  1. He's a published physicist, ie, no one reads what he writes. That's why he comes here.
  2. DRINK! DRINK! DOUBLES! CHUG!
  3. It looks odd because of where Hunter's right arm is. Once your brain notices Joe doesn't have two right arms, it looks a little better.
  4. Ukraine also says Biden is clean. Either way, Trump brought the pressure, just like I'm sure he's done many times in business. Remind them who has the checkbook. Then ask for the "favor."
  5. Trump used taxpayer funding as leverage to pressure a foreign president-elect to investigate his lead political rival. Response: What-about-the-other-side-ism.
  6. I get why Smith plays, but in the first half, they kept splitting DiMarco wide. I mean like it happened on at least 50% of the plays. And say what you want about that helps Josh read the D, I could not understand why they didn't use Yeldon in that role (and eventually they did) since he's an actual threat.
  7. There were about a hundred people waiting for him, including a disturbing number of Pats fans.
  8. I was there with quite a few fans booing him as he passed by on the golf cart that took him from the copter. I did not participate in, but was amused by, a "rub and tug" chant.
  9. Went through this once. Smell remained in some way for 6 months. But worst gone in a month. Good luck.
  10. He had his personal attorney doing the work before that, and he was leveraging aid on the call. But you knew both of those things already.
  11. "Investigate him once he's the top contender, but before that, who cares?" You might want to re-think that argument.
  12. The hearsay in the whistleblower complaint. Schiff's trip. All these things are shiny objects. The evidence (thus far) is easy to understand. Trump withheld the aid. Trump pressured Zelensky to investigate his number one opponent "as a favor" after reminding him about how much aid the US gives him. Whether that conduct aligns with things that sh##heads like Schiff want is besides the point. POTUS went too far. Impeachably so? Not sure but he's closer with this than the obstruction.
  13. When in doubt, play the Hussein card Joe. Always classy.
  14. Interesting to see how many R pundits are sliding to the side of criticizing Trump on this. Maybe Pelosi read the tea leaves right on her timing and the actions here.
  15. Guess what dumbo, you can be a lawyer and an engineer. (Ask a grown up to help you out on this.) And I can be John Adams and Benjamin Franklin and though maybe newer posters never knew that, it was not a state secret with a dark motive.
  16. Law school was a vacation from engineering, even though I had a full time job as an engineer. So easy. Anyone who says law school is hard was a liberal arts major.
  17. Better guitars sound better and as a better player, that matters a lot. As a beginner, the best thing to do is go to the store and literally get the one you like and that you can afford. There's no need to break the bank with your first guitar. James Taylor could play the hell out of a $150 Ibanez and you'd sound like crap on a $5000 Martin.
  18. Two new threads on the same topic already being discussed moran.
  19. Busey creating 2 new threads today did no one any favors. Idiot (him, not you, in this case. You in most cases.)
  20. DR's position that you've wandered into is that Trump didn't withhold the funding to the Ukraine and something about earmarking. He did withhold the funding and admitted it. It's just a silly position. Your childish obsession with me notwithstanding, what does that have to do with any position I've taken?
  21. (moving my reply to the whisteblower thread in the interests of topic management)
  22. He withheld the money from Ukraine. His rationale in that quote is that he feels like others aren't contributing enough (the EU has made 15B in loans to Ukraine...US had offered 1.5B in aid). DR doesn't believe that reports that he directed the withholding, but he admitted he did, and no doubt more will come on that if people are questioning the president's own admission. This seems like the least controversial part of this. If Trump didn't withhold the aid, he'd have already said it. "I didn't withhold aid from the Ukraine" would not be hard to say. Instead he said he'd do it again!
  23. If I link to Trump admitting he withheld the aid again, will you admit you were wrong again or just go quiet like you have on your assertion that Zelensky raised the European aid first in the call? Discussing the Ukraine aid, one Donald J. Trump on September 24: Better revise your position on this (again). Imagine if I read you nonsense this closely all the time. Good thing I don't or I'd be calling you on your bull#### even more!
