  1. Nah. She's going to private schools, where I pay to have her educated about god, in all the flavors (oh, the humanity), and where they aren't jimtarded enough to even consider teaching ID in science.
  2. Good. My kids will kick the crap out of your kids in science. While your kids can't rewire a circuit (god's mysteries), mine will. And when my kid fixes her bike, yours can let god fix it. And on and on. God is important, but god is not science. If you want to teach god, you should. And then, when you're in science class, teach science. And when you're in math class, teach math. And in spelling, teach spelling (god made the sounds). Wonder why American kids suck in science. Well, wonder no more.
  3. I'm not sure how many in the homobillinnyceous tree overlapped geographically though. Life isn't one big Jane Auel novel, you know.
  4. All dark skinned people are suspicious. Including Jamaicans.
  5. I figured that's what you meant. Carry on.
  6. What's the point of your post Sherlock?
  7. This serrated plastic knife is taking forever to slit through my wrists. Recommendations?
  8. Have you done your run away and hide thing yet? I asked some questions. You refuse to provide comment and answers. And the earth spins around again.
  9. And the definition of "is" is... Turn off the spin control on that silly line of defense Rush. Identifying the source as "Wilson's wife" is giving the name. Don't even try to Clinton out of this. see above If he gave out the name/identity of a CIA operative- by identifying her as Wilson's wife, what should be the recourse? Go on record. Bush said there were WMD and that's how he justified invading Iraq. He now admits there were not... 200 billion, 1700 lives and counting later. Seen a lot of firings?
  10. "Hearts and minds": soundbite regurgitation at its finest. Who disagrees? Many Iraqis are in favor of this government, and the insurgents are not "winning." But neither are they about to fold up tent and "lose," if there's even such a thing as clear win/loss in a war on terror.
  11. Considering the source of the original post in this thread, I'm glad this thread reached this state.
  12. L. Ron Hubbard believes in Picard.
  13. Another SOB stole my post as it was being written. Are my thoughts projecting through my keyboard today?
  14. Regarding your extended family, that's why I left "dumb parents" in my original post. If your family can't go for more than a ten minute ride to dinner and engage kids in conversation, then either or both the kids and parents are dumb. As for allowance, if kids don't do work around their house, whose fault is that? The gameboy? The DVD player? Don't blame technology for the failings of that most selfish of groups: the "Beaver generation."
  15. As much as I like libtards, richtard is more appropriate.
  16. Wah Wah Wah. You sound like your parents. "I used to be play for hours with a broken marble, and I was thrilled." Do you have any idea what the Internet has done for literacy? Kids read ALL THE TIME now. Book sales today are through the roof. Before I could read, I despised being in the car for long trips. Anyone who remembers the "joy" of 10 hours of "I Spy" in the car is a lying POS. I didn't realize that Lego was about to go out of business. Or Hot Wheels. I go to Toys R Us and I see a wall of puzzles. Maybe you only know dumb kids and dumb parents?
  17. You richtards posted that stuff while I was writing. Dang it.
  18. And some good old-school racism and sexism. Women wouldn't dare talk about being abused back then. I long for the good old days.
  19. The day the church announced this, your marriage became valueless.
  20. The satire of this, as well as the message, is pretty lost on me.
  21. Look at those internet muscles. So impressive. I got plenty of yelling at when I was a kid, bt the couple of times guys grabbed me and shook me around made a lot bigger impression on me than an "eff you" out a car window.
  22. You think? I've supported MADD, and never had that impression. I always saw them as singleminded: don't drink and drive, which is a pretty simple, clear, and good message. BTW, if a mother loses a child to a drunk driver, and goes prohibitionist, I won't throw stones. (It's like mothers who become pacifists after losing their children in war. I could argue with them about the necessity of some wars, but I wouldn't have the stomach to do it.)
  23. That was the appeals court ruling. He's got one more level- the Ill Supreme Court. To Stojan: If your kid acts like a efftard in public, I will most likely chastise him or her. If he then acts like a punk after I chastise him, I may grab him to make sure I've got his attention, and then reiterate my point. That's miles away from being a sex offender.
  24. Do you only donate to charities that are 100% effective? That's a solid way to save money.
  25. There's no right to privacy for what's in full view in your car, so there's that. As to whether people can stand around checkpoints, I'm sure the police aren't happy, but I believe the point is to raise awareness. The goal of those checkpoints isn't to catch bad guys, but to discourage DWIs. Do you know if the MADD people talked to the police before "joining" them? They might have done this as a joint effort.
