What degree did you get?

Just as a personal aside, I can't sit like Bush is sitting. You know that classic groin stretch where you join the soles of your feet in front of you and push down your knees towards the floor? When I do that, my knees end up looking like a V. Because of that, I usually sit like Obama when I cross my legs.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/11/12/...in4595068.shtml What else needs to be said. Lehman failed and it hurt. It might be time to let Detroit go too. This little plague we're in may be as good of a time as any to stop keeping crappy things on life support.

The thought of Losman as the QB NOW....
John Adams replied to THEDuganWolcott's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
JP has proven he can't do better. Trent hasn't. Stick with Trent. In my book, despite the bad line, he gets a pass through 2009. He's shown enough good flashes that I can't blame him for lack of line, running game, no TE, and no legit #2 WR. I'll blame him for all those things at the end of next year. -

Losman should be our starting QB
John Adams replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's see. The guy with 3 years less experience has the same numbers as the guy with 3 years more. Who's better? Again, if he has these numbers at the end of next year, call me. Right now, he's the Bills young QB and his current numbers (after 16 games played) are better than Eli's in his first 16. -
He's their best blocker.

Losman should be our starting QB

Edwards is way ahead then, having just recently played in his 16th game. Thanks for making the point. If his stats look like this in 2 years, call me. -

You obviously forgot who JP Losman is. -

How good is Edwards going to be when he gets less than 3 seconds to throw to 3 receivers who are covered by 8 guys? Seriously, a 3 man rush gets to him in less than 3 seconds. When teams play the Bills, it's like they have an all out blitz coming every down...combined with nickel coverage. It's insane. -
I can't blame Fairchild. Teams now see the personnel weakness. In the last 4 games, I don't recall more than 3 blitzes a game, and yet teams still get pressure. Combine that with the Bills inability to run at all and WTF is Turk supposed to do. Facing 3 and 4 man rushes, the team can't run or protect the QB. What play is he supposed to call to beat that? I mean: the other teams aren't even scheming anymore because the line is so horrendous. Edwards drops back and sees his 3 WRs covered by 7-8 guys...and has about 2.5 seconds to throw. Good luck.

A Few Thoughts About The Game
John Adams replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Weren't we all? Does the fact that it's now been exposed that the lines only play well against sh------- teams somehow prohibit him from being critical now? I thought they played great against Seattle. Turns out that Seattle, a playoff team last year, is a fraud. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
John Adams replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best news coming out of this game is that I feel a temporary relief that I do not NEED to be in front a TV for kickoff. I can now satisfy my weekly dose of pain listening to the radio and maybe doing something productive. I am a big Trent fan but teams are figuring out the Bills. You rush 3-4, drop the rest. Because the line blows, you STILL get pressure and while pressuring, you have tons of people in coverage. With any line OR running game--either one--the offense might be OK. But the lack of either one is certain doom. I want 2 lineman back for 2009. Peters and Walker. The rest can go. As to the defense, they are not awful but there's not a playmaker in the bunch. That 25 minute drive sums up a Bills-PAts game over the last 6-7 years. -
You quit the board last week and months before.

The refs got the onsides kick right and the odds of the Bills winning even if they had gotten that ball are about 1 in a thousand. They would have had the ball at their 37, 1:30 left, no timeouts, needing 2 scores--and another successful onsides kick. Gimme a break. Randy Cross said, "You've seen it before..." Really Randy? FFS. This game was lost by a terrible game by Edwards, who I still believe in by the way and no running game or consistent play-calling in it. Oh, and a defense that can't make a play. Sure, they don't get crushed deep but they cannot make plays.

The "Official" Bills Gameday thread!!
John Adams replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe they changed that rule last year. It can be declined now. In any event, #38 for the Bills touched it with his hand. I watched all the replays in TiVo and the one from behind the Pats shows his left hand hitting the ball (not intentionally--he didn't see it) before it gets to Bruschi). Who cares? The game was over. -
Anyone else see NFL Matchup?
John Adams replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't let the line off that easy, though it's been true for a while that Lynch needs better coaching. The problem with Jackson is that he may not be strong enough to be a 25 carry guy. It would be much better if Lynch improved (has much more upside) even though Jackson is currently playing better. -

That camera was all over the place. It was a crew in the room. Too bad the teacher can't even speak proper English. I love the "Oh Lord" and "Jesus" when 2 kids say they support McCain. More fodder against public schooling.
