  1. I feel as though he would be an awesome weapon on offense, but if you lay a big hit on him, he might die...how many guys are there in the NFL that wiegh 168 and can take a punishing? Even though it might make his slower, he should really add 10-15pounds to protect himself out there
  2. I didn't see him get any carries for the fins...whats up with him?
  3. Man, I can't remember the last time I felt so at ease watching the Bills play KNOWING they were going to win on opening day (maybe in '93 when they spanked the Pats)....JP looked great, Willis ran hard. our D was unbelievable, and Lindell hit ON ALL OF HIS FG'S ATTEMPTS! with that said, next week we got the Bucs, and they looked great against Minni-choka Let the ride begin!
  4. I have Trent Green on my squad too, is his leg ok, I heard he had surgery last week And yes, I do hate the Pats, but gotta give it up to them...enough of that, LETS GO BUFFALO
  5. I gotta admit, a casual observer would read these posts and definetly think we were the biggest sore losers in the world. Have some dignity and admit the Patriots are a damn good franchise whose won 3 Super Bowls in the last 4 years...Our Bills used to be the class of the AFC, but that was 10 years ago, I'll be the bigger man and admit that the Patriots are flat out great and have been...I'm amazed that whenever the Pats win, we come up with stupid excuses like --- the refs help them win, Tom Brady got lucky, Bilecheck has a voodoo doll.. With that said, I hope our Bills can stay competitive this year with the Pats, b/c they are the standard that we're striving to be....its alot easier to live life if you know the truth
  6. God I hope Orton has a good year throwing the ball to Mushin Mohammed because Mo' is on my fantasy squad..
  7. Thanks, just ordered my Willis McGahee Jerz in Medium...great deal only 68 bucks, tax and shipping! im excited its my first bills jersey since 93
  8. ah chucks....ok, so maybe he'll be back by game 4
  9. I'm with you on that...I always have it in the back of my mind he might get injured...yeah doom
  10. whats more disturbing, JP making this quote, or the fact Farve had little red shorts on and was covered in dirt when he opened the door to greet him?.......yoooooo hooooo JP
  11. "I'm intrigued by No. 71. If he comes along fast, and they plug him in there early and he's better than expected, then they've solidified the left tackle spot." Dr Z. I'm excited about Jason Peters...boy he truly could be a diamond in the rough for the Bills
  12. hey Guesswhozback21....I picked that exact name for my fantasy football team, thought it was an original idea, ah well
  13. I don't know what it might be, but RWS doesn't sound as loud as I remember from the early to mid 90s (on TV anyway)....When I watched games back then, the echo from the crowd coming through my TV speakers was really loud. Infact, that's what the Bills fans were known for, being the loudest right? Anyway, educate me fellas, has the voice chords been damaged, or the lack of good football in Buffalo contributed to lower levels of loudness
  14. God Bless Hunter...and God bless Jim and his family
  15. Training camp less than 2 weeks away....oh yeah
  16. terrible post. Travis was a quality back for the Bills while here...Things didn't work out, and it's time for everyone involved to move on...
  17. Hmmm, I've never heard of a backer package...That would be awesome to meet Thurman, it would be very surreal for me
  18. Has anyone heard how Thurman is doing with his battle of alcohalism? He was my all time favorite Bill, and I remember having the "Thurmanator" poster in my room and rooted for him like no other....I curious to what led him to alcohal, and wonder if bad moments in the SuperBowl (forgot helmet, fumbles against Dallas) played a role.. In any case, I look forward to his ceremony at the Ralph this year
  19. I remember him being a great complement to Thurman Thomas...He was a 7th round draft choice if memory serves me correct and was an inspirational story for making the team and doing well...however, I'll always remember the fumble on the 1 yard line against San Fran, and it getting returned 99yards sealing the game
  20. just another sick gross story you guys keep posting, dammit, stop!
  21. don't understand what that has to with anything..but ok
  22. I log onto this board in the morning, trying to find some football related posts and constantly see posts - "man eats wife" ..or "kid rapes dog" ..I mean come on! I know the season hasn't started but these topics are so way off it really degrads this great Bills forum
  23. Buffalo Bills Best move: Moving on from Drew Bledsoe (23-25 in three years as the Bills' starter) and handing the reigns to last year's first-round pick, J.P. Losman. Don't mistake this for a "step back to take a step forward" type deal. No. The Bills' brass sees Losman, despite only five pass attempts as a rookie, as an improvement over the more-proven Bledsoe. Had Losman not gotten hurt, in fact, and the Bills not gone on a late-season run, Buffalo would have started the transition last year. Losman moves much better than Bledsoe (remember, he timed 4.6 in the 40 coming out of Tulane). Expect Mularkey to utilize his QB's athleticism on rollouts, bootlegs, and designed runs, similar to what he did with Kordell Stewart in Pittsburgh. Buffalo signed veteran Kelly Holcomb from Cleveland just in case. Biggest question mark: You mean besides the young quarterback and whether he can effectively lead a veteran team while shedding the "punk" perception some teammates had of him last year? Probably left tackle, then. Starter Jonas Jennings left via free agency for San Francisco, leaving the Bills with Mike Gandy to protect Losman's back side. If Gandy can't cut it, the Bills will be left scrambling, Losman especially, except more in the literal sense. Another unanswered question is: What Buffalo will get in return for unloading disgruntled running back Travis Henry, who is said to have loaded up and moved home to Florida until he's dealt? Team president Tom Donahoe may be forced to come down from his asking price of a first-day pick. Bottom line: The Bills played well enough in the final three-quarters of last season to make the playoffs, only they just stunk it up against the Steelers' scrubs in the regular-season finale. Ten of 11 starters, the exception being defensive tackle Pat Williams (Minnesota), return from the league's second-ranked defense. Stud running back Willis McGahee is another year removed from the devastating knee injury he suffered at the University of Miami. Wideout Lee Evans had a strong rookie year on which to build, and Buffalo added UM speedster Roscoe Parrish in the draft. Buffalo had a quiet spring, but if Losman is what the Bills believe he is, they'll make plenty of noise come fall and winter.
  24. oh i'll be there with 20 of my buddies...but i wont be watching the horses
