  1. I didn't see the movie nor will I. I bet the majority of Congress can't explain what the Fed is. I see no reason why a small state governor who was never the brightest bulb would know much about it.
  2. Everything said about crazy Rick is just more support for my premise that you cannot seriously consider a man in a sweater vest.
  3. His message is: The right handed me a POS economy that was the result of deregulation and set up to help the rich get richer. I've stopped the bleeding and we are seeing signs of the healing. Let me keep helping fix this economy and wealth gap. That 99% crap has a lot of steam behind it. Hell, 56% of people in some poll Magox posted said income equality was a major issue in this election! That's flat socialism. And those kooks vote. Romney's got an independent appeal and I may vote for him, but he will have a hell of a hard time locking in his base. They won't vote Obama, but I doubt they will rally around him. And the more Mitt gets dragged into social issues by Santorum staying in the race, the less appealing he is to independents. Can Romney win? Of course. Will he? I can't see how, despite Obamas approval rating. The Republicans have not picked a winner in Romney. Once the campaigning starts, Obamas numbers will go up.
  4. Wow. I never thought you were as dumb as the likes of 3rdnlng. I stand corrected. And you're right:on one thing: I've fallen into the trap of beating on retards. It happens to us all over here. Sorry I've been hard on you. I'll lay off.
  5. It's great that you take Dave seriously. But then, you take the other Dave seriously too.
  6. I predict that LA will make his prediction on November 7. And I predict that my prediction is right.
  7. I can't predict what will happen in the technology industry that I serve in a year either. Should I expand? Should I upgrade equipment? You predict based on what you think will happen not on the fear that "It's absolutely impossible to predict right now what will happen in November." Are you this brave when predicting the Bills record in August? "I predict that if Fred Jackson runs for 1800 yards and Fitz throws 45 touchdowns, the Bills will make the playoffs." Let me give you something that might help you here: OO
  8. Dave in Elma the racist is about as real a poster as DiN. I responded to his post without looking at the poster.
  9. What's going on in the Republican primary doesn't begin to make me panic. Obama's a terrible president with a low approval rating--and I predict he'll win for all the reasons already covered, reasons that Magox disagrees with. Way to continue to avoid making a prediction. Who will win?
  10. Good reading comprehension derwood.
  11. Nope. Can't say I miss it.
  12. Chuck E Cheese has been the 7th circle of of bad parenting for a long, long time. Start with saliva, snot-covered ball pool and go from there. Wow. I just realized it's another troll post. My bad.
  13. You dolt. I made that statement in a thread where people were talking about predicting the winner. Anyone can win. Even KRC. I made a prediction. I may be right. I may be wrong. Maybe you don't understand the concept of prediction? It's a reasoned guess. You didn't put your neck on the line trying to make a prediction. Having taken no stand, your criticisms are empty. If you want to credibly join the discussion, make a prediction and back it up. Or continue to sit on the sidelines like the water boy.
  14. So wait, I don't argue with reason but I'm right? Quit while you're ahead Beavis.
  15. What math doesn't agree? I looked at the poll question and results. The fact that 56% of people specifically mentioned fairness and income equality is a !@#$ horror and undoubtedly leftist. The economy answers--"jobs" and "economy in general"--are not necessarily good for the Conservative movement. Some of the people identifying" economy in genera" are no doubt socialists. Just because a lot of economic issues is a high concern doesn't mean that it's good news for Romney, especially with so many people on the "99%" fairness bandwagon. President Barack Obama. Vice President Biden. Go home.
  16. The fact that "fairness" weighs in at 56% is incredible. Imagine how many people who see fairness through the lens of the "Economy" and "unemployment" answers. Obama's 99% message will resonate. Romney's message of "If you're in the 99%, I want to give you the best chance of becoming one of the 1%" is one I prefer but I'm not naive enough to see that as a winning theme.
  17. I don't count the goofs at the fringes of the Dem party any more than I count the goofs at the fringes of the Reps. Obama will have Dems show up in droves--something Romney will have to fight for.
  18. You are curious to see how the one issue anti-abortion candidate who ran against Obama in Oklahoma fared? Doesn't sound like news to me. Only FOX, looking to stir controversy (Obama only got 57% support--he can barely control his own party!), is picking it up.
  19. But in 2008 you had two candidates who were going to get 100% support from their base and they weren't gearing up to run against an incumbent. Plus, Obama diffused any issue by making it clear Hillary would play a role in his cabinet. That certainly won't happen for Santorum. Romney has enough sense not to put Santorum anywhere near the White House.
  20. Really? Do you see this as a trend that matters? The only people showing up to vote in the 2012 Dem primary are those voting for Lyndon Larouche and other fringe kooks. One thing you can be sure of: Obama has his base 100% locked in.
  21. That's a salient analysis. I feel you overstate optimism about polls that show Romney neck-n-neck with Obama. Obama isn't campaigning yet--I know--"He's been campaigning for 3 years" but we all know that's not true. When the Obama campaign team kicks into high gear, it's going to rev up strong. You don't, but people who doubt the strength of campaign Obama need to remember 2008 when a no name Senator became president. He's a strong campaigner. And he can spin a lot of positives "We've turned the ship around that the Republicans handed us." "Who's more of a friend of the 1%? Me, or the billionaire?" "We got out of the stupid war in Iraq." "We killed Osama." Of course, a lot of it is BS but their message will be strong and one of Obama's weakest points with independents, the health care law passage, Romney can't credibly attack.
  22. Yeah, he was such a great guy on draft day. Eli is a POS.
  23. African countries are never a priority. Not sure how to change that.
  24. Maybe, and I know your hope that is that he stays on message and somehow survives the cesspool that is the Republican primary because his economic message plays better to independents than it does to the base. That's a good strategy for the long haul...but he's engaged in enough of the social issues to tarnish him, and having to associate and engage on those issues because Santorum won't go away is hurting him both in the short and long term. He can't focus on Obama until Santorum and Gingrich are vanquished, which is going to take a long time.
