The square cloud post? Of course that’s what it is. A small trail that got longer as it dispersed. Oh I see that you meant the vid. Yeah also a contrail. But the music made it worth posting.

Brees out 6 weeks. Big Ben out for the season.

They have a very good backup in Bridgewater. Probably in better shape than most teams in this situation. -

Maybe. They played what could be a historically bad team week 1, and last year’s worst team in week 2 (not winning in convincing fashion). Like the Bills, let’s see them beat a team that matters. Ravens play the Chefs this week. -
Love our OL .. Electric Company Reincarnated?

That’s fair...but the name was given by its relation to “the Juice.” My only quibble was noting that I’d prefer not to honor him. Joe D, Mckenzie et al deserve all the love. Just sucks for them that their group has a nickname forever tied to Simpson. Sucks even worse that the Bills still celebrate that POS on the Wall. It’s an honorary thing to be on the Wall. Take down his name. He brings only dishonor. No one will cancel their tickets and it will remove a blemish and embarrassment from the names up there. -
Primetime is BacK!!!!Back!!! BacK!!!!!!

After last night, they put the night game highlights into the middle near the 30 min mark, which was awkward because some other guy did the voice work without all the music and fun. It would be better tacked at the end. Could not agree more. And even my kid loved it. -

That nickname included a guy we don’t need to celebrate. The line is still flawed (Gmen who are good up the middle gave them some trouble at times yesterday) but the difference from last year’s grocery baggers is marked. -
Playoff chances with a 3-0 start

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not spitting on the wins. Just saying that the schedule has tougher games than the last two weeks so I’m not thinking playoffs until they match up against some actual playoff caliber teams. -

Not exactly a Spider-Man reboot. The plot is new every Sunday. -

It was as fresh as ever. The great music, Berman with the funny lines and sound effects. A few minutes of analysis after every second game. If you’re an NFL fan, it is excellent. I showed it it to my NFL fan daughter this morning and she loved it. (Again, weak Bills package this week so don’t judge it based on that one. The rest were much better.) They even wedged in (minus Berman and Tommy) the late game. -

Wow, have a heart man. I realize this thread turned into the “ESPN sucks” thread but I just watched Primetime for 30 minutes and it was great. Bills got one of the weakest highlight packages but sometimes that happens. I’d already seen that game so I can live with that. The rest were really fun. I can see myself watching that most weeks. -

Bills are playing easiest part of their schedule. A real kicker and they lose to the Jets. The Giants are a bad team. Things get a lot harder soon so let’s see some quality wins before we talk playoffs. -

Not true. Depends on what you believe or don’t when taking about your own beliefs and what god you’re discussing when talking about others’ gods. -
The Deep State War Heats Up

Sounds fake. Is real. This editorial was written by Mr. Cornel Nistorescu, managing editor of the Romanian newspaper Evenimentul Zilei, in which his piece was published under the title “Cîntarea Americii” (translated into English as “Ode to America”) on 24 September 2001. Still true despite the dividers. — Why are Americans so united? They don’t resemble one another even if you paint them! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing mixture of civilizations. Some of them are nearly extinct, others are incompatible with one another, and in matters of religious beliefs, not even God can count how many they are. Still, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a hand put on the heart. Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the army, the secret services that they are only a bunch of losers. Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts. Nobody rushed on the streets nearby to gape about. The Americans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping hand. After the first moments of panic, they raised the flag on the smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colours of the national flag. They placed flags on buildings and cars as if in every place and on every car a minister or the president was passing. On every occasion they started singing their traditional song: “God Bless America!”. Silent as a rock, I watched the charity concert broadcast on Saturday once, twice, three times, on different tv channels. There were Clint Eastwood, Willie Nelson, Robert de Niro, Julia Roberts, Cassius Clay, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Springsteen, Silvester Stalone, James Wood, and many others whom no film or producers could ever bring together. The American’s solidarity spirit turned them into a choir. Actually, choir is not the word. What you could hear was the heavy artillery of the American soul. What neither George W. Bush, nor Bill Clinton, nor Colin Powell could say without facing the risk of stumbling over words and sounds, was being heard in a great and unmistakable way in this charity concert. I don’t know how it happened that all this obsessive singing of America didn’t sound croaky, nationalist, or ostentatious! It made you green with envy because you weren’t able to sing for your country without running the risk of being considered chauvinist, ridiculous, or suspected of who-knows-what mean interests. I watched the live broadcast and the rerun of its rerun for hours listening to the story of the guy who went down one hundred floors with a woman in a wheelchair without knowing who she was, or of the Californian hockey player, who fought with the terrorists and prevented the plane from hitting a target that would have killed other hundreds of thousands of people. How on earth were they able to bow before a fellow human? Imperceptibly, with every word and musical note, the memory of some turned into a modern myth of tragic heroes. And with every phone call, millions and millions of dollars were put in a collection aimed at rewarding not a man or a family, but a spirit which nothing can buy. What on earth can unite the Americans in such a way? Their land? Their galloping history? Their economic power? Money? I tried for hours to find an answer, humming songs and murmuring phrases which risk of sounding like commonplaces. I thought things over, but I reached only one conclusion. Only freedom can work such miracles! — -
Giants writer has great analysis of Allen first game

Yeah. And two fumbles...one of which never touched his hands but is somehow his fault. He had had two other bonehead throws that make up for the deflections. -

That was hilarious. The Giants fans are not as loud so my guess is next week will be easier on the ears.

Discipline Was Improved Today

Last year I waited for yellow on every good play. I’d like to be rid of that habit. Improved O-line will help.
