  1. The guy who finally closed the valve was probably on his way to his Jay Oh Bee doing something valuable.
  2. No, that's not the central claim. You're bad at this(R). (R) You're bad at this is a trademark of Deranged Rhino enterprises, which also owns other marks like ASSHAT, YOU'RE A DISHONEST POSTER, and CTRL-V [twitter link URL].
  3. My vote for even more irrelevance: You posting some guy's tweet mocking Time's cover of Kamala Harris.
  4. Conversations with myself? John Adams and Ben Franklin talked to each other a few times as jokes. No more than that.
  5. MAybe. But it was withheld. And whether Zelensky knew about that or just noted that he hadn't received the funding, the funding was part of the leverage introduced in literally the first subsntative thing Trump said. It set the whole tone for the "asks." "Hi fellow reality star. We give you sh**-tons of aid. Now can you do me a couple favors?" How many times do you think he's postured like this in construction deals? He asked about Biden, by name. Our reads are slightly different, but we agree on the facts. As far as I can tell, the only confirmed evidence of note so far is the call, and circumstantially the withholding of the funds. The identify of the whistleblower, hearsay evidence, Schiff-as-douche, Hunter-Burisma...is a lot of noise but the call is about the only thing not to lose sight of. It's the only thing making any fire towards impeachment and it's not enough.
  6. I'm not needing this lesson, thanks. The point is that he CAN and DID withhold the funds, if you believe his own admission (DC Tom makes the point that Trump is hard to believe so there's that) and the reporting. I have yet to see anyone deny Trump withheld the funds except for posters here. And in the end, Trump solicited the "favor" of investigating his lead political rival.
  7. Mmm kay His post frequency makes him the subject of more mockery. Post more and you'd get there too. Good luck though.
  8. Your obsession with me is bizarre.
  9. Only you would buy into a lecture about election outcomes from DR.
  10. Nice and judgey of you. Most people care about who officiates and that's why it's great that anyone can do it, including people who mean something special to the couple but who may not have years of seminary school. The best ceremonies are the ones where the people participating (not just the couple) know and love each other.
  11. Thanks stalker.
  12. Could cull threads by 75% and miss nothing.
  13. Twitter pastes could be a DRINK! but I'd get alcohol poisoning in 5 minutes.
  14. Aren't you the one who says polls are stupid? Like this one saying more people think Congress should begin impeachment proceedings than not?
  15. Only a few plays but that's a good little article.
  16. So you're saying the president can withhold funds. In this case, he only released the funds when Congress, including a lot of Rs, got up in his business about it. This is hard to counter.
  17. zzzzzz Schiff is a tool and this was a tool moment. Give him his spanking and move on. Do you want me to quote the president himself? Again? He says he withheld the aid. And he released it only when Congress got up his ass about it. Vertical text is one to watch. I do respect his Emmy nomination but my guess is that it’s not in a “best original” category.
  18. Did he have a list of people he named? Or did he only name one of them? Please show your work. Do you not believe the aid was withheld until Congress beat his ass about it?
  19. Nincompoop brain, he withheld the aid. And he used the aid on the call as leverage. That's all circumstantially relevant to the next sentence I will type. N'est pa? Then he asked for (let's use "solicited," shall we, since you're too dense to use it and brought up extortion) election help (let's call it an "in kind" contribution perhaps) from a foreign leader to investigate his leading political rival. Jesus, even some of Trump's biggest supporters think the call looks bad. But not you bud. You're tossing Trump's salad (which let's admit this at least, isn't nice based on his "diet").
  20. Your thinking: So the Biden ask wasn't a favor. It was an, umm, another "thing" he wanted. After talking about aid. Now Crowdstrike was a favor. And Bidens was not a favor. But an ask. And this distinction matters because...?
  21. Extortion is not the crime he's closest to on the call you nitwit, which is why you bringing up extortion from Warren-Sanders field is about the norm for your level of lahjik. Writing things out vertically could be a new one. DRINK! DRINK! DRINK! (with adverbial amplifier...1/2 extra)
  22. I hate to say this, but please god let 3rd be right. For once. I hate his politics with the fury of a million suns but he seems like a decent guy. His voice clearly resonates with a lot of (insane) America, and he likely represents the creeping edge of a political wave. Heal up Bernie. And don't worry, Warren can take your dream from here. (If Bernie ever drops out, Warren will be on easy street over Biden.)
  23. You know what would really surprise me? If the guy who needs US aid decided to publicly sh** on Trump. And you pride yourself on being politically knowledgeable. Are you sure journalists really picked up your posts and distributed them far and wide as their own? That really is a sad commentary on the media. Extortion is a crime and would be impeachable. Moran.
  24. Maybe I've even said this is not likely impeachable? And this is likely to backfire on the Dems? What about the other guy, again. Covered in so many other threads here on PPP.
