  1. No, I don't have any evidence the bills will be good next year....Obviously there are many holes to fill along with a completely new staff, new management etc. With that said, I feel like the dark clouds have been lifted from Buffalo...With Levy's return the enthusiasm I once shared as a kid growing up rooting for the Bills has returned..I can't explain it, but I just feel good about this team again, like I once did during the glory years...maybe its the connection to the past which has blinded me with the optimism that I now have..or it maybe its that TD and his mis-mangement is no longer here.....but I gotta feeling 2006 will surprise us in a good way...don't forget this thread at the end of next year.
  2. Tough injury to come back from...any word on his status?
  3. The Superbowl was basically a home game for the Steelers...Where was the 12th man for the Seahawks? I mean, I litterally saw 10 seattle fans shown during the game, and I swear they showed one guy twice You'd think the first time your team makes it to the big one, the fanbase would be a little bit more eager to be there
  4. Might not be a bad thing...Here in DC it's worked out great with Gibbs back on the job, and that team is 2 wins away from the super bowl....ok fantasty time now...Marv comes back, coaches us into the Superbowl next year against Gibbs, and gets his revenge!!!!
  5. I'm definetly vying for Sherm...He's an experienced head coach, can tutor JP, and has more tools to work with than he did with Green Bay imo... he also just seems like a buffalo guy to me
  6. Sheesh, the guy has to fire all his staff, have a gm watch over his shoulder the whole year, possibly get replaced by a coordinator if he loses 2 in a row.....not an ideal situation if you ask me
  7. and bring Jim Kelly to be the offensive coordinator
  8. Wake up NFL! Don't reward the loser teams with high draft picks, but give the highest ones to the teams with the best records that didn't make the playoffs.... This is will improve the quality of play in the league down the stretch as it gives loser teams something to play for
  9. Looks like a prime time coaching candidate....if I had to pick from MM or GW, I'd take GW, look at Washington's D with no name players
  10. would we even be discussing this had JP just thrown the ball nicely to Josh for a TD? he was open on that play...hindsight is always 20/20
  11. I'd love to see JP beat New England...how sweet would that be...at this point we're the spoilers GO BILLS!
  12. I want this to be a positive post thread. Up to this point, what are some positives so far from this season (please no sarcasm) 1. JP Losman developing nicely after poor start 2.
  13. what's he done in 2 years here? our line is probably worse off...and dont give me he's working with less talent, thats just bs every coach on this staff deserves blame
  14. "I'm licking my chops in fantasy football next week because I own Corey Dillon. " ha...me too, he's gonna run wild
  15. i agree...put JP back in there....Peyton said it best --- you gotta play the game to learn it and develop (or something to that effect)
  16. I think that was his name, he was the GM for the Red Sox who got fired and was replaced by Theo Epstein. Anyway, he was a pretty good GM who brought in the corner stones of the franchise, but still the Sox didn't enjoy too much success....he then got canned, and was replaced by new blood, Theo Epstein....Epstein took the existing club, and with brilliance added some key players and BAM! just like that a contender..Everyone forgot the important players Dan brought in to set the stage I see a similar pattern in Buffalo...TD has brought us the key players, but we havn't experienced success....it may just take a smart young GM to come here and somehow make this thing work with what's here, and add to whats missing
  17. We win, we're in first again, and head into the bye....is that enough motivation for this team???
