  1. It's democracy man! Power to the (stupid) people.
  2. Nice that you assumed my post was directed at you. At least you are starting to accept your personality disorder. That's a step. Of course, there's no curing narcisistic personality disorder. But a good therapist can help you act more human. I pull your strings. You danced. Good try turning that around though.
  3. Troll, coward, AND hypocrite. A three-fer.
  4. DaveinElma, Troll extraordinairre. Definition of coward.
  5. There were a solid 63 people at OWS Philadelphia when I walked by this week. Must be the most over covered least effective protest ever.
  6. The world doesn't revolve around you narcissist king.
  7. Past performance is not a predictor of future guarantees. And this thread is yet young.
  8. The only one allowed to directly insult someone else on OT is Simon. Here comes the thread close, temporary vacation PMS moment.
  9. After you're done hand-raising, go protest in a major city park.
  10. Wonders why Dave is so afraid to say what he does. "Running a business" is not a description. I also run a business. I can tell you lots of facts about it without giving a clue what I do. It's 25M/year revenue. It's in a major city. It employs 110 people. Etc. So what do you do Dave?
  11. I hate someone. If I even say his nickname, he starts to cry, so I can't say who.
  12. Which game does Holland forfeit? The one they won 6-0 that gives them the tiebreaker or the on they won 1-0 that lets the other team advance? Gee, I wonder which one they would pick. You don't open the door to stupidity like this. You follow the rules. When you break the rules, you pay the consequence under the rules. The rules were not ambiguous at all. Now you want to levy a fine that was not the penalty under the rule? You are just deciding arbitrary consequences? Anything else you want to change about the rules?
  13. Actually, everyone is taking responsibility so you're only 100% wrong. The adults are teaching a great lesson. What you and others want is to pass the buck to the AD and blame one person. Shared responsibility is part of being something bigger. You prefer to say it is one persons fault and because of that, no rules should apply. That's no lesson except in how to avoid responsibility.
  14. Why would buying one of the top ten most reliable brands of cars be flushing money down the drain? Wouldn't buying Ford or Chevy be flushing money, seeing how they are less reliable? American working trucks are solid. Cars, bad reps.
  15. It's not being settled in court. They violated a rule. They already lost. A game between 14-2 and 15-2 would only help the team that broke the rule and possibly hurt the team that didn't.
  16. 1st place team 15-2, 2nd place team 14-2. Who deserves to advance? Rules matter. That seems like a good lesson.
  17. He's a documentary filmmaker. How about you?
  18. Ya know, I did google it. Turns out that SUVs are different from stationwagons. But I guess you knew that.
  19. I never understood the demise of the station wagon. I don't need a truck, but I do need room to haul the family around and a third row of seats is helpful sometimes. My option on this is a minivan or a truck. I hate minivans and trucks have capacity I don't need. Went with truck.
  20. Good little troll.
  21. I do too. I got my wife to test drive both it and a Highlander. She prefers the Highlander, mostly due to Toyota's reliability, quiet ride, and the sharper interior. I think the Edge has a better looking exterior though--not a fan of the Highlander's look at all.
  22. Some lawyers suck. Some doctors are terrible. There will always be !@#$s. This case is going nowhere but it will get headlines for a day, then when it gets dismissed, no one will report on it.
  23. IF I hear about student loan forgiveness again, I'm going to nuke these people. I feel fortunate that I could take out student loans to go to college. I worked full-time, supported my wife, and took out student loans as well--ant things were tight but I finally graduated. I was confident taking out the loans because I was in a major (Engineering) that was likely to have high paying jobs at the end of it. If you take out loans to be an English major, enjoy using 50% of your Wal-Mart manager salary to pay back your loan each month.* You were stupid and I have no sympathy. *Assumes English major strawman is qualified to be manager at Wal-Mart.** **Bad assumption, I know.*** ***Substitute cashier for manager.
  24. The trucks have pretty good reps actually. But clearly, American truck drivers like American trucks. Still, since 98% of the population doesn't need a truck, it's like I said: A shame American cars just can't get better on reliability.
