightly better team the Pitt, and especially at home. And while the Lions aren't good, they have literally lost 5 games by two points or less. They're not the worst team in the league by a long stretch. The Jets, Houston, and Jax are all worse, and I'd pick the Lions to beat the Giants and Carolina if they faced off now. The Steelers are what their record says they are.
  2. I said “for a second.” I am not projecting a loss; I am making a point about the Bills’ mathematical chances even if they lose that game. Jeez.
  3. Brutal for every one of them: Cleveland: GB, Pitt, Bengals Pittsburgh: KC, Cleveland, Baltimore Baltimore: Cincy, LA Rams, Pitt Cincinnati: Baltimore, KC, Cleveland the non-divisional games for all of them involve either KC, the Rams, or GB. It’s very hard to see how the Bills don’t make the playoffs with a 10-7 record (assuming for a second a loss to NE).
  4. I simply thought that carolina was only playing the run and that the game was in deep garbage time.
  5. He was a total disaster and embarrassed repeatedly by Burns.
  6. Daboll is not going to be the Jags coach.
  7. This is very good for Bills fans in NYC (like myself). So many Bills games don't get shown because the network is required to show a crappy Jets game. If they play at 9:30 am, I don't have to worry about that.
  8. Jimmy Johnson.
  9. That’s not even close to what “Karen” actually means.
  10. I don't think their pass pro is that bad; the issue is that because the run blocking is so bad, teams can tee off on the pass.
  11. I'd add that he hardly ever throws those deliberately short throws that are intended to generate a DPI call. Rogers, Roethlisberger, and Brady do that all the time.

  13. It was indeed 4th and 3. Gotta kick the FG there because the run option won't be there.
  14. As I've said repeatedly, any conspiracy theory about favoring certain teams because of ratings potential that doesn't include the Cowboys is wrong. Outside of the northeast corridor sports media, there is far, far more enthusiasm for and interest in the Cowboys than any other team.
  15. We also drafted Ford as an OT and moved him inside too.
  16. I had my issues with the officiating and I believe it cost the Bills the game, but this is dumb conspiracy stuff (e.g., point spread arguments). Also, it wasn't third down when the PI called against Wallace happened; it was first and 10.
  17. Yep, and when your strategy for guard is moving failed tackles inside, that's doing it wrong.
  18. More on Rashaad Penny, who will be a FA this offseason: was a first round pick, has a career ypc of 5.1 on 204 carries, catches passes thrown to him 76 percent of the time, and has just one fumble (0.49 percent fumble rate). Not many tracks on his treads either, and he'll just be 26. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PennRa00.htm Not expecting it every season is called sane realism.
  19. What about Rashard Penny? https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/14/pete-carroll-rashaad-penny-deserves-a-shot-to-show-he-can-be-a-starter/ He's going to be FA this offseason and clearly has talent (he was a first round pick). He has been a disappointment in Seattle, but maybe a change of scenery will get him going?
  20. Singletary's average is 4.9, which is 8th in the NFL and 5th among running backs. He's a pretty solid player.
  21. My guess is that if they didn't value guard before, they do now.
