  1. Yes: we should leave him up: Buffalo honors its great athletes. When our kids ask who that guy was, we can all proudly point up to his name, teary-eyed, and laud the heroism of the woman-beating murderer. You people who excuse OJ by separating the murderer from the player are pathetic. You can't take away his records, but you can stop honoring him as a Buffalo hero.
  2. Here's are the forks in your tongue: and So which is it? was he or wasn't he found "guilty" in a US court? Setting aside your lack of understanding of findings of liability and guilt (from a student of law no less), a court found him responsible for the murder of Goldman and battery of Nicole. That you defend his on-field heroics and would pay public tribute to him is abhorrent. Is this "hate the sin" and love the sinner? Buffalo can do better than pay tribute to a wife-beating murderer. What the guy did on the field can't be taken away--but there's no need to pay homage to him.
  3. So civil courts don't count. Which side of your forked tongue will you speak from next?
  4. He's at least 51% responsible for Goldman's death, and also found liable for battery of them both. (C'mon lawboy--study up on the torts.) Battery. Of a woman. And it wasn't the first time. And he's 100% responsible for this latest embarassment. So he beats women. He is responsible for the death of a man. And he speculates as to how he would have cvommitted the murders. And your argument is "don't judge him" and "keep him on the wall." Nice.
  5. Oh please. Judging people is a pretty important human behavior.
  6. He was found liable for the murders. And his recent behavior sullies him even more. It's absurd that he's being touted as a Buffalo hero. Eff him.
  7. How would I know if there was a problem with levers and paper ballots?
  8. This thread reminds me of something I'd forgotten: Tom Donahue is Satan and drinks baby's blood.
  9. Losman was 9-13. Can't say he lost the game. The gameplan was not to throw, obviously. He completed his passes when called on.
  10. Going out on a limb there.
  11. At least she's got a high IQ.
  12. I've been voting on electronic machines for at least 6 years. Never had a problem.
  13. Rationale like that is why my diehard Democrat father used to vote every year for D'Amato. He brought home the bacon to NYS.
  14. Schwartzkopf? Analyst for CNN. Powell? Run out by Rummy and Bush.
  15. So what, Mission Accomplished because some parts of Iraq are happy? Sorry Charlie. Iraq is a !@#$ up by any measure. And the buck stops at Bush.
  16. Guess that approval ratings don't mean much. Go figure.
  17. I'm not necessarily a fan of the Democrats but it is nice to see the [40%?] of America that votes get charged up enough to send a message. The bigger message may be to the Republicans: start acting like Conservatives or your base won't show up to vote. Here in PA, voters dumped a pretty powerful Republican and Bush-loving senator in a landslide. Not saying his challenger is a great candidate but still, it's a message.
  18. Republicans will retain power in the House.
  19. In races anyone would care about, I voted for Democrat Rendell for Governor. I voted for Democrat Casey (against Santorum is a more accurate description of my vote--they are both despicable). I voted for three Republicans besides those two--all three are sacrificial lambs to the Democratic candidates. There were only 5 positions to vote for in my district in PA. Also a state referendum.
  20. You have trouble differentiating between the written word and pictures? VF often highlights the hottest pop-culture topics in its photos, which are also highly regarded. VF's focus is pop culture but again, it's regarded as one of the best-written magazines in the US.
  21. That's not a great comparison. Brady already has 3 SB rings. Already--to go along with some excellent (but not Manningesque) statistics.
  22. Bwahahahaha. OK, "discount" the QBs role on a 3 SB winning team. That's cute. Are you forgetting the 2 SBs Brady won with Antawain Smith at running back? Antawain Smith, who we got a good look at here and who was horrible. I'd say Brady won with less than Manning.
  23. I looked up Kelly because he was a relative winner. Manning and his supporting cast is a fantasy-football dream. I didn't compare Brady to Manning. You did. I'd take Brady and Montana over Manning. Give me the proven winner and leader. Do you remember what an old Montana did with a crappy KC team at the end of his career? He made them all better--and they had nothing on offense on that team.
  24. Right. Dillon had one good season in NE. That's it. Brady has no Harrison/Edge combination. Not even close. He plays in foul weather (unlike Manning). Oh, and he owns Manning and some hardware Manning lacks.
