    The only move I would make is for a decent 1 tech, but we don't have the cap space for one and the Dline we already have hasn't gelled in 7 weeks. I dunno how anyone could come in an make a difference at this point.

    It begins and ends with the Dline. A successful Dline helps all levels of the defense, much like a rising tide raising all ships. We cannot get pressure on the QB, they have time to wait for receivers to get in better positions, the LBers are simply not great and injured and we don't actually have a nickel or CB2. This defense is painful to watch.

    This doesn't explain everything. Josh is overthrowing and underthrowing, receivers are dropping balls. The Dline is not playing worldbeaters, they are playing mostly 2nd stringers.

    It just sucks because you really can't buy in to this team. They play well and then completely disappear and don't look close to what they did before.

    We have zero depth at LB and both of our starters have been limited for most of the season. Combine that with a Dline who can't figure out how to play together and the D is not doing well at present.

    Is it a valid question? Because I've been watching and it seems like a valid question. I don't see much nastiness on the Dline.

    This thread got really interesting once Lewan got injured too. I feel like many more people would celebrate this injury cause he's a douchebag, but they just spent 2 pages criticizing some poster for celebrating Devin Bush's injury so they don't want to look like hypocrites.

    This defense was not great when we had all our starters. Without starters we are straight trash.

    I'm annoyed we're even playing this game. Between the announcers acting like the Titans are being brave by playing, Goddell acting like the Titans didn't hold illegal practices in violation of rules and Andre Roberts creating a turnover for the other team, I'm about to jump through a window.

    Your feelings-based argument asked how people would feel if NE got a forfeit win. Since we're making up scenarios and NE isn't in line for one, I chose to ground your hypothetical in reality and gave the bills (and steelers ftr) forfeit victories.

    In your hypothetical the bills already have a win by forfeit and they would have had to lose 2 division games, so yeah that'd be our own fault.
