BTW, I'm not even sure I what I would support. Jumping headfirst into Iran vs. Israel sounds frightening. Ignoring it sounds frightening. It would be bad no matter what and require some serious diplomatic work to keep it from escalating fast.

He was for a more powerful federal government, and if anyone thinks that was the wrong stance as we stand here in 2012, let him be ruled by a King, with each state having its own military and currency! No real comparison between what he envisioned the federal government doing and what happened. He saw weak borders, states completely fragmenting the new union, and a New World-hungry Europe. The only response, in his view, was a stronger federal government. His view was repudiated by the run of anti-federalist presidents who followed his term. Stupid Jeffersonians...note the greatest accomplishment of the Jeffersonian presidency was to act like a federalist (or dictator really) and way overstep his authority with the Louisiana Purchase. I wouldn't be John Adams if I didn't point out Jefferson's failings, right?

I'd say drafting Bruce had more impact on the Bills but the Biscuit trade required more GM savvy. Drafting Bruce was a no-brainer (not that the Bills hadn't screwed up no brainers before Bruce).

And I use Adorama. The last 3 are all super reputable. SDS is right re telephoto lens quality but you're a beginner so you should get as much telephoto lens as you can afford, but if your camera comes with some stock telephoto zoom, first see how you feel about it. You can always add more lenses later. I have a Nikon--they tend to be heavy as a brick but I love Nikons. I've owned Canons--lots of people swear by them. Never had a Sony. It's potayto potahto. Get what feels right to you.

I went to a much much much worse school than Bucknell and that should make you feel a lot better because obviously you put a lot of stock in such things. And really, you could use some help. Your posts are getting more and more awkward for you.

Hey stupid, rkfast's topic was a farce, as was my response...but since lack of sense of humor is common in people with NPD, I shouldn't be surprised that you missed it. (Note your addiction to the smiley brother: You laugh a lot at your own jokes.) My god man, you even dance for me when I'm not turning the organ grinder crank!

I've taken a couple more advanced classes from PPSOP. A little pricier but they are good. For a beginner, read the manual and go shoot for a while first. You can shoot with anything, really. But if you're looking to up your game, I'd recommend any Digital SLR that makes you want to take pictures. Don't bother listening to a bunch of camera fanboy nonsense. Just get the one you like. Every camera has a million features...don't think that the 16 megapixel makes a whit of difference compared to the 12 megapixel and pay $400. IT doesn't make that much of a difference. I don't think there is such a thing as a "bad" digital SLR these days. If you are thinking about getting serious, you will want to change lenses and use filters because really, getting it right at the time of shooting makes a bigger difference to your shot than all the post-processing.
