  1. Yes, the Republicans monetary responsibility that benefits the country is awe-inspiring.
  2. Just curious: Do you think humans are helping the ozone recovery by changing their actions? Think before posting!
  3. Proven wrong by it showing...the Steele dossier was bunk? People acted horribly but not in a conspiracy? The requirements for opening a FISA investigation are woefully easy to meet? Some people will be punished for keeping the investigation going, as they should be. It's not the nuclear bomb I've been told was coming for years. I thought you might have some appreciation for seeing both sides of this but I guess you think this is a good vs evil thing too. Oh well.
  4. Averaging 5 polls (including the 10 point outlier that is Quinnipiac) shows little movement. But you and DR can keep beating the drum of favorable polls. DISHONEST! ASSHAT! NPC!
  5. DRINK! DRINK! DRINK! DRIKN! It's the bifurcated lahjik of accepting half of the Mueller report as gospel and the other as partisan hackery.
  6. No. Perhaps, and this is his only out. But his obsession with Joe Biden, his lead opponent in the election, and his desire to go to the president of another country (not his own significant resources) for help, as well as his withholding of approved aid in what was a quid pro quo among other aspects of this, don't paint a pretty picture.
  7. Cool story bro! But not correct. Trump brought up Biden. Care to admit you were wrong?
  8. It shall be unlawful for- (1) a foreign national, directly or indirectly, to make- (A) a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value, or to make an express or implied promise to make a contribution or donation, in connection with a Federal, State, or local election; (B) a contribution or donation to a committee of a political party; or (C) an expenditure, independent expenditure, or disbursement for an electioneering communication (within the meaning of section 30104(f)(3) of this title); or (2) a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subparagraph (A) or (B) of paragraph (1) from a foreign national. It was close. Trump asked for a favor of a foreign national for sure. And it was in connection with an election. And he's done it a couple of times now. But he's right at the line. Don't be so naive as to think Trump is as clean as the wind-driven snow. And his first call should be to the president of a foreign country to perform this investigation? As a favor? And withhold aid to that country. And send his personal lawyer to dig up dirt on this person? It's not a great picture.
  9. Good luck with this. They prefer someone else go to Twitter, filter their feed, and spit it out here. And as a new poster with 2 posts, you'll be predicted to be fake in 3....2...
  10. You guys and your dark fantasies. Filling your biological need to find threats, you find them where they are not. Go eat a full meal, watch TV, drink clean water from the tap, take a drive in your car, go for a walk in safety...etc. Be grateful for what we have.
  11. Did you only pick those two examples showing one party's intractability by accident, or do you think this is a one-party issue? If we stopped with this stupid storyline that the other side is "evil," and instead worked across the aisle, things would get done. But that doesn't sell papers or win primaries.
  12. Maybe. But there'd be a discussion about fixing actual problems instead of impeachment that will fail 100%. Claro. But he is an accelerant too.
  13. I expect Trump will lose by a larger margin in the popular and win by about the same in the electoral. The big wins would come in Congress where Rs are coming out to vote for Trump and cast straight ballots. I haven't paid enough attention to what seats are up yet in the Senate. The big D turnout may help them.
  14. I wasn't referring to Trump except that he was also a birther when he didn't like Obama's election. So that answered your observation, "It really isn’t supposed to be like this but this is what happens when one side simply won’t accept the results of an election."
  15. Or you can enjoy the peace and prosperity and not create division where there could be less of it. Imagine if the debate of the day was about how to fix social security and curbing out of control spending.
  16. I demand to see the birth certificate of candidates I don't like. Trump acted badly and not how I want my executive to act. He deserves to be slapped around. Impeachment, especially one doomed to fail, is a massive waste of what could otherwise be useful energy.
  17. I'm happy to acknowledge that the probe's continuation was based on bad intel, but do you agree that its opening was proper, as Horowitz concluded?
  18. Spin cycle winding down for most of the field these days. It's a 4 horse race, and I wonder if Bloomberg stays in it until the convention on the off-chance that it's divided.
  19. You're not smart so I'll help here: DR's story was that his numbers are getting better. They aren't. Except in WI where he was already strong. So there's no big uptick as a result of any news one way or another. But it would be neat-o if there was. It would show people would think for themselves and change their minds on things. The election will be decided in PA and WI. Trump will win easily unless the Dems pick someone who can win those places.
  20. He's already close to 5% and polling in 5th place. I think the Dems are getting more serious about candidates who could beat Trump. Warren Sanders cannot. Buttigeg likely cannot and is mayor on 8000 votes. A centrist might. Comes down to WI and or PA.
  21. People still talk about pizzagate and birtherism like they are real. Why not the pee tape and tooth fairy?
  22. If ever there was fitting things to a narrative, there it is. "That which I believe was perfect. That which I don't is nonsense." Lahjik
